Creative Education (CE) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ce.2018.97075
Abstract: The teaching concept of “flipped classroom” has gained wide attention in the field of education in recent years. At present, the researches in music class focus on music theory, and there is few in piano collective teaching. Nowadays, most of the music courses teaching (except piano, vocal music) is the same as other subjects. The traditional teaching mode of “teachers teach knowledge in class and students complete homework after class” has been used. The biggest problem of this traditional music education model is that students have poor learning initiative, the teaching process is rigid and teaching effect is poor. The flipped classroom encourages students to study by themselves before class and complete the task list according to the teacher’s guidance. In addition, there are many students in the major courses of professional theory, and it is too difficult for teachers to make corresponding teaching arrangements for each student’s situation. For which, teachers can only take care of the students of moderate degree in the class that constitute the majority of the class. For those students who learn fast and slow, it is often difficult to take care of them. As a result, the teaching effect is not satisfactory. With the wide application of electronic technology in colleges or universities classrooms, the teaching mode of “flipped classroom” is gradually cultivated. It has received extensive attention from education field both at home and abroad. This article analyzes the present situation of piano collective teaching in colleges and universities, the science and superiority of flipped classroom, and problems and obstacles that could possibly occur, then puts forward some measures to use the “flipped classroom” method.

Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2018.63045
Children’s health has always been a concern, under the background of a new wave of entrepreneurship, this paper uses China health and nutrition survey (CHNS) data, selects the age of the child height ratio (HAZ) score to measure children’s health, the OLS regression model, the treatment effect model and tendency to score matching (PSM), and other methods to investigate the influence of parents entrepreneurship for children’s health. The study found that at least one parent business, under the condition of children’s health is relatively low, the result is in step with the result of whether parents start a business. In addition, there are gender differences in children’s health; only children are in better health. The health endowment of parents also has an impact on children’s health. This article from the perspective of parents entrepreneurship researches entrepreneurship influence on children’s health, there are two main mechanisms, the first is money: it brings the income that is beneficial to children’s health; this article examines the entrepreneurship that can bring income premium; estimation results show that the venture has a significant positive effect on monthly income. The second is time: entrepreneurship to reduce the harm to children’s health care time; estimation results show that the entrepreneurial significantly reduces the time for children’s care; two mechanisms are negative; there is a relation of offsetting each other; parents start-ups do significantly reduce the children’s health level.

Hui Wang, Yanmei Zhen
Open Journal of Modern Linguistics (OJML) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ojml.2014.41005

This paper, based on field observations, briefly unveils the problems in communicative language teaching classes. It has been observed that many of the classroom presentations are not in accord with the principles stated in the communicative language teaching approach (CLT). It boils down to two reasons: misconcepts of language teaching; misunderstanding of CLT principles. And possible solutions are presented in this paper, hoping that it will be more practical and beneficial for foreign language teaching in the Chinese context.

A Comparative Reading of Sejanus and Cato  [PDF]
Hui Guo, Qing Wang
Advances in Literary Study (ALS) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/als.2015.32007
Abstract: It seems that William Shakespeare’s Macbeth bears more similarities to Ben Jonson’s Sejanus. However, the two tragedies are even more different than Joseph Addison’s Cato and Jonson’s Sejanus as in Macbeth witchcraft and violent murder are involved. And Macbeth’s wife is even more vicious than the protagonist. Undeniably, there are more differences between Ben Jonson’s Sejanus and Joseph Addison’s Cato. The themes are different as Jonson’s Sejanus focuses on the protagonist’s conspiracy to the emperor Tiberius while Addison’s Cato praises the hero’s nobility and wisdom, though both die in the end of the tragedies. Triangular love is woven and being one of the main themes in Cato while adultery takes a small portion in Sejanus. Despite of the differences in these two tragedies, and the fact that the two dramatists belong to different eras, there are five main similarities between them: both tragedies being entitled with their protagonists’ names and setting in the ancient Rome, traitor ministers and conspiracy taking great proportion in the plots, the falls of the traitors in both tragedies, and the conflicts between the noble and evil parties. One can hardly fail to observe the judgments of the heroes by the characters within the tragedies. These similarities between the themes and structures of the plots lead to the similarities between the portrayals of the characters. Both Sejanus and Cato are heroic plays and political tragedies of Rome. The textual comparison between these two tragedies reveals an obvious influence of Jonson to Addison, who is also creative and develops this type of tragedy with the plot of triangular love.

Xiaoguang Wang, Hui Wang, Yongbin Wang
Intelligent Information Management (IIM) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/iim.2010.27049
Abstract: Distributed computing is a field of computer science that studies distributed systems. With the increasing computing capacity of computers it is widely used to solve large problems. Monitoring system is one of the key components in distributed computing. Although there have been varieties of monitoring systems developed by different organizations, it is still a great challenge to monitor a heterogeneous distributed environment in a unified and transparent way. In this paper, we present a unified monitoring framework for distributed environment (UMFDE) with heterogeneous monitoring systems, and then propose a comprehensive method based on the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to integrate the monitoring systems in the environment as a unified monitoring system. A representative case study is given to show the feasibility of this framework.
Opposition-Based Barebones Particle Swarm for Constrained Nonlinear Optimization Problems
Hui Wang
Mathematical Problems in Engineering , 2012, DOI: 10.1155/2012/761708
Abstract: This paper presents a modified barebones particle swarm optimization (OBPSO) to solve constrained nonlinear optimization problems. The proposed approach OBPSO combines barebones particle swarm optimization (BPSO) and opposition-based learning (OBL) to improve the quality of solutions. A novel boundary search strategy is used to approach the boundary between the feasible and infeasible search region. Moreover, an adaptive penalty method is employed to handle constraints. To verify the performance of OBPSO, a set of well-known constrained benchmark functions is used in the experiments. Simulation results show that our approach achieves a promising performance.

Abstract: In the asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cu(C19H20N2O4)(H2O)], there are two independent mononuclear CuII complexes. The coordination environment of each CuII ion is square-pyramidal completed by two N atoms and two O atoms forming the basal plane, and one O atom of the water molecule occupying the apical position. Neighbouring complexes are connected via O—H...O hydrogen bonds between the water molecule and the methoxy group, forming a chain structure along the a axis. The propylene groups of the two independent complexes are disordered over two positions with site occupancies of 0.361 (7):0.639 (7) and 0.224 (8):0.776 (8). The crystal under investigation was a partial inversion twin.
