Sociopoética: un puente para "cuidar - investigar" en enfermería

Abstract: in this work we justify a preposition of taking care - investigating based on the social poetics rudiments, having as centre the researcher group that meets approval in the theory of dialogical action. the care of the group articulates to the act of the researching because the knwledges of the professionals and of the clients are questioned, being that each one learns with the other. there is coherence with the nursing because the care helps the group in the identification of its human potential of growing up becoming strong. so that, when we take care of the other, we foment his comprehension and his acceptance of the care, favorouring him to take care of himsel. we concluded that, considering physical and spiritual dimensions, the social poetics establishes a bridge even a political ecology of the spirit, consolidating the solidarity between the human beings and the plural self- administration.

Abstract: En este trabajo justificamos una propuesta de "Cuidar - Investigar" fundamentada en los principios sociopoéticos, centrándonos en el grupo investigador que encuentra un gran aporte en la "Teoría de la Acción Dialógica". El "cuidar" del grupo se articula con el acto de "investigar", porque los conocimientos de los profesionales y de los clientes se cuestionan siendo que cada cual aprende con el otro. Existe coherencia con la naturaleza de la enfermería en la que "cuidar" es una ayuda al grupo en la identificación de su potencial humano de crecer y fortalecerse como tal. Así al cuidar a otro, se promueve su comprensión y aceptación del cuidado, ayudándolo a cuidarse a sí mismo. Se concluye que al considerar las dimensiones físicas y espirituales en el "cuidar", la Sociopoética establece un puente hacia una ecología política del espíritu, consolidando la solidaridad entre los seres humanos y la pluralidad autogestionaria. Activities of the nurse: direct and indirect care to the hospitalized client. A descriptive study

Abstract: In the development of the nursing assistance, the role of the nurse is to create and to support practical of more humanitarian care. Then, which the activities implemented by nurse in the administration of taking care of? In this study it is had as objective to identify and to describe the activities developed for the nurse to taking care of the hospitalized client. It was chosen the analytical descriptive research through the individual interview applied to 13 residents of nursing, of general hospital of Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, in 2006. The developed activities had been categorized in direct cares, indirect cares and not developed indirect cares. It was observed the predominance of activities of forecast and provision of material and the implementation of the medicinal therapy. We conclude that, in the administration of the process of work of the nursing assistance to the client, aspects of bureaucratic character predominate. Therefore, the act of taking care in nursing implemented by the subjects of this research, although idealized as a care practice, discloses traditional aspects of a model that follows the decisions of the evaluation and medical therapy

Abstract: considering the particular nuances of the nurses who exert management function, the following problem was delimited: what is the profile of the nurse leader in a management role? the objective of the study was to delineate the profile of the nurse in a management position according to personal and professional characteristics. the research was performed in 2007, in rio de janeiro, brazil, using the descriptive method, applying a questionnaire to 66 nurses in managerial positions. the predominant age group was 44 to 48 years, in a stable relationship and having one child. most participants (89.39%) have two public jobs, graduated from 21 to 25 years ago (39.39%), have theoretical preparation for leadership (80.39%), and have postgraduate diplomas either lato sensu (36.36%) or stricto sensu (36.06%). in conclusion, nurses in leadership roles have, predominantly, specialization in clinical areas and leadership is essential for the care process. future studies should correlate their profile to managerial styles and to leadership dimensions.

