Abstract:
Inventory control is a key factor for reducing supply chain cost and increasing customer satisfaction. However, prediction of inventory level is a challenging task for managers. As one of the widely used techniques for inventory control, standard BP neural network has such problems as low convergence rate and poor prediction accuracy. Aiming at these problems, a new fast convergent BP neural network model for predicting inventory level is developed in this paper. By adding an error offset, this paper deduces the new chain propagation rule and the new weight formula. This paper also applies the improved BP neural network model to predict the inventory level of an automotive parts company. The results show that the improved algorithm not only significantly exceeds the standard algorithm but also outperforms some other improved BP algorithms both on convergence rate and prediction accuracy. 1. Introduction Inventory control is one of the key topics for supply chain management. Usually inventory takes the form of raw material, work in process (WIP) products, semifinished products, or finished products. Inventory cost is the main cost for supply chain management. A drop of just several percentage points of inventory cost can greatly increase the profits of the whole supply chain. In addition, sound inventory level can prevent shortage of material, maintain the continuity of the production process, and quickly satisfy customers' demand. Thereby, exploring the optimal inventory level is very necessary and valuable for supply chain management. To date, the following inventory control problems need to be addressed [1, 2].(1)There are highly nonlinear models which are hard to process.(2)There are qualitative indicators which are hard to deal with.(3)The unchangeable indicators of inventory control lack self-adaptation.(4)Information of inventory control models is always indirect and the collection of information is time-consuming and of low efficiency.(5)Inventory control models always ignore the influence of uncertain factors, such as lead time, transportation conditions, and change of demand. Considering the above problems, traditional inventory control theory is hard to meet the requirement posed by the new environment. Thanks to the uncertain feature of inventory control and the strengths of neural network in model prediction, this paper chooses to use BP neural network to establish inventory model and predict inventory level. Abstract:
Based on some recent progress on a relation between four dimensional super Yang-Mills gauge theory and quantum integrable system, we study the asymptotic spectrum of the quantum mechanical problems described by the Mathieu equation and the Lam\'{e} equation. The large momentum asymptotic expansion of the eigenvalue is related to the instanton partition function of supersymmetric gauge theories which can be evaluated by a combinatorial method. The electro-magnetic duality of gauge theory indicates that in the parameter space there are three asymptotic expansions for the eigenvalue, we confirm this fact by performing the WKB analysis in each asymptotic expansion region. The results presented here give some new perspective on the Floquet theory about periodic differential equation.

Abstract:
We revise some aspects of the asymptotic solution for the eigenvalues for Schr\"odinger operators with periodic potential, from the perspective of the Floquet theory. In the context of classical Floquet theory, when the periodic potential can be treated as small perturbation we give a new method to compute the asymptotic spectrum. For elliptic potentials a generalized Floquet theory is needed. In order to produce other asymptotic solutions consistent with known results, new relations for the Floquet exponent and the monodromy of wave function are proposed. Many Schr\"odinger equations of this type, such as the Hill's equation and the ellipsoidal wave equation, etc., can be treated by this method.

Abstract:
We investigate the relation between the four dimensional N=2 SU(2) super Yang-Mills theory with four fundamental flavors and the quantum mechanics model with Treibich-Verdier potential described by the Heun equation in the elliptic form. We study the precise correspondence of quantities in the gauge theory and the quantum mechanics model. An iterative method is used to obtain the asymptotic expansion of the spectrum for the Schr\"{o}dinger operator, we are able to fix the precise relation between the energy spectrum and the instanton partition function of the gauge theory. We also study asymptotic expansions for the spectrum which correspond to the strong coupling regions of the Seiberg-Witten theory.

Abstract:
In this paper, we investigate the order algebraic structure in the category of sheaves on a given locale $X$. Since every localic topos has a generating set formed by its subterminal objects, we define a "point" of a partially ordered sheaf to be a morphism from a subterminal sheaf to the partially ordered sheaf. Using the concept of "points," we investigate the completeness of posheaves systemically. Some internal characterizations of complete partially ordered sheaves and frame sheaves are given. We also give an explicit description of the construction of associated sheaf locales and show directly that the category $Sh(X)$ of sheaves on a locale $X$ is equivalent to the slice category $LH/X$ of locales and local homeomorphisms over $X$. Applying this equivalence, we give characterizations of partially ordered sheaves and complete partially ordered sheaves in terms of sheaf locale respectively. This paper is a continuation of our paper [1]. In this paper, we first introduce the concept of directed complete partially ordered sheaves (shortly dcposheaves) on a given locale. some internal characterizations of dcposheaves and meet continuous dcposheaves are given respectively. We also give characterizations of continuous posheaves and completely distributive posheaves, and show that an algebraic completely distributive posheaf is spatial.

Abstract:
The reliability of facility location problems has been received wide attention for several decades. Researchers formulate varied models to optimize the reliability of location decisions. But the most of such studies are not practical since the models are too ideal. In this paper, based on the classical uncapacitated fixed-charge location problem (UFLP) and some supply constraints from the reality, we distinguish deterministic facility failure and stochastic facility failure cases to formulate models to measure the reliability of a system. The computational results and reliability envelopes for a specific example are also given.

Abstract:
This paper will build up a model about the dynamic relationship between scientific innovation and economic growth in Beijing, with VAR model (Vector Autoregressive Model), and choose the quantity of patent applications, sum of business transactions in the market of technologies and the foreign direct investment as its indicators of science and technology output, GDP as its indicator of economic growth, which finally uses variance decomposition analysis. The research shows that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between scientific innovation and economic growth, and both have interactivity which means that scientific innovation promotes economic growth and economic growth boosts the scientific innovation.
