Experimental Research on Spontaneous Combustion Tendency of High Volatile Blended Coals  [PDF]

Abstract:
Experiment of oxidation characteristics with slow velocity of high volatile blended coals was investigated in the surroundings of low oxygen conditions, which gives three kinetic factors in the step of low temperature through the methods of thermo gravimetric analysis, the Coats-Redfern integration and Achar-Brindley-Sharp-Wendworth. The results of calculation show that activation energy and pre-exponential factor increase with the reaction process, and tendency of spontaneous combustion of the blended coal have changed. The experimental results show that the type of absorbing oxygen is mainly physical adsorption and calorific value is very small during increasing weight. Volatile of blended coal releases before single coal and combustion temperature of blended coal is between one and other single coals. If the oxygen content is below 16% in the milling system, explosion-proof effect on high volatile blended coal can be obtained.

Abstract: In this paper, the principle of denoising with wavelet transform are discussed. The application of wavelet threshold denoising method in MCG-signal processing problem is introduced. Program is written by MATLAB to realize wavelet threshold denoising method. The results show that the wavelet threshold denoising method in the MCG-signal denoising can not only restrain the noise effectively, but also reserve the fault character information in the original signal. The signals by this method are better improvements than traditional method.

Abstract: The method of box dimension is used in this paper for calculating the fractal dimension of the fuel air explosive( FAE) explosive images. The relationship between fractal dimension and the expansion law of fireball is discussed. The change of explosion image fractal dimension all the time is studied, and its change law is inferred, with the reason analyzed, which lays the foundation for the further study of explosive process.

Abstract: The profilogram of FAE (fuel-air explosive) fuel explosion image is the important base to analyze the explosion process. In this article, the double peak method, the iteration method, the OTSU method, and the maximum entropy criterion method are respectively used to confirm the threshold, and extract and compare the profilograms of the FAE fuel explosion image, which could establish the base for the further experiment analysis.

Abstract: Because of the impacts from the road conditions and the hostile attacking, the military logistics distribution in wartime should consider the pressure degrees of various demand points to the materials, so it is much more complex than the common logistics. Aiming at the actual situation of the military logistics distribution in wartime, the basic ant colony algorithm is improved in the article, and the software of MATLAB is used to simulate the improved algorithm. The result indicates that the algorithm possesses higher solving efficiency, and can fulfill the requirement of the route optimization of the military logistics distribution in wartime.
Single-Channel Compressive Sensing for DOA Estimation via Sensing Model Optimization  [PDF]

Abstract:
The performance of multi-channel Compressive Sensing (CS)-based Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm degrades when the gains between Radio Frequency (RF) channels are inconsistent, and when target angle information mismatches with system sensing model. To solve these problems, a novel single-channel CS-based DOA estimation algorithm via sensing model optimization is proposed. Firstly, a DOA sparse sensing model using single-channel array considering the sensing model mismatch is established. Secondly, a new single-channel CS-based DOA estimation algorithm is presented. The basic idea behind the proposed algorithm is to iteratively solve two CS optimizations with respect to target angle information vector and sensing model quantization error vector, respectively. In addition, it avoids the loss of DOA estimation performance caused by the inconsistent gain between RF channels. Finally, simulation results are presented to verify the efficacy of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract:

Multiple state-of-the-art techniques, such as multi-dimensional micro-imaging, fast multi-channel micro-spetrophoto-metry, and dynamic micro-imaging analysis, were used to dynamically investigate various effects of cell under the 900MHzelectromagnetic radiation. Cell changes in shape, size under different power density electromagnetic waves radiation were presented in this paper. Experimental results indicated that the isolated human red blood cells (RBCs) do not have obviously real-time responses to the ultra-low density (15 μW/cm2, 31 μW/cm2) electromagnetic wave radiation when the radiation time is not more than 30 minutes; however, the cells do have significant reactions in shape, size to the electromagnetic waves radiation with power densities of 1 mW/cm2and 5 mW/cm2. The data reveals the possible influences and statistical relationships among living human cell functions, radiation amount and exposure time with high-frequency electromagnetic waves. The results of this study may be significant on protection of human being and other living organisms against possible radiation affections of the high-frequency electromagnetic waves.
