BAP31 is frequently overexpressed in patients with primary colorectal cancer and correlates with better prognosis

Abstract: We previously showed that B cell receptor associated protein 31(BAP31) was significantly upregulated in colorectal cancer compared with normal mucosa epithelia. However, its expression pattern and pathological role in colorectal cancer are not clearly understood. In this study, we investigated whether the expression of BAP31 was associated with the clinicopathological parameters of colorectal cancer. The expression pattern of BAP31 was detected by immunohistochemistry on a tissue microarray in both primary tumor and paired distant normal mucosa samples from 120 consecutive colorectal cancer patients. Furthermore, BAP31 protein expression was also determined in twenty colorectal adenomas and eight liver metastasis samples. There was positive expression of BAP31 in 64.17% of primary tumors and 6.67% in distant normal mucosa (P=0.000). Negative expression of BAP31 was correlated with distant metastasis (P=0.036) and lower tumor differentiation grade (P=0.001). Patients with BAP31-negative expression showed significantly lower overall survival rate (P=0.003) compared to patients with BAP31-positive expression. Our results demonstrate that BAP31 may serve as a candidate prognostic marker in colorectal cancer and negative BAP31 expression may lead to more aggressive invasion of colorectal cancer.

Abstract: Based on monthly data and VAR models from March 2002 to December 2015, this paper studies the interaction between international commodity price and China’s demand. The results show that the impact of China’s demand can to a certain extent guide the fluctuation of commodity prices, while this impact is insignificant. Over time, the shock of commodity prices has exerted an increasingly effect on the changes in China’s demand. In the context of the drastic drop of commodity prices and the slowdown of international economic growth, China should pay close attention to other factors that affect the volatility of commodity prices, such as speculative investment factors, the monetary policy of the world’s major economies and take full advantage of today’s low commodity prices and take muscular internationalization approach to buying important commodities cheaply for eventual global market improvement and selling on the macroeconomic trendlines.

Abstract: We introduce the concept of -weakly commuting self-mapping pairs in -metric space. Using this concept, we establish a new common fixed point theorem of Altman integral type for six self-mappings in the framework of complete -metric space. An example is provided to support our result. The results obtained in this paper differ from the recent relative results in the literature.

Abstract: Large solar proton events (SPEs) affect the solar-terrestrial space environment and become a very important aspect in space weather research. In this work, we statistically investigate 78 solar proton events of 1996-2011 and find that there exists a longitudinally asymmetric distribution of flare sources of the solar proton events observed near 1 AU, namely, with the same longitude separation between magnetic field line footpoint of observer and flare sources, the number of the solar proton events originating from sources located at eastern side of the nominal magnetic footpoint of observer is much larger than that of the solar proton events originating from sources located at western side. A complete model calculation of solar energetic particle (SEP) propagation in the three-dimensional Parker interplanetary magnetic field is presented to give a numerical explanation for this longitudinally asymmetric distribution phenomenon. We find that the longitudinally asymmetric distribution of solar proton events results from the east-west azimuthal asymmetry in the topology of the Parker interplanetary magnetic field as well as the effects of perpendicular diffusion on the transport of SEPs in the heliosphere. Our results would be valuable in understanding the solar-terrestrial relations and useful in space weather forecasting.

Abstract: The model AC=BD is presented, which can be applied to mechanical equations-solving and theorem-proving.First, it is proved that for an uniformizable operator D, there exists an operator B such that AC=BD if C Ker D \subset Ker A.By using division with remainder, an approach to compute the C-D pair is given for a given operator A such that AC=BD, which can be applied to solve operator equations.Hence some complex equations can be reduced to the simple ones.Then in terms of dual operators, an approach to reduce nonlinear and noncommutative operator systems to a single equation is given.Finally, by use of the methods of solving equations,we present a model need to produce and prove theorems mechanically is presented, and some examples are listed.

Abstract:

A grid-connected inverter controlling method to analyze dynamic process of large-scale and grid-connected photovoltaic power station is proposed. The reference values of control variables are composed of maximum power which is the output of the photovoltaic array of the photovoltaic power plant, and power factor specified by dispatching, the control strategy of dynamic feedback linearization is adopted. Nonlinear decoupling controller is designed for realizing decoupling control of active and reactive power. The cascade PI regulation is proposed to avoid inaccurate parameter estimation which generates the system static error. Simulation is carried out based on the simplified power system with large-scale photovoltaic plant modelling, and the power factor, solar radiation strength, and bus fault are considered for the further research. It’s demonstrated that the parameter adjustment of PI controller is simple and convenient, dynamic response of system is transient, and the stability of the inverter control is verified.

In the “two sessions”, the strategy was again emphasized that the implementation of the strategy for the revitalization of rural areas relates to whether or not the rural economy can recover from decline to full development. It is of great significance to build the “Chinese dream”. Therefore, it explores the ways to achieve full rejuvenation in rural areas and analyzes possible problems and solutions in the implementation of strategies.
