Female Leaders’ Role Conflict and Its Balanced Solution  [PDF]
Huimin Zheng
Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2018.68018
Abstract: With the transformation of society and the improvement of occupational diversification, women’s awareness and the ability of political participation are constantly strengthening. The proportion of female leading cadres in China is also growing year by year; however, as far as the development of female leading cadres is concerned, women are still far behind men in terms of quantity and behavioral influence. The long-term status inequality has inhibited women’s instinct and desire to tap their own potential and the sense of social participation. The career development and life balance of female leaders under multiple role conflicts has become the confusion of most female leaders. Therefore, mastering the balance of female leadership role conflicts is of great significance for improving women’s leadership and creating a happy life.
Industrial Integration in Changchun and Jilin City Based on the Similar Coefficients of Industrial Structure  [PDF]
Huimin Sun, Jinling Wang
American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2013.32016

This paper primarily calculates the similar coefficients of the industrial structure in Changchun and Jilin City, the results show that the similarity of the three industries in the two cities is high, but the similarity of the subdivided manufacture industries is low. We also find evidence that the conditions for the industrial integration of the two cities are improved. The paper also explores the reasons for the current situation of the industrial integration in Changchun and Jilin city, then propose the measures to develop the industrial integration.

Testing Continuous-Time Interest Rate Model for Chinese Repo Market  [PDF]
Huimin Zhao, Fangping Peng
Journal of Mathematical Finance (JMF) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jmf.2015.51003
Abstract: This paper tests the popular continuous-time interest rate models for Chinese repo market to address what and how the interest rates change with the marketlization in China. Using Bandi [1]’s method, we get the functional nonparametric estimation of drift and diffusion terms and the local time of the process. We find that the interest rates of China during the period from 1993 to 2003 are bimodal distributed and propose a two-regime model which can fit the data better. We also study the probabilities that the process will stay the two regimes respectively and its transition probability that the process transfers from one regime to another regime.
A Comparative Study of Industrial Tourism of Cities in China  [PDF]
Huimin Wang, Yunxin Fu
Chinese Studies (ChnStd) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/chnstd.2019.81002
Abstract: With the increase of people’s income and the various demands for leisure, the preference of Chinese travelers has gradually shifted from traditional sightseeing to more distinctive forms of tourism. Industrial tourism, as one of the forms which curious tourists are fond of, has been rapidly developed throughout the country. Cities are the main carriers of industrialization, also are the important places for Industrial tourism. This paper selects Shanghai and Huangshi as sample cities for research, comparing the two cities and showing the difference between the development stages, development types and development models of industrial tourism in the two cities.
Asymptotic Behavior of the 3D Compressible Euler Equations with Nonlinear Damping and Slip Boundary Condition
Huimin Yu
Journal of Applied Mathematics , 2012, DOI: 10.1155/2012/584680
Abstract: The asymptotic behavior (as well as the global existence) of classical solutions to the 3D compressible Euler equations are considered. For polytropic perfect gas (()=0), time asymptotically, it has been proved by Pan and Zhao (2009) that linear damping and slip boundary effect make the density satisfying the porous medium equation and the momentum obeying the classical Darcy's law. In this paper, we use a more general method and extend this result to the 3D compressible Euler equations with nonlinear damping and a more general pressure term. Comparing with linear damping, nonlinear damping can be ignored under small initial data.

On the Soft Power of Sci-tech Culture and Paths to Improve It
Huimin YANG
Studies in Sociology of Science , 2011, DOI: 10.3968/2055
Abstract: As the deepening of economic globalization continuously strengthening the development of sci-tech globalization, international competition gradually evolves into the competition between sci-tech, while, the competition of the soft power of culture also turns into the competition of the soft power of sci-tech culture. There are still a lot of problems existing in the development of sci-tech culture. The basic paths of promoting soft power of sci-tech culture are : to formulate an effective sci-tech system, to devote major efforts to developing sci-tech; to enhance the whole level of the power of sci-tech in China; based on traditional culture, to promote the fusion between traditional culture and scientific culture, thus to establish a new cultural system leading by scientific culture; taking the scientific and cultural diffusion as the breakthrough, to strengthen the popularization of science, and to put forth effort to enhance the quality of the whole nationals on sci-tech. Key words: Soft power of sci-tech culture; Path to improve it
The Influence of SA8000 Standard on the Export Trade of China
Huimin Wang
Asian Social Science , 2009, DOI: 10.5539/ass.v4n1p116
Abstract: Following ISO9000 and ISO14000, SA8000 standard is now attracting international attention and it exerts influence on the export trade of China, particularly on the export trade of labor-intensive products. Because Chinese enterprises lack understanding of this standard and the importance attached to this standard in the government’s macro-administration is not sufficient, at this stage, only a small number of Chinese enterprises have passed the certification of SA8000. But in order to gain a trade environment of fair competition and at the same time to raise the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises, the government of China and Chinese enterprises shall treat this standard with active attitude and consider it to be the impetus to help enterprises to regulate their management, to improve their management levels and to become favorable enterprises.
A Multiple Model Prediction Algorithm for CNC Machine Wear PHM
Huimin Chen
International Journal of Prognostics and Health Management , 2011,
Abstract: The 2010 PHM data challenge focuses on the remaining useful life (RUL) estimation for cutters of a high speed CNC milling machine using measurements from dynamometer, accelerometer, and acoustic emission sensors. We present a multiple model approach for wear depth estimation of milling machine cutters using the provided data. The feature selection, initial wear estimation and multiple model fusion components of the proposed algorithm are explained in details and compared with several alternative methods using the training data. The final submission ranked #2 among professional and student participants and the method is applicable to other data driven PHM problems.
Computing Bisimulations for Finite-Control π-Calculus
Computing Bisimulations for Finite-Controlπ-Calculus

Lin Huimin,

计算机科学技术学报 , 2000,
Abstract: Symbolic bisimulation avoids the infinite branching problem caused by instantiating input names with all names in the standard definition of bisimulation in π-calculus. However, it does not automatically lead to an efficient algorithm, because symbolic bisimulation is indexed by conditions on names, and directly manipulating such conditions can be computationally costly. In this paper a new notion of bisimulation is introduced, in which the manipulation of maximally consistent conditions is replaced with a systematic employment of schematic names. It is shown that the new notion captures symbolic bisimulation in a precise sense. Based on the new definition an efficient algorithm, which instantiates input names “on-the-fly”, is presented to check bisimulations for finite-control π-calculus. Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. LIN Huimin, born in 1947, received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1986. He was elected a Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999. His research interests include concurrency, process algebra, model checking, real-time systems, verification algorithms and tools, formal method, program specification and validation, abstract data types.
