Abstract: Results on common fixed points of mappings in cone metric spaces under weak contractive conditions (B. S. Choudhury and N. Metiya (2010)) are unified and generalized. Also, cone metric versions of some other related results on weak contractions are proved. Examples show that our results are different than the existing ones.

Abstract: We establish a composition theorem of Stepanov almost periodic functions, and, with its help, a composition theorem of Stepanov-like pseudo almost periodic functions is obtained. In addition, we apply our composition theorem to study the existence and uniqueness of pseudo-almost periodic solutions to a class of abstract semilinear evolution equation in a Banach space. Our results complement a recent work due to Diagana (2008).

Abstract: This paper is concerned with some nonlinear delay integral equations arising in an epidemic problem. We establish a new existence and uniqueness theorem about positive almost automorphic solutions for delay integral equations. Our theorem is a generalizations of some known results. An example is given to illustrate our results.

Abstract: We investigate the following nonlinear equations with -Laplacian-like operators : some criteria to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions of the above equation are given by using Mawhin's continuation theorem. Our results are new and extend some recent results due to Liu (B. Liu, Existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions for a kind of Lienard type -Laplacian equation, Nonlinear Analysis TMA, 69, 724–729, 2008).

Exponential convergence of solutions of SICNNs with mixed delays

Abstract: In this paper, we discuss shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks (SICNNs) with mixed delays and time-varying coefficients. We establish conditions for all solutions of SICNNs to converge exponentially to zero. Our theorem improve some known results and allow for more general activation functions.