Abstract: considering that leadership dimensions of nurses condition our management style, the following was delimited as a problem: which are the dominant and subdominant styles of nursing leadership in the exercise of management activities, according to his self-perception? the objective of this study was to identify the grid style adopted by nurses, according to leadership, initiative, and research dimensions within the daily work of hospital nursing. this is a quantitative, descriptive study which was carried out in a hospital in rio de janeiro, brazil. from june to july, 2007, 66 nurses were interviewed. in the initiative dimension style, 5.5 were noticed to be dominant and 9.9, subdominant. in the investigation dimension styles, 9.9 is dominant and 1.1, subdominant. we conclude that style 1.1, as the nurse's subdominant, reveals that the subjects tend not to care, thus idealizing leadership 5.5 (organizational man) compatible with nursing team's needs and institution aims.
Como tornar-se idoso: um modelo de cuidar em enfermagem gerontológica

Abstract: presuming that greater comprehension of elderly people's imaginations about their aging will provide nurses knowledge concerning the care offered them, the possibilities of innovation in nursing practice were investigated using sociopoetics with elderly people in rio de janeiro, brazil. the results demonstrated the existence of dichotomies of the imaginary in aging: the old versus the elderly; acceptance versus denial of aging, culminating in the wished versus unwished in aging. it was concluded that people via the continuity of life don't want be old (to live that which is unwished, with discomfort), but they want to become elderly (to become old with welfare), making it possible to comprehend what is contained in the process of acceptance and denial of aging. this evidence guides us to adopt the knowledge produced in this sociopoetical care/research directed for the quality of life of elderly people.

Abstract: the objectives of this study are to describe the profile of people interned in a clinical unit and to identify their dependence on nursing care in hospital admission. it is a descriptive research by means of clinical inquiry and documental analysis of 150 elderly people of campos city, rio de janeiro, brazil, from march to june of 2006. descriptive statistics were applied to the data, providing the following information: 28.6% of the subjects are between 60 and 66 years of age, with 72.6% of these male; 52.06% are from the north region and were interned with multiple pathologies. concerning the care: 36.6% of the subjects depended on an intermediate; 33.3% required minimum care; 26.0% needed semi-intensive; and 04.0% required intensive care. this evaluation of dependence on nursing care revealed that people were clinically stable, but partially dependent upon care for their human necessities. it was concluded that occupation of hospital beds by the elderly signals the necessity for public health policies to favor the maintenance of elderly health, seeking healthy aging and avoiding the search for outside attention.

Abstract: Considerando que las dimensiones de liderazgo de los enfermeros condicionan su estilo de gerencia, en el presente estudio se delimitó como problema: cuáles son los estilos dominantes y subdominantes del liderazgo del enfermero en el ejercicio de actividades de gerencia según su propia percepción? El objetivo fue identificar el estilo Grid que los enfermeros adoptan, según las dimensiones de liderazgo, iniciativa e investigación, en el cotidiano del trabajo de enfermería hospitalaria. Se trata de una investigación descriptiva y cuantitativa, realizada en el hospital de Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, siendo entrevistados 66 enfermeros, en el período de junio a julio de 2007. En la dimensión iniciativa se pudo constatar como estilos: 5.5 dominante y 9.9 subdominante. En la dimensión investigación, el 9.9 es dominante y el 1.1 es subdominante. Se concluye que el estilo 1.1, como subdominante del enfermero, revela que los sujetos tienden a acomodarse, idealizando un estilo de liderazgo 5.5 (Hombre Organizacional) según las necesidades del equipo de enfermería y los objetivos de la institución.

Abstract: Suponiendo que la comprensión del imaginario de ancianos acerca del envejecimiento propiciará conocimientos de enfermería sobre el proceso de cuidar a estos, se investigó mediante la sociopoética a los ancianos en Rio de Janeiro-Brasil, las posibilidades de innovación en esa práctica. Los resultados revelaron la existencia de dicotomías en lo imaginario del envejecimiento: el viejo versus el anciano; la aceptación versus la negación de la vejez, culminando en lo deseado versus lo no deseado en la vejez. Se concluyó que las personas, en el continuo de la vida, no quieren ser viejas (vivir lo indeseado con malestar), pero ellas quieren tornarse ancianas (envejecer con bienestar), lo cual permite comprender aquello que existe en el proceso de aceptación y de negación de la vejez. Esa evidencia estimula a la adopción de los conocimientos producidos en el cuidar/investigar sociopoético dirigido para la calidad de vida de los ancianos.
