Abstract: 为研究出生前后不同时期全氟辛烷磺酸(PFOS)暴露对大鼠仔鼠额叶皮质胰岛素样生长因子-Ⅰ(IGF-Ⅰ)、胰岛素样生长因子-Ⅰ受体(IGF-ⅠR)和胰岛素样生长因子结合蛋白-2(IGFBP-2) mRNA水平的影响, 将28只受孕Wistar大鼠按3:2:2的比例随机分到对照(C)、低剂量(L)和高剂量(H)组中, 从妊娠第0天开始分别自由摄食含0、7.2、14.4mg·kg-1(以饲料中的PFOS计)的粉末状饲料进行连续染毒至出生后28天. 采用交叉哺育的方法建立出生前后均不暴露(CC)、仅出生前暴露(LC和HC)、仅出生后暴露(CL和CH)、出生前后均暴露(LL和HH)于PFOS的动物模型. 采用半定量RT-PCR法检测各组仔鼠额叶皮质IGF-Ⅰ、IGF-ⅠR和IGFBP-2 mRNA水平的变化. 结果表明,对照组仔鼠额叶皮质IGF-Ⅰ、IGFBP-2 mRNA在PD14时处于较高水平, 而在PD1和PD28时水平较低; IGF-ⅠR mRNA在PD1时只处于较低水平, 随年龄的增加而逐渐升高. 在PD1时, 暴露组仔鼠IGF-Ⅰ、IGF-ⅠR、IGFBP-2 mRNA水平显著高于对照组(p<0.05). 在PD14时, 除LC组仔鼠IGF-ⅠR mRNA水平显著高于对照组之外, 其余各暴露组仔鼠3者mRNA水平均显著低于对照组(p<0.01). 此外, 出生后暴露PFOS组的仔鼠额叶皮质IGF-Ⅰ、IGFBP-2 mRNA水平降低程度比出生前暴露PFOS组仔鼠更高. 在PD28时, 暴露组仔鼠IGF-Ⅰ、IGF-ⅠR mRNA水平显著低于对照组(p<0.01), 而IGFBP-2 mRNA水平与对照组之间的差异无显著性(p>0.05). 出生前后不同时期暴露PFOS导致大鼠仔鼠额叶皮质IGF-Ⅰ、IGF-ⅠR和IGFBP-2 mRNA水平变化, 为PFOS发育神经毒性的研究提供了一定的线索.
A Comparison between Two Heterodyne Light Sources Using Different Electro-Optic Modulators for Optical Temperature Measurements at Visible Wavelengths

Abstract: In this paper we have successfully demonstrated a z-propagating Zn-indiffused lithium niobate electro-optic modulator used for optical heterodyne interferometry. Compared to a commercial buck-type electro-optic modulator, the proposed waveguide-type modulator has a lower driving voltage and smaller phase variation while measuring visible wavelengths of 532 nm and 632.8 nm. We also demonstrate an optical temperature measurement system using a homemade modulator. The results show that the measurement sensitivities are almost the same values of 25 deg/°C for both the homemade and the buck-type modulators for a sensing light with a wavelength of 632.8 nm. Because photorefractive impacts are essential in the buck-type modulator at a wavelength of 532 nm, it is difficult to obtain reliable phase measurements, whereas the stable phase operation of the homemade one allows the measurement sensitivity to be improved up to 30 deg/°C with the best measurement resolution at about 0.07 °C for 532 nm.

Backward wave propagation in anisotropic metamaterials

Abstract: In this paper, we study the backward wave propagation phenomenon in completely anisotropic metamaterials. The formation conditions for backward wave propagation under an arbitrary angle between the metamaterials' intrinsic coordinate axis and transmission axis are obtained. The influences of permittivity and permeability tensors and polarization on the backward wave formation and propagation are analyzed. On this basis, we further analyze the situation of backward wave in anisotropic metamaterials with different dispersion relations, and the angle between wave vector and Poynting vector, and the general conclusion of backward wave propagation are obtained. In addition, we studied the propagation characteristics of backward wave in epsilon-near-zero metamaterials, and discovered that the backward wave in these metamaterials is a perfect backward wave.

Abstract: In this paper we consider the high-tech equipment import market in a developing country. We discuss the behaviors of the foreign supplier, the domestic user, the new domestic supplier, and the role that the government can play in such a bi-oligopoly market. We apply both non-cooperative and cooperative game theory to analyze the market, and conduct comparative static and dynamic analysis on the equilibrium outcomes. We point out that government’s intervention may accelerate the market structure evolution and may improve the welfare outcome.
An Analysis of Water Environment Factors and an Evaluation of Water Quantity of Liangzi Lake  [PDF]

The experiments of single factor evaluation method, principal component analysis and voronoi area weighting factor method on the sample data of Liangzi Lake in October 2012 combined with the national surface water environment quality standards can get the map of comprehensive water quality distribution by Kriging interpolation. The analysis shows, the grades of comprehensive water quality gained by three methods are all only class III or class IV, and the quality of water is different from east and west that the water quality of east is better. However, the percent of IV class water is higher in the result of single factor evaluation method means class IV is the main grade of water quality. The result of principal component analysis shows the percent of class water is higher than other classes. The result of voronoi area weighting factor method shows the percent of IV class is higher than other classes. CODMn is the main factor that influences the method of singal factor evaluation and reduces the grade of water quality overall. The effect of single factor is reduced by principal component analysis, and the analysis on water quality is more accurate. The voronoi area weighing factor method reduces the effect of single factor and extends the content, can make a comprehensive evaluation on water quality.

RFID Complex Event Processing: Applications in Real-Time Locating System  [PDF]

Abstract: Complex event processing (CEP) can extract meaningful events for real-time locating system (RTLS) applications. To identify complex event accurately in RTLS, we propose a new RFID complex event processing method GEEP, which is based on the timed automata (TA) theory. By devising RFID locating application into complex events, we model the timing diagram of RFID data streams based on the TA. We optimize the constraint of the event streams and propose a novel method to derive the constraint between objects, as well as the constraint between object and location. Experiments prove the proposed method reduces the cost of RFID complex event processing, and improves the efficiency of the RTLS.
Design of a fault diagnosis scheme for a class of singular nonlinear systems

Abstract: A new fault detection and diagnosis approach is developed in this paper for a class of singular nonlinear systems via the use of adaptive updating rules. Both detection and diagnostic observers are established, where Lyapunov stability theory is used to obtain the required adaptive tuning rules for the estimation of the process faults. This has led to stable observation error systems for both fault detection and diagnosis. A simulated numerical example is included to demonstrate the use of the proposed approach and encouraging results have been obtained.
