Relatórios de Pesquisa em Engenharia de Produ??o , 2012,
Abstract: This article aims to analyze the stakeholders associated with the creation of a risk map. Thus, looking tocollaborate in developing a communication plan taking into account the concept of triple bottom line -TBL well equate to sustainable ways of inferring a better management of stakeholders, identifyingapproaches inside and outside of this process within the company. In this sense, the methodologicalaspect search, using the array importance vs. performance, identify key stakeholders and position them asthe participation in the drafting of the risk map. Results are indicated for the direct and indirect impacts,the main strengths and weaknesses of each of the stakeholders in the social aspect of the construction ofthe risk map with respect to prevention practices and company policy suggestions to management.

Surgical Science (SS) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/ss.2015.610065
Abstract: Background: We were reporting three cases of Situs Inversus in morbidly obese patients that were submitted a laparoscopic gastric bypass (LGBP). The condition itself was not a serious hazard to normal, healthy patients but, may cause difficulties in the diagnosis and management of abdominal pathology. The incidence of surgical disease did not seem to be different as in the general population, but its presentation, diagnosis and the operative procedure were. This was particularly true for laparoscopic surgery. Methods: From January 1999 to June 2015, 3047 morbidly obese patients underwent. Three patients with Situs Inverse (SI), two of the three with Situs Inversus Totalis (SIT), and one with Situs Inversus Parcialis (SIP) were submitted to a laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass with no major difficulties. The mean age was 45 years (39 - 49), BMI 37.7 kg/m2, two of the above patients were female. Results: The LGBP was completed successfully in two of the three patients with SI. The mean duration of surgery was a 167 minutes, ranging from 110 - 210 minutes. The hospital stay was 5 days (3 - 8). Conclusions: The benefits of surgery were evident, even in the patients with SI; as there was no need for ICU admission and patients had an early hospital discharge. Morbidly obese patients with SI might be submitted to LGBP. This procedure was feasible and safe when the diagnosis was pre-operatively confirmed, and the surgical team made proper adjustments.

Abstract: objective: to demonstrate the clinical results of triple arthrodesis in cerebral palsy patients and determine whether there is any correspondence between the results and the aofas scale, and changes in radiographic angles between the pre- and postoperative periods. methods: between 1985 and 2005, thirty-four patients (40 feet) were submitted to triple arthrodesis of the foot, with an average follow-up time of ninety-one months. the evaluation consisted of the patient's satisfaction and the presence of pain, plantigrade support, residual deformity, range of movement of the ankle, and the aofas. radiographs were made of the foot and ankle to assess the presence of ankle arthrosis, pseudarthrosis of the joints, and measurements of the following angles: talocalcaneal, talur-first metatarsal and tibiotalar, and talocalcaneal and calcaneal pitch. results: the results were good in 32.4% of cases, regular in 44.1%, satisfactory in 85.3% and 88.2% had plantigrade support. with the aofas scale, the results were good in 33.3% and regular in 24.2%. in the radiogra-phic assessment, the ap talar-first metatarsal angle showed an average improvement of 15o, the lat calcaneous pitch improved by 7o. the talocalcaneal angles, both ap and lat, improved in 1o. conclusions: this study concluded that the triple arthrodesis corrects or improves these deformities; the patient showed a high level of satisfaction, most of them with a plantigrade foot. the aofas scale had low correlation with the result. the talur-first metatarsal and calcaneal pitch were the most sensitive in the evaluation of the surgical procedure.

Abstract: an evaluation of the genotoxicity of domestic sewage was carried out in a municipal wastewater treatment plant. the study was carried out using allium cepa root tip cells through cytological parameters such as aberrant cells in anaphase-telophase and the mitotic index, and the fish species oreochromis niloticus and tilapia rendalli, through the index of micronuclei in peripheral erythrocytes. in the allium test, each of the four stages of the wasterwater treatment routine was analyzed, i.e., crude sewage, primary effluent, secondary effluent, and tertiary effluent. o. niloticus and t. rendalli specimens were maintained in an aquarium continuously receiving the final effluent, in an open system, before being discharged into lake paranoá. for micronuclei analysis, blood samples were drawn after 7, 21, 60, 102 and 142 days, respectively, in controlled conditions. the numbers of aberrant cells found in the allium test did not differ among the four stages tested, nor when compared with the control. at all stages, the most concentrated sample was more toxic than the respective diluted samples, as demonstrated by the decreased mitotic index. different sampling of the same group of fish revealed no increase in the micronuclei frequency, regardless of the period of exposure. a correlation between long-term exposure and micronuclei induction was not found either.
Notícias de uma investiga??o autobiográfica: o consumo de drogas como dilema moral
Tinoco,Rui;
Sociologia, Problemas e Práticas , 2007,
Abstract: this work tries to summarize some of the main findings of a research that we conduct between the years of 2001 and 2004. the research pretends to articulate a biographic approach, that allow to see the deviant act as something that develop during a life history; and the neutralization techniques that allow a detailed analysis of which moment. in this way we can detect the main neutralizations (and neutralizations are specific of deviant rationalizations) more important in every moment of the life histories recollected of heroin consumers.
Psicoterapia na idade adulta avan?ada
Rebelo,Helder;
Análise Psicológica , 2007,
Abstract: the geriatric population represents an important group of patients that seek the health services. besides the organic complaints, the inherent psychosocial factors of aging are also constituted as theme that structures many requests of help. the psychologists that work in the contexts of health receive, more and more, requests of senior adults that are confronted with serious difficulties in this stage of the vital cycle. this way, we accomplished a revision of the literature of the main models of psychotherapy intervention for customers in the old adult age.

Abstract: background: aerobic exercise is an important ally in the fight against cardiovascular risk factors. however, the effects of high-intensity exercise on these factors are still poorly known. objective: to compare the effects of aerobic and anaerobic exercise protocols on cardiac risk factors. methods: 22 individuals with mean age of 40±8 years were distributed into the following groups: control (co), endurance training (et) and interval training (it). the protocols lasted 12 weeks, three times a week, with intensities of 10% below and 20% above the anaerobic threshold (ant). the following measurements were taken: total body mass (tbm), body mass index (bmi), waist circumference (wc), hip circumference (hc), and body composition, in addition to plasma concentrations of glucose (glu), total cholesterol (cho), and triglycerides (tg). waist-hip ratio (whr) and conicity index (c index) were also calculated. results: the tbm, bmi, wc, glu, and body composition variables showed significant changes in the et and it groups. cho and hc values were significantly reduced in the et group, whereas whr showed a significant reduction in the it group. ant and c index in the it group were significantly different in relation to et. conclusion: in view of the differences found in the results of the variables studied in relation to the training performed, we conclude that an exercise program that includes both high and low-intensity activities is more efficient to ensure the reduction of a greater number of cardiac risk variables.
