Abstract: Background. Eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis (EAF) is a rare benign condition of unknown aetiology that causes stenosis of the upper respiratory tract. It is most commonly found at the nasal septum and sinus mucosa causing mucosal thickening and nasal obstructive symptoms. The diagnosis is mainly based on characteristic histologic findings. Case Report. A 27-year-old young woman presented with a slow growing mass at her anterior nasal septum for over eight years. She complained of persistent nasal obstruction, epistaxis, sometimes diffused facial pain, and chronic headache. 3 years ago, the tumor was partially resected for ventilation and a nasal septum perforation was left. Imaging findings indicated soft-tissue thickening of the anterior part of septum and adjacent lateral nasal walls. Pathological examination showed numerous inflammatory cells infiltrates containing eosinophils, fibroinflammatory lesion with a whorled appearance fibrosis which typically surrounded vessels. A diagnosis of eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis was made. All laboratory tests were unremarkable. Skin prick test was positive. The tumor-like lesion was totally resected. Conclusions. EAF is a rare benign and progressive disorder causing destruction. Combined with radiological imaging of EAF historical findings contribute to the diagnosis. It is important to prevent tumor from recurrence by total resection of the lesion. 1. Introduction Eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis (EAF) is a rare, benign condition of unknown aetiology which may cause local tissue progressive destruction [1]. It mainly involves the sinonasal tract and is especially common at the nasal septum. EAF typically presents in young to middle-aged females. Most of the patients complain of progressive sinonasal obstructive with a tumor-like lesion. The etiology of EAF is unknown, and the diagnosis is mainly based on histologic findings. The histologic features include perivascular inflammatory cell infiltration (mainly eosinophils). The eosinophils infiltration is gradually replaced by the progressive fibrosis lesion with “onion-skin” pattern around small blood vessels [1–6]. It was first described by Holmes and Panje in 1983 who reported a case of so-called ‘‘intranasal granuloma faciale” [7]. After two years, Roberts and McCann reported two female patients with an unusual stenosing lesion involving the upper respiratory. They gave a descriptive diagnosis according to the histologic findings: eosinophilic angiocentric fibrosis [8]. Until now, 51 patients diagnosed with EAF have been reported in the English

Abstract: Joint decisions in production allocation and ordering policies for single and multiple products in a production-distribution network system consisting of multiple plants are discussed, production capacity constraints of multi-plants and unit production capacity for producing a product are considered. Based on the average total cost in unit time, the decisive model is established. It tries to determine the production cycle length, delivery frequency in a cycle from the warehouse to the retailer and the economic production allocation. The approach hinges on providing an optimized solution to the joint decision model through the heuristics methods. The heuristic algorithms are proposed to solve the single-product joint decision model and the multi-products decision problem. Simulations on different sizes of problems have shown that the heuristics is effective, and in general more effective than Quasi-Newton method (QNM).

Core-Germplasm Construction of Rosa rugosa Collections by CDDP Molecular Markers  [PDF]

Abstract: A method for constructing core-germplasm of Rosa rugosa in China based on molecular marker data was probed and the optimum core germplasm was established. Studies were initiated to analyze the genetic diversity of 120 rugged roses from 6 different Chinese source populations based on CDDP marker, and a preliminary construction of the core collection was established using stepwise UPGMA clustering sampling method. The 26 core collection resources of R. rugosa collections in China have 20% germplasm samples of initial collection, the retention ratio of polymorphic loci, effective number of alleles (Ne), Nei’s genetic diversity (H) and Shannon information index (I) were respectively 97.52%, 104.16%, 108.38% and 106.18%. The results of t-test showed that no significant difference was found in genetic diversity indexes between the core collection and the original collection. These results also demonstrated that the core collection could stand for original collection excellently. The results show that CDDP molecular technology can be successfully applied to the construction of core germplasm resources of rugged roses.
Blow-Up Criteria for Three-Dimensional Boussinesq Equations in Triebel-Lizorkin Spaces

Abstract: We establish a new blow-up criteria for solution of the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations in Triebel-Lizorkin spaces by using Littlewood-Paley decomposition. 1. Introduction and Main Results In this paper, we consider the regularity of the following three-dimensional incompressible Boussinesq equations: where denotes the fluid velocity vector field, is the scalar pressure, is the scalar temperature, is the constant kinematic viscosity, is the thermal diffusivity, and , while and are the given initial velocity and initial temperature, respectively, with . Boussinesq systems are widely used to model the dynamics of the ocean or the atmosphere. They arise from the density-dependent fluid equations by using the so-called Boussinesq approximation which consists in neglecting the density dependence in all the terms but the one involving the gravity. This approximation can be justified from compressible fluid equations by a simultaneous low Mach number/Froude number limit; we refer to [1] for a rigorous justification. It is well known that the question of global existence or finite-time blow-up of smooth solutions for the 3D incompressible Boussinesq equations. This challenging problem has attracted significant attention. Therefore, it is interesting to study the blow-up criterion of the solutions for system (1.1). Recently, Fan and Zhou [2] and Ishimura and Morimoto [3] proved the following blow-up criterion, respectively: Subsequently, Qiu et al. [4] obtained Serrin-type regularity condition for the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations under the incompressibility condition. Furthermore, Xu et al. [5] obtained the similar regularity criteria of smooth solution for the 3D Boussinesq equations in the Morrey-Campanato space. Our purpose in this paper is to establish a blow-up criteria of smooth solution for the three-dimensional Boussinesq equations under the incompressibility condition in Triebel-Lizorkin spaces. Now we state our main results as follows. Theorem 1.1. Let , be the smooth solution to the problem (1.1) with the initial data for . Abstract: In the title molecule, [Fe(C5H5)(C16H12N)], the cyclopentadienyl rings are approximately eclipsed and the interplanar angle is 0.8 (7)°. The Fe atom is slightly closer to the substituted cyclopentadienyl ring, with an Fe...centroid distance of 1.639 (2) , compared with 1.645 (2) for the unsubstituted ring. The C=N double bond is essentially coplanar with the substituted cyclopentadienyl ring with a deviation of 10.3 (1)°.
