Abstract: 螺旋MRI的原始数据是在不均匀的k-空间螺旋轨迹上采样得到的,需要通过网格化算法等手段将数据变成等间距的网格数据后,才能采用FFT进行重建,最后得到供临床使用的图像.本文对Jackson网格化算法和Claudia大矩阵算法的重建速度和图像结果进行了比较,并得出以下结论1)在获得相近图像质量的情况下,Claudia大矩阵重采样算法比Jack-son算法要快且更方便在仪器上实现.2)在Jackson双倍细网格算法的实现方式中,数据驱动插值比网格驱动插值更有效率.3)在Claudia大矩阵重采样算法中,对冗余比大于310∶1的数据进行图像重建的时候,网格点的幅值不平均化比平均化后的效果还要好.这几个结论都将有利于MRI图像重建技术的进一步提高.
Market Powers Predict Reciprocal Grooming in Golden Snub-Nosed Monkeys (Rhinopithecus roxellana)

Abstract: Social grooming is a common form of affiliative behavior in primates. Biological market theory suggests that grooming can be traded either for grooming or other social commodities and services. When no other services are exchanged, grooming is predicted to be approximately reciprocated within a dyad. In contrast, the amount of reciprocal grooming should decrease as other offered services increase. We studied grooming patterns between polygamous male and female in golden snub-nosed monkeys (Rhinopithecus roxellana) from the Qinling Mountains of central China and found that about 29.7% of grooming bouts were reciprocated. However, the durations of grooming bouts offered and returned was asymmetrical within dyads. In bisexual dyads, more grooming was initiated by females than males, which became more pronounced as the number of females per one-male unit increased. The rate of copulation per day for each female was positively correlated with the total duration of grooming time females invested in males.. Females without an infant (non-mothers) directed more grooming towards females with an infant (mothers) and were significantly more likely to be non-reciprocated. There was a significant negative relationship between non-mother and mother grooming duration and the rate of infants per female in each one-male unit. High-ranking females also received more grooming from low-ranking females than vice versa. The rate of food-related aggressive interactions was per day for low-ranking females was negatively correlated with the duration of grooming that low-ranking females gave to high-ranking females. Our results showed that grooming reciprocation in R. roxellana was discrepancy. This investment-reciprocity rate could be explained by the exchange of other social services in lieu of grooming.
The Use of Camera Traps to Identify the Set of Scavengers Preying on the Carcass of a Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana)

Abstract: There exists very limited information on the set of scavengers that feed on the carcasses of wild primates. Here, we describe, based on information collected using a remote camera trap, carnivores consuming/scavenging the carcass of a wild golden snub-nosed monkey (Rhinopithecus roxellana) in the Laohegou Nature Reserve, Sichuan, China. During a 3 month behavioral and ecology study of a band of golden snub-nosed monkeys (March through May 2013), we encountered the carcass of an adult male (male golden snub-nosed monkeys weigh approximately 12–16 kg). After examining the dead monkey, we returned it to the death site and set out a camera trap to record the behavior and identity of scavengers. Over the course of 25 days, we collected 4145 photographs taken by the camera trap. Scavengers identified from these photographs include a masked civet (Paguma larvata), Asiatic black bear (Ursus thibetanus), large-billed crow (Corvus macrorhynchos) and the chestnut rat (Rattus fulvescens). No member of the golden snub-nosed monkey's social group, which was composed of approximately 120 individuals, was found to return to the general area of the death site. The masked civet fed principally on the face and intestines of the corpse at night, while the black bear consumed most of the body of the dead monkey during both the daytime and nighttime. These two taxa consumed virtually the entire carcass in one week. We suggest that the use of camera traps offers a powerful research tool to identify the scavenger community of a given ecosystem.

