 [PDF]

Open Journal of Social Sciences (JSS) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jss.2016.49017
Abstract: Land transfer is the important link to realize the agricultural modernization, new rural construction and urban-rural integration. This article analyzes the influence on peasant’ income caused by the land transfer pattern of “enterprise + peasant household” which is used by the leading enterprise—Rongzi chateau in Beiyuan, Xiangning, Shanxi province by means of questionnaire and interview. It finds that a large number of peasants come back to their rural areas and the contribution rate of per capita net income of crops planting accounts for as high as 71.52% of per capita net total income after they have joined in this land transfer. This is of great significance to balance urban and rural development and to construct a new socialist countryside. The paper will discover the land transfer patterns that are suitable for the remote rural areas in China, which will be combined with some typical land transfer patterns in developed areas in China and based on the respects for peasants’ will and rights, aimed at making contribution to the new socialist countryside construction and the perfection of Chinese Rural Land System.
Upregulated expression of Annexin II is a prognostic marker for patients with gastric cancer
Qi Zhang, Zaiyuan Ye, Qiong Yang, Xujun He, Huiju Wang, Zhongsheng Zhao
World Journal of Surgical Oncology , 2012, DOI: 10.1186/1477-7819-10-103
Abstract: Real-time PCR was conducted to detect annexin II and S100A6 mRNA expression. Protein expressions of annexin II and S100A6 were also examined by immunohistochemistry in 436 clinicopathologically characterized gastric cancer cases. The expression of annexin II and S100A6 mRNA differ significantly among gastric tumor tissue and matched non-cancerous gastric mucosa. Protein levels of annexin II and S100A6 were up-regulated in gastric cancer compared with adjacent non-cancerous tissues. High expression of annexin II correlated with age, location of tumor, size of tumor, differentiation, histological type, depth of invasion, vessel invasion, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis and Tumor, Node, Metastasis (TNM) stage, and also with expression of S100A6. Further multivariate analysis suggested that expression of annexin II and S100A6 were independent prognostic indicators for gastric cancer.Cumulative five-year survival rates of patients with high expression of both annexin II and S100A6 was significantly lower than those with low expression of both.Expression of annexin II in gastric cancer was significantly associated with depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, TNM stage, high S100A6 expression, and poor prognosis. Annexin II and S100A6 proteins could be useful prognostic marker to predict tumor progression and prognosis in gastric cancer.
Cold-State Investigation on a Flame Holder  [PDF]
Yiqing Du
Journal of Power and Energy Engineering (JPEE) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jpee.2013.17008
Abstract:

Slitty bluff body is widely used as a high-performance flame holder in power industry. To understand the flame stability mechanism, the evolution of the near wake over a slitty bluff body in cold state was numerically investigated using the renormalization group (RNG) k-ε model at Reynolds number of 470,000. The coherent structure of the near wake was identified by the vortex shedding simulation. To explain the vortex shedding, a mechanism that single vortex of large size suddenly immerses two shear layers was proposed. To quantitatively compare the near wakes at different gap ratio, a vortex shedding character dimension was first proposed. This character dimension has positive correlation with flame stability. Particle-image velocimetry (PIV) measurements in a close wind tunnel were also carried out to confirm the observation from the numerical study. The evidence shows that the numerical results are of good agreement with the cold-state experiments.

Applied Mathematics (AM) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/am.2014.53037
Abstract:

Mixed monotone operator is an important nonlinear operator. It exists extensively in the research of nonlinear differential and integral equations. Generally, the research of mixed monotone operators in partially ordered Banach spaces requires compactness, continuity or concavity-convexity of the operators. In this paper, without any compact and continuous assumption, we obtain some new existence and uniqueness theorems of positive fixed point of e-concave-convex mixed monotone operators in Banach spaces partially ordered by a cone, which extends the existing corresponding results.

The Evolutionary Road: The Common Goal of Human as a Species  [PDF]
Dongdong Du
Open Journal of Philosophy (OJPP) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ojpp.2018.85033
Abstract: This paper puts forward the idea of the right, evolution road of all mankind, and emphasizes that it should be regarded as the common purpose of human beings from the view of human evolution. Also from the point of philosophical, it is clarifying the concept of human path, emphasizing the individual and its existence, openness and humanity based on human nature (human emotion, love, care); the rational (thinking, reason) based on reason, experience, learning and research; and two goals: utilitarian and efficiency, the evolutionary of human beings. In the end, from the view of the question they focused on, attribution, solution and attitude towards human nature, it distinguishes the concept between “the evolutionary road of human beings” and “Noble Eightfold Path” to alert people that development, progress, evolutionary path of human is unparalleled and it is the right way for mankind. Purpose: The combination of reason and human nature, so as to enhancing human efficiency, meeting human needs, and ultimately promoting people into the correct, evolutionary path. Method: Descriptive thinking can be used.

Abstract: Two-dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method (FEM) was used for simulation of the effect of process parameters on the static recrystallization of 60SiMnA spring steel using MARC/AutoForge 3.1 software. A thermo-mechanical coupled analysis was conducted considering the heat transfer between the workpiece, the roll and the environment, and the heat generation due to plastic work. The static recrystallization laws under different processing conditions and the predicted distribution of the static recrystallization volume fraction on the deformation cross section are presented.
Governance-Management-Performance (GMP) Framework: A Fundamental Thinking for Improving the Management Performance of Public Projects  [PDF]
Yaling Du, Yilin Yin
iBusiness (IB) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/ib.2010.23036
Abstract: Public projects play an active role in the development of economy. However, public project management performance (PPMP) is not very satisfying and urgent to be improved, especially in China which is in its flourishing period of public project investment and construction nowadays. The purpose of this paper is to propose and theoretically test a fundamental thinking for the government to improve PPMP. In this study, project management (PM) and project governance (PG) are identified to be the controllable factors which affect PPMP greatly through a thorough literature review. In order to bring PG, PM and PPMP into a whole system, SCP paradigm is applied properly to the agency industry of public project and, as a result, GMP framework for the analysis of public project is presented through exhaustive ratiocination. Subsequently, GMP framework is broken down into three parts and each part is testified theoretically to ensure the reliability of GMP framework. The findings indicate that there are two approaches to improve PPMP, i.e. PG and PM, and PG seems to be more effective in China due to its vast development space.
