Abstract: Increasing growth of communication industries and informatics, cause the world is facing with a new revolution. Revolution of information and communication technologies in all sectors of the economy, society, politic and security of countries has left a significant effect. One of the most important application areas of information technology is the field of health and treatment. Hospital information system is the first and most important system of health care delivery. Hospital information systems are the computer systems that are easy to manage medicine and hospital management information and are designed to improve health care. Investigations have shown that using a hospital information system caused to improve quality of health care and increase satisfaction of clients. Some problems of the health care system are distribution of patients’ information and Lack of access to their records, Weak cooperation between physicians and health care workers, and also weakness of access to necessary medical information. These problems are solvable through the development of information technology and especially hospital (Health) information systems. This paper studies the hospital information systems, implementation of these systems and their role in the development of medical and health services.

Webology , 2007,
Abstract: Location-based web searching is one of the popular tasks expected from the search engines. A location-based query consists of a topic and a reference location. Unlike general web search, in location-based search it is expected to find and rank documents which are not only related to the query topic but also geographically related to the location which the query is associated with. There are several issues for developing effective geographic search engines and so far, no global location-based search engine has been reported. Location ambiguity, lack of geographic information on web pages, language-based and country-dependent addressing styles, and multiple locations related to a single web resource are notable difficulties. Search engine companies have started to develop and offer location-based services. However, they are still geographically limited and have not become as successful and popular as general search engines. This paper reviews the architecture and tasks of location-based search engines and compares the capabilities, functionalities and coverage of the current geographic search engines with a user-oriented approach.

Journal of Tehran University Heart Center , 2007,
Abstract: Background: This study was designed to examine a unique and low dose use of intravenous enoxaparin in elective percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) that would be applicable to an unselected population regardless of age, weight, and renal function. There is limited experience in anticoagulation using intravenous low-molecular-weight heparin in PCI. Methods: A total of 100 consecutive patients undergoing elective PCI were treated with a single IV bolus of enoxaparin (0.5mg/kg) in group A of patients (n=50) or with unfractionated heparin in group B of patients (n=50). Sheaths were removed immediately after the procedure in patients treated with enoxaparin and some hours later in those treated with unfractionated heparin. Results: In group A, ACT was 124.6±9.3 before PCI and 149.2±17.1 after that (P<0.05). In group B, one patient (2.9%) developed groin hematoma. No deaths, MI, or urgent target vessel revascularization were reported. Conclusion: Low- dose (0.5 mg/kg) IV enoxaparin allows a target level of anticoagulation in patients undergoing PCI, appears to be safe and effective, allows immediate sheath removal, and does not require dose adjustment.

Journal of Tehran University Heart Center , 2009,
Abstract: Coronary artery perforation is a rare, but potentially serious, complication of percutaneous coronary intervention and is associated with a high incidence of death, Q-wave myocardial infarction, and emergency coronary bypass surgery. Management is different but requires prompt recognition and treatment. We describe a case of coronary perforation only after guidewire removal and also review the management of vessel rupture and perforation.

Journal of Tehran University Heart Center , 2009,
Abstract: Severe coronary artery disease often coexists with peripheral vascular atherosclerosis. The assessment of the supra-aortic circulation is, therefore, of clinical relevance. We herein describe a case of coronary artery disease treated with surgical revascularization using the internal mammary artery and thereafter the progressive atherosclerotic disease of the native coronary arteries as well as the left subclavian and left renal arteries. We also describe and discuss the clinical presentation, the diagnostic procedures, and the therapeutic approach with respect to the percutaneous transluminal angioplasty of the subclavian, renal, and right coronary arteries.

Knowledge & Health Journal , 2008,
Abstract: Introduction: The balanced nutritional diet and intake of milk and dairy products is one of the main determinants of child health and their success in school. This study was undertaken to determine the effect of education on KAP of middle school girls about milk and dairy products. Methods and Materials: This quasi experimental study was carried out on 106 second grade middle school students which were matched by parent education level, job and family size. Subjects were divided to case (group two classes with 52 students) and control (group two classes with 54 students) randomly. Data were collected with a questionnaire which was included four parts: demographic questions and questions regard knowledge, attitude and practice of students about milk and dairy products. In the pretest both group completed the questionnaire. According to the results an educational interventional program were designed and implemented for case group. After two months post test were carried out. Data were analyzed by SPSS soft ware and suitable tests such as paired t-test were used as well. Results: The paired t–test showed a significant increase in scores of knowledge, attitude and practice of case group after intervention (P= 0.000). But increase in scores of their practice was not significant (P= 0.06). There was no significant increase in scores of attitude (P= 0.11) and practice (P= 0.68) of control group and the score of their knowledge was increased significantly (P= 0.000). However the difference between increase scores in case and control groups was significant (P= 0.000). Conclusion: According to the results education has a positive effect on KAP of middle school girls about intake of milk and dairy products and due to low KAP scores of students, seams mass health education should be provided for all students.

Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2013.42038

I investigate the ferromagnetic phase transition inside strong quark matter (SQM) with one gluon exchange interaction between strong quarks. I use a variational method and the Landau-Fermi liquid theory and obtain the thermodynamics quantities of SQM. In the low temperature limit, the equation of state (EOS) and critical exponents for the second-order phase transition (ferromagnetic phase transition) in SQM are analytically calculated. The results are in agreement with the Ginzberg-Landau theory.

Abstract: Background There is evidence that opium addiction has immunosuppressant effects. Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a condition resulted from atherosclerosis which is dependent on the immune response. Purpose To evaluate plasma levels of interleukin-6 and interleukin-1Ra in 30 patients with three-vessel coronary artery disease, ejection fraction of more than 35% and to evaluate their changes after prognostic treadmill test in 15 opium addicted and 15 non-addicted patients. Methods The participants underwent prognostic treadmill test and plasma levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-1Ra (IL-1Ra) were evaluated with ELISA method before, just after and 4 hours after the test. Results IL-1Ra (2183 pg/ml) tended to decrease over time in the opium addicted group (1372 pg/ml after prognostic treadmill test and 1034 pg/ml 4 hours after that), although such decrease did not reach the statistical significance. IL-1Ra levels were significantly higher in opium addicted than in non addicted patients. Opium addiction had no significant effect on IL-6 changes. Conclusion Consumption of opium in CAD patients is associated with higher IL-1Ra levels.

Business Intelligence Journal , 2012,
Abstract: This study compared the long-term and short-term relationship between GDP, export and investment during the years 1991-2008. Results show there exist a positive and significant long term relationship between investment and export with gross domestic production at 95% confidence level. But the relationship of investment and export is negative. Analysis of the vector error correction model for GDP indicates an error correction coefficient is negative which due to the high value of the GDP in the short run than long-term equilibrium value. In the short term, impact of investment and exports on GDP are positive. Effect of domestic production on investment is positive, but on export is negative.

Optics and Photonics Journal (OPJ) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/opj.2011.12012
Abstract: The optical properties of SrHfO3,were studied by first principle using the density functional theory. The dielectric functions and optical constants are calculated using the full potential–linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) method with the generalized gradient approximation(GGA)by Wien2k package. The theoretical calculated optical properties and energy loss(EEL)spectrum yield a static refractive index of1. 924and a Plasmon energy of 27eVfor cubic phase. The complex dielectric functions are calculated which are in good agreement with the available experimental results.
