Abstract: With the transformation of society and the improvement of occupational diversification, women’s awareness and the ability of political participation are constantly strengthening. The proportion of female leading cadres in China is also growing year by year; however, as far as the development of female leading cadres is concerned, women are still far behind men in terms of quantity and behavioral influence. The long-term status inequality has inhibited women’s instinct and desire to tap their own potential and the sense of social participation. The career development and life balance of female leaders under multiple role conflicts has become the confusion of most female leaders. Therefore, mastering the balance of female leadership role conflicts is of great significance for improving women’s leadership and creating a happy life.
Hybrid plant regeneration from interfamilial somatic hybridization between grapevine (vitia vinifera L.) and Red Thorowax (Bupleurum scorzonerifolium willd)

Abstract: The protoplasts of Red Thorowax (Bupleurum scorzonerifolium) irradiated by ultraviolet light (UV) at an intensity of 260 μW/cm2 for 0, 1,2 and 3 min respectively were fused with that of grapevine (Vitia vinifera). The regenerated 19 clones, every one derived from a single fused cell, were identified as hybrids by phenotype, isozyme, chromosome and 5S rDNA spacer region analysis. The results reveal that all of them are somatic hybrids. 11 hybrid calli including asymmetric and symmetric products regenerated somatic embryos and young leaves after 5 months of culture, of which 4 hybrid cell lines derived from asymmetric fusion regenerated plants with roots after 8–10 months of culture. Inspection of chromosome showed that regeneration of whole plant was related to the decrease of chromosome number. Identification of 5S rDNA spacer region of the plants confirmed that they were interfamilial hybrid plants.
Experimental Studies on the Differentiation of Fibroblasts into Myoblasts induced by MyoD Genes in vitro

Abstract: To evaluate the biological functions of myogenic regulatory factors, we have examined the effects of ectopic expression of MyoD and Cx43 genes in the fibroblasts on the differentiation of myoblast in vitro. The expression of MyoD and Cx43 in the transfectants was confirmed by RT-PCR and Western blot. More than 50% of fibroblasts transfected with MyoD or both MyoD and Cx43 genes displayed typical morphological features of myoblast-like cells at 20 days following gene transfection, including cell elongation, cytoplasm enrichment and granule manifold. Moreover, these myoblast-like cells also expressed both desmin and α-actin. These results demonstrate that direct exogenous expression of the myogenic regulatory factors is sufficient to induce transdifferentiation of fibroblasts into a myoblast-like lineage and provide new insights into the trauma repair after myocardial infraction.
Land-Use Planning for Urban Sprawl Based on the CLUE-S Model: A Case Study of Guangzhou, China

Abstract: In recent years, changes in land use resulting from rapid urbanization or urban sprawl have brought about many negative effects to land ecosystems, and have led to entropy increases. This study introduces the novel ideas of a planning regulation coefficient for sustainable land-use planning in order to decrease entropy, combined with the CLUE-S model to predict land-use change. Three scenarios were designed as the basis for land-use projections for Guangzhou, China, in 2015, and the changes in the land ecological service function for each scenario were predicted. The results show that, although the current land-use plan is quite reasonable, it will be necessary to further strengthen the protection of farmland and important ecological service function areas.

Abstract: Inspired by the work of Feynman, Deutsch, We formally propose the theory of physical computability and accordingly, the physical complexity theory. To achieve this, a framework that can evaluate almost all forms of computation using various physical mechanisms is discussed. Here, we focus on using it to review the theory of Quantum Computation. As a preliminary study on more general problems, some examples of other physical mechanism are also given in this paper.
Dynamic control of defective gap mode through defect location

Abstract: A 1D model is developed for defective gap mode (DGM) with two types of boundary conditions: conducting mesh and conducting sleeve. For a periodically modulated system without defect, the normalized width of spectral gaps equals to the modulation factor, which is consistent with previous studies. For a periodic system with local defects introduced by the boundary conditions, it shows that the conducting-mesh-induced DGM is always well confined by spectral gaps while the conducting-sleeve-induced DGM is not. The defect location can be a useful tool to dynamically control the frequency and spatial periodicity of DGM inside spectral gaps. This controllability can be applied to optical microcavities and waveguides in photonic crystals and the interaction between gap eigenmodes and energetic particles in fusion plasmas.
Industrial Integration in Changchun and Jilin City Based on the Similar Coefficients of Industrial Structure  [PDF]

This paper primarily calculates the similar coefficients of the industrial structure in Changchun and Jilin City, the results show that the similarity of the three industries in the two cities is high, but the similarity of the subdivided manufacture industries is low. We also find evidence that the conditions for the industrial integration of the two cities are improved. The paper also explores the reasons for the current situation of the industrial integration in Changchun and Jilin city, then propose the measures to develop the industrial integration.

Testing Continuous-Time Interest Rate Model for Chinese Repo Market  [PDF]

Abstract: This paper tests the popular continuous-time interest rate models for Chinese repo market to address what and how the interest rates change with the marketlization in China. Using Bandi [1]’s method, we get the functional nonparametric estimation of drift and diffusion terms and the local time of the process. We find that the interest rates of China during the period from 1993 to 2003 are bimodal distributed and propose a two-regime model which can fit the data better. We also study the probabilities that the process will stay the two regimes respectively and its transition probability that the process transfers from one regime to another regime.

Abstract: With the increase of people’s income and the various demands for leisure, the preference of Chinese travelers has gradually shifted from traditional sightseeing to more distinctive forms of tourism. Industrial tourism, as one of the forms which curious tourists are fond of, has been rapidly developed throughout the country. Cities are the main carriers of industrialization, also are the important places for Industrial tourism. This paper selects Shanghai and Huangshi as sample cities for research, comparing the two cities and showing the difference between the development stages, development types and development models of industrial tourism in the two cities.
