Abstract: Genetic structure of seven populations in Larix kaempferi in Japan was studied by use of cpSSR markers. Ten different length fragments in and ten different kinds of haplotypes were reduced in 197 samples based on 3 pairs of polymorphic primers screened from 11 pairs of primers. There were significant variant haplotypes among the populations. The genetic variation in the populations of Larix kaempferi was detected by using cpSSR with the number of average loci A=3.33, the number of average efficient loci NE=1.20, gene diversity HE=0.17 and 5.37% variation from different populations. The genetic variation was mainly from individuals in population.

Abstract: This paper gives a general statement about the present development of chilling-resistant mechanisms of plants at home and abroad, and it deals mainly with the relations between the chilling-resistance of plants and cell membrane system,enzyme system diverisity and chilling-resistant gene expression and control. In addition, the paper points out some problems worth delibrating deeply in the research field of plant chilling-resistance.

Abstract: This study analyzed five varieties of P. tomentosa and their putative parents, P. alba, P. davidiana, P. adenopoda and P. tremula by RAPD and artificial cross. Of 78 bands revealed by 13 arbitrary primers selected, 58(74.36%) bands were polymorphic among P. tomentosa and four putative parents. The RAPD statistical results showed the relationship between P. tomentosa and P. alba or P. adenopoda was closer than that between P. tomentosa and'P. davidiana or P. tremula . There were higher similarity and lower genetic distance between P. tomentosa and P. alba or P. adenopoda than that between P. tomentosa and the other two putative parents. The results from UPGMA, Fitch-margoliash phylogenetic dendrogram were similar. In addition, artificial hybrids including reciprocal cross between P. alba and P. adenopoda were used to compare with five varieties of P. tomentosa . And those hybrids between P. alba as female and P. adenopoda as male were closer to P. tomentosa than those from reciprocal cross. The results demonstrated that P. tomentosa was a natural hybrid between P. alba as female parent and P. adenopoda as male parent.

Abstract: Considerable knowledge about the biology of forest tree has been gained in the recent years by the application of the new genomic technologies to study tree growth and development as well as the response of trees to biotic and abiotic stresses. Proteomics is becoming an important content in the biology of forest tree. A review is given about the progress in forest tree proteomics research in the areas of population genetics, genetic mapping, stress physiology, organs and tissues, and wood formation, etc. Furthermore, forest tree proteome database is briefly introduced. Finally, the prospect of proteomics is discussed.

Abstract: Comparative genomics is one of the important research fields in genomics. By comparative genomic studies it was possible to establish a giant genetic system beyond one species which might be significant to tree. Comparative ge- nomics in Salicaceae, Pinaceae, Rosaceae, Fagaceae and Hamamelidaceae had shown that the organization of genomes remained highly conserved over long evolutionary periods and extensive synteny or collinarity or microcollinarity existed in tree genomes. A total of 13 019 pairs of orthologs were identified between genes in Populus and Arabidopsis using the best bidirectional Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) hits, with an average mutual coverage of these alignments equal to 93%; 11 654 pairs of orthologs had greater than 90% alignment of gene lengths. The progress of comparative genomics in tree species was reviewed and the prospect of this field was discussed, which might be useful to tree genomics in China.

Abstract: 忽地笑Raised Secondary Lateral Veins(RSLV)突变体平行脉间横向二级侧脉显著凸起,生长不良,雄蕊完全退化。本研究利用表达型噬菌体载体ZAP构建了野生型和突变体忽地笑叶片cDNA文库,分别随机挑取cDNA克隆进行5′端测序,共得到3,122条有效ESTs。利用这些ESTs序列,选择非冗余基因,设计512条70mer的特异性序列为寡核苷酸探针,制作芯片,对忽地笑野生型和突变体叶器官进行基因表达谱分析。进一步采用实时定量PCR技术验证芯片实验结果,最终确定所检测的基因中,有5个基因在突变型和野生型间表达差异显著,分别是韧皮部蛋白2(phloem protein2,PP2)、铁蛋白(ferritin)、果胶甲酯酶(pectin methyl esterases,PMEs),以及叶绿素a/b结合蛋白和丙酮酸脱羧酶等。克隆获得了其全长cDNA,并探讨了这些差异基因与忽地笑突变型形成的可能关系。

Abstract: The composition of molecular species and the positional distribution of fatty acids of phosphatidylglycerol (PG) isolated from Ginkgo leaf were examined and analyzed by high-perfor-mance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and enzymic hydrolysis. The fatty acid compositions (sn-1/ sn-2) of the identified major mglecular species were 18:3/16: 1(30,18:3/16:0,18:2/16: 1(3t),18:2/16:0,18:1/16: 1(3t,16:0/16:1 (3t), 18: 1/18: 1,18:1/16:0 and 16:0/16:0. The results showed that C18 fatty acids were principally localized at the sn-1 position, the component 16:1 (3t exclusively occupied the sn-2 position and 16:0 was found at both the sn-1 position and the sn-2 positon. The degree of unsaturation at the sn-1 postion was higher than that at the sn-2 positon.

Abstract: 木本植物有许多不同于一年生草本植物的生物学特性,生物学家提出将木本植物 作为研究多年生植物的模式体系。杨属Populus树种由于研究基础较好且基因组较小,目前已 被广泛地接受作为多年生植物基因组研究的模式物种。随着杨属树种全基因组序列的测定, 杨属树种在多年生植物的功能基因组研究及一些基础科学问题的研究中将发挥重要作用。本 文综述了杨属树种基因组研究的历史、进展及将来的研究热点,旨在为我国多年生植物基因 组研究提供参考和借鉴。本文主要论述了以下几个方面的内容:(1)对杨属树种开展的细胞 遗传学研究;(2)在分子水平上对杨属树种进行的基因组研究,内容包括遗传作图、基因组 测序、物理图谱构建、基因芯片及连锁不平衡分析;(3)杨属树种基因组信息在探讨一些基 础科学问题中的潜在应用。
