BIODEGRADATION OF CELLULOSE BY WOOD DECAYING FUNGI
JAGRATI PARIHAR,C.K.TIWARI,AKHILESH AYACHI,R.K. VERMA
Journal of Applied Sciences in Environmental Sanitation , 2012,
Abstract: In the present study 212 specimens of wood decaying fungi were collected from Chhattisgarh, India, during survey in rainy season, 2009- 2010. These were identified, brought in pure culture by tissue culture method on Potato dextrose agar medium. Out of these, 33 species were screened and tested for cellulose degradation capability using filter paper cellulose. The ability of host fungus to utilize insoluble form of cellulose was measured. It was found that, all the 33 wood decaying fungi were able to decompose cellulose at varying degree. Biodegradation of cellulose and CAI were observed maximum with Navisporus floccosus whereas, Pyrofomes tricolor showing minimum biodegradation of cellulose and Flavodon flavus show minimum CAI. It is concluded that cellulose decomposition pattern was vary not only among the genera but also between the species of same genus.

Natural Science (NS) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/ns.2012.410106
Abstract: In the present paper, first ever experimental Compton profile of Nd2O3 have been measured using 137Cs Compton spectrometer at an intermediate resolution of 0.34 a.u. Theoretical profile are computed using PP-DFT-GGA, PP-DFT- LDA and PP-DFT-SOGGA within the frame work of LCAO scheme in, and are compared with experimental results. Theoretical anisotropies in directional Compton profiles are explained in term of degenerate states along the Fermi level.
Identification of RAPD marker for the White Backed Plant Hopper (WBPH) resistant gene in rice
A Parihar, AR Pathak, P Parihar
African Journal of Biotechnology , 2010,
Abstract: The experimental material consisted of two parents Gurjari (white backed plant hopper resistant) and Jaya (white backed plant hopper susceptible) and their F2 progeny. The purpose of the study was the identification of RAPD (Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) marker for white backed plant hopper (WBPH) resistant gene. The RAPD analysis was done group wise as well as combined for the bulk segregant analysis (BSA). For the BSA, of the total 50 random primers surveyed, a single linked primer, OPA 08, was identified. This primer generated 8-bands, one of which, OPA08-7, was putatively linked to resistant gene as was evident by its presence in almost all the resistant bulks and vice-versa. This band had molecular weight equal to 1219.38 bp and was found in resistant parent, Gurjari, and in almost all the resistant bulks (the four susceptible bulks revealed absence of the same band) indicating the band OPA08-7 as a marker for WBPH resistance among the screened rice genotypes.
INCLUSION RELATIONS FOR K-UNIFORMLY STARLIKE FUNCTIONS AND SOME LINEAR OPERATOR
Singh Parihar,Hari;
Proyecciones (Antofagasta) , 2009, DOI: 10.4067/S0716-09172009000200006
Abstract: in this paper, we have established the inclusion relations for k-uniformly starlike functions under the ls (ai)f(z) operator. these results are also extended to k- uniformly convex functions, close to convex and quasi-convex functions.
GOOD GOVERNANCE, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT & MAXIMUM SOCIAL ADVANTAGE
Surinder Singh Parihar
International Journal of Economics and Research , 2012,
Abstract: Good governance encompasses full respect of human rights, the rule of law, effective participation, multiactor partnership, political pluralism, transparent & accountable processes and institutions, an efficient and effective public sector, legitimacy ,access to knowledge information and education, political empowerment of people, equity ,sustainability and attitude and value that foster responsibility, solidarity and tolerance and all areas which effect political, social ,and cultural and religious life. The good governance is the process where by the public institutions conduct public affairs ,manage public resources and guarantee the realisation of human rights in a manner essentially free of abuse and corruption and with due regard for the rule of the law. The true test of the good governance is the degree to which it delivers on promise of human rights, civil, cultural, political and social rights. The key questions are- are the the institutions of governance guaranteeing the right to health, right to adequate housing, adequate food, safe drinking water, quality education ,access to elecrticity, fair justice and personal security?Sustainable development is the development that sustains the economy. It is the developmement without destruction. It is the development thet seeks the conservation of the natural capital stock and of environmental resources .It meets the needs of the present generations without compromising the needs of the future generations. But to ensure sustainable development the governance needs to be efficient. The good governace & sustanaible development should be the test for the the Principal of Maximum Social Advantage
Pericardial hydatid cyst
Parihar A,Maldhure B
Lung India , 2006,
Abstract: Pericardial cyst are rare anomaly. Hydatid cyst in Pericardium represent only 0.5-2% of cases of systemic echinococal infection. They are usually unilocular and filled with clear liquid giving rise to term "Spring water cyst," usually do not cause symptoms only noticed because of external compression or rupture into heart. Pericardial cysts are differentiated from other benign development abnormal-ity like benign intrapericardial branching cyst which identified on 2 dimensional echocardiography and computed tomography.

Macular degeneration in a case of Reiter′s disease
Sawhney MPS,Parihar JKS
Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology , 2006,
Abstract: Posterior uveitis is not a documented feature of Reiter′s disease. We describe here a patient of Reiter′s disease, who after a bout of dysentery in January 2002 developed macular edema of the right eye with visual acuity of 6/36. In December 2002, she was found to have phlyctenular conjunctivitis. In June 2004, when she reported with scaly plaques over both palms, repeat ophthalmological examination revealed macular degeneration of the right eye. The simultaneous occurrence of Reiter′s disease and macular degeneration in this patient may be fortuitous but the immunological basis of both diseases suggests a possible association.