Abstract: Based on self-developed high-voltage/high-frequency pulse AC power and high-voltage/industrial frequency power,the comparison experiments were carried out with the aging oil and ordinary crude oil from Zhongyuan oilfield to study the dehydration performance,and the impacts of frequency,voltage,aging oil content,water content on demulsification efficiency were examined.The results showed that increasing the frequency appropriately was conducive to aging oil demulsification,compared with 500 Hz,the dehydration efficiency of electric field of 1500 Hz was improved by 10.3% averagely,the maximum was 35.0%,the result of high frequency was much better than industrial frequency.Increasing the intensity of electric field appropriately was also conducive to aging oil demulsification,compared with 1 kV,the dehydration efficiency of electric field of 4 kV was improved by 40.6% averagely,the maximum was 81.1%.

Abstract: 利用2008年春季中美沙尘暴联合观测试验中张掖观测站的积分浑浊度仪及同期常规气象资料, 分析了有、 无沙尘天气下气溶胶总散射系数(550 nm)及后向散射比的日变化特征, 讨论了一次典型的沙尘暴过程中气溶胶的散射特性。结果表明, 在这两种天气状况下, 总散射系数日变化都呈双峰型, 但峰值大小和出现的时间不同。无沙尘日的气溶胶细粒子所占比例的变化较为明显, 日较差比有沙尘日的大。沙尘暴发生时, 气溶胶总散射系数有明显的突变, 积分浊度仪是对沙尘气溶胶连续监测的有效的工具。
A Novel Compact UWB Textile Button Antenna

Abstract: A novel compact textile antenna with the appearance of a button on clothing for body-centric wireless communications systems (BWCS) is presented. The antenna is placed on a textile substrate and fed by a coaxial line through the ground plane. The operating bandwidth of the antenna has met the requirement of the UWB communication system. The effects of the human body on and are presented and discussed in detail. The proposed antenna has good omni-directional radiation patterns and stable -plane radiation patterns. The measured results show that the antenna is suitable for BWCS.
Gene expression profile analysis of tobacco leaf trichomes

Abstract: We have characterized Nicotiana tabacum leaf trichome gene expression using two approaches. In the first, a trichome cDNA library was randomly sequenced, and 2831 unique genes were obtained. The most highly abundant transcript was ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase (RuBisCO). Among the related sequences, most encoded enzymes involved in primary metabolism. Secondary metabolism related genes, such as isoprenoid and flavonoid biosynthesis-related, were also identified. In the second approach, a cDNA microarray prepared from these 2831 clones was used to compare gene expression levels in trichome and leaf. There were 438 differentially expressed genes between trichome and leaves-minus-trichomes. Of these, 207 highly expressed genes in tobacco trichomes were enriched in second metabolic processes, defense responses, and the metabolism regulation categories. The expression of selected unigenes was confirmed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis, some of which were specifically expressed in trichomes.The expression feature of leaf trichomes in Nicotiana tabacum indicates their metabolic activity and potential importance in stress resistance. Sequences predominantly expressed in trichomes will facilitate gene-mining and metabolism control of plant trichome.Many terrestrial plants are covered with uni- or multi-cellular epidermal appendages called trichomes. Plant trichomes frequently function as the first line of defense against biotic and abiotic stresses by space hindrance [1]. Some plant species bear glandular trichomes that secrete a series of lipophilic substances and proteins, and are distinguished for their medicinal, culinary, fragrant and insecticidal properties. Functional genomic approaches are now emerging as powerful tools that can accelerate our understanding of trichomes. Abstract: An extensive literature review has led to a compilation of 196 human centromere/kinetochore proteins, all with experimental evidence supporting the subcellular localization. Sixty-four were designated as “core” centromere/kinetochore components based on peak expression and/or well-characterized functions during mitosis. By interrogating and integrating online resources, we have mined for genes/proteins that display transcriptional co-expression or PPI with the core centromere/kinetochore components. Top-ranked hubs in either co-expression or PPI network are not only enriched with known mitosis regulators, but also contain candidates whose mitotic functions are not yet established. Experimental validation found that KIAA1377 is a novel centrosomal protein that also associates with microtubules and midbody; while TRIP13 is a novel kinetochore protein and directly interacts with mitotic checkpoint silencing protein p31comet.Transcriptional co-expression and PPI network analyses with known human centromere/kinetochore proteins as a query group help identify novel potential mitosis regulators.
