Revista Electrónica de Investigación y Evaluación Educativa , 2006,
Abstract: This paper summarizes the results obtained from the evaluation of Occupational Training Programs through which we checked the quality of service and the efficiency of the introduction of women into the labour market, as well as the need to promote quality Occupational Training specifically for women that will not only facilitate their introduction into the labour market by adapting their personal skills to its needs, but will also encourage personal and social improvement..

Abstract: In the area of pedagogical training for university professors the new lectureship s training is a sector which is increasily having an own space, more and more important. In this paper, we show the specific programme of University Pedagogical Office of University of Valencia: the Initial Course for Lectureship, whose coordinators are the authors at the present time. Likewise we show a proposal of evaluation system for this course, which aspires to arrive at deep understanding of the programme and its development, in order to summarize and offer standards for its continuous improvement.
I. Chiva

Abstract: It is the privilege of the ethnologist to grasp more so than others, to which extent the body is unique by its functions and its diversity in that it offers, like from inside of ourselves, a framework and a language for expressing the most hidden and buried part of our thoughts, feelings and soul. But the body is also, and at the same time, a baseline and a language to express the part of ourselves which is the most enrooted in the culture, the most dependent on the social shaping of the indi...
Knowledge Transfer in Virtual Communities
Chiva Marilena PAPUC
Economia : Seria Management , 2012,
Abstract: Increasing development of information and communications technology, continuously transform how the world transmit, receive and manage information. Knowledge transfer switch from classic source - passive receiver to a more complex model, where each receiver can become a new source that regenerates and is thought to enhance the information received by adding its own added value and further resending it to an enhanced group of new receivers, often bigger than initial group. A current study performed jointly by State University of Milan and Facebook revealed that the degree of separation between any two people fell through six levels (as Stanley Milgram's theory, 1960) to less than four between Facebook users, shows that new patterns of social communication tend to transform humanity from a sum of individuals in a common consciousness, able to act in the common interest of humanity.

Abstract: objectives: proximal migration of stone fragments during ureteroscopic lithotripsy is a common problem influenced by pressure of irrigation solution, type of energy for lithotripsy, site and degree of fixation of the stone to the ureteral wall, and degree of proximal ureteral dilation. the stone cone tm (boston scientific & spencer) is a device that helps to prevent proximal migration of fragments and favours a safe extraction during ureteroscopic lithotripsy. technique: the stone cone tm is an helical device made of stainless steel and nitinol alloy, which consists of an internal guide wire and a sheath-like radiopaque catheter with a 3 fr. calibre. once the cone is placed above the stone it is maintained in that position during lithotripsy to avoid fragment migration. the external catheter is used to coil and unroll the cone, and allows access to place the cone above the stone. methods: we describe two cases of urinary calculi in the left lumbar ureter treated by ureteroscopy and intracorporeal lithotripsy with holmium yag laser using the stone cone tm to avoid migration of fragments. results: one month after surgery no lithiasic fragments were observed in the imaging tests. conclusions: the stone cone tm decreases the need to perform repeated ureteral instrumentations, and is also a safer and simpler method for the extraction of stone fragments. the use of stone cone tm seems to have more advantages than dormia‘s basket during ureteroscopic lithotripsy in terms of lower incidence of residual fragments and reoperation rate.
Intervención en Violencia de Género: Consideraciones en Torno al Tratamiento
Intervención Psicosocial , 2010,
Abstract: when considering a psychological intervention with a woman who has been a victim of gender violence, one must analyze which approach to take. here, we weigh up several factors that ground the intervention and make it meaningful, regardless of the theoretical framework of whoever is carrying out the intervention. we also analyze which elements of a gender violence victim?s background should be considered. so, instead of performing an undifferentiated intervention, we take each woman?s individuality into account and thus contribute more effectively to her recovery.
Aisthesis , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-71812011000100013
Abstract: in recent years we have had the opportunity to know different theories that certify the ?death of art? from different points of view. the question we would like to answer, paying attention to one of them, is whether these theories imply, at the same time, the loss of aesthetic autonomy. it is a crucial question because the issue of sovereignty is closely tied to the discipline since its birth, to the point that it is almost impossible to isolate the history of aesthetics from this redemptive narrative.
Copper in plants
Yruela, Inmaculada;
Brazilian Journal of Plant Physiology , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S1677-04202005000100012
Abstract: copper is an essential metal for normal plant growth and development, although it is also potentially toxic. copper participates in numerous physiological processes and is an essential cofactor for many metalloproteins, however, problems arise when excess copper is present in cells. excess copper inhibits plant growth and impairs important cellular processes (i.e., photosynthetic electron transport). since copper is both an essential cofactor and a toxic element, involving a complex network of metal trafficking pathways, different strategies have evolved in plants to appropriately regulate its homeostasis as a function of the environmental copper level. such strategies must prevent accumulation of the metal in the freely reactive form (metal detoxification pathways) and ensure proper delivery of this element to target metalloproteins. the mechanisms involved in the acquisition of this essential micronutrient have not been clearly defined although a number of genes have recently been identified which encode potential copper transporters. this review gives a briefly overview of the current understanding of the more important features concerning copper toxicity and tolerance in plants, and brings information of recent findings on copper trafficking including copper detoxification factors, copper transporters and copper chaperones.
La autorrepresentación del andaluz en web-series
Palabra Clave , 2012,
Abstract: this article is the result of a study on self-representation of the image ofandalusia and the andalusian people based on fictional production shown via the internet. the andalusian audiovisual scene has changed dramatically in the last two decades and the people of andalusia are beginning to tell their own stories. consequently, it is important to determine if the traditional stereotypes consolidated for centuries in literature and film are still being portrayed. with that objective in mind, the study uses a qualitative method that features a textual analysis based on the configuration of a series of variables representative of the stereotyped image of the andalusian people.
