Electrical Properties of CuO―doped SrFe0.9Sn0.1O3― δ Thick Film NTC Thermistors

Abstract: CuO―doped SrFe0.9Sn0.1O3― δ (CSFS) thick―film negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistors ( 20mol%, 30mol%, 40mol%, 50mol% ) were prepared by the screen printing method. The microstructures and electrical prop erties of CSFS thick films were determined. With the increase of CuO content, the surface morphology of thick films becomes denser. The room―temperature resistance values gradually decreases to about 0.46 M Ω and the thermistor― constant values are basically constant at around 3300 K. After the addition of CuO, SrFe0.9Sn0.1O3― δ is decomposed into various SrFe1― xSn xO3― δ ( 0.1< x<1 ) phases. By two― RQ series equivalent circuit model, impedance characteristics of the thick film containing 40mol% CuO content are investigated over the measured temperature range of 25–250 It is found that the total thick―film resistance is mainly attributed to the contribution of grain and grain boundary resistances, both of which show the typical NTC thermistor characteristics. Furthermore, the complete match of peak frequencies between the imaginary parts of impedance and electric modulus suggests that delocalized conduction is the main conduction mechanism in the thick―film NTC thermistors.
Electrical properties and impedance analysis of Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3 ceramic

Abstract: 以传统的固相反应法制备了Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3陶瓷,并采用X射线衍射仪、扫描电子显微镜、直流阻温测试仪和交流阻抗分析仪测试了Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3陶瓷的微结构和电性能.分析结果表明:Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3陶瓷具有立方钙钛矿结构,颗粒尺寸约1.0μm;在16—280℃范围内,Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3陶瓷表现出明显的负温度系数热敏效应,其热敏常数、活化能分别为6490K及0.558eV;介电温谱揭示,在280℃下Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3陶瓷材料没有出现相变行为.对于交流阻抗谱,采用3个串联的RQ(R与Q为并联)等效部件来拟合分析,拟合结果表明拟合数据与实验数据高度匹配,且这3个等效部件分别代表晶界、晶粒和晶壳的贡献.3个部件中,晶粒对陶瓷电阻阻值的影响最大,晶壳贡献次之,晶界最小,且3个部件电阻值都显示出负温度系数效应.在25—115℃范围内,电学模量虚部峰频与阻抗虚部峰频始终不匹配,意味着Bi0.5Ba0.5FeO3陶瓷体内部一直表现出局域导电机理.

Abstract: 以烟草悬浮细胞BY-2为材料,利用FoF1-ATP合成酶(FoF1-ATPase)抑制剂寡霉素研究了细胞内ATP(iATP)对胞外ATP(eATP)水平的影响,以及施加外源ATP对iATP水平和细胞死亡的调节作用。结果表明,随着寡霉素浓度的增加(5、10、25、50 μmol·L-1),烟草悬浮细胞的iATP含量逐渐下降,eATP含量也随之减少,且细胞死亡水平在较高寡霉素处理浓度下有明显上升。同时,随着寡霉素处理时间的增加(0.5、1、3、5 h),烟草悬浮细胞的iATP含量和eATP含量也呈现出不同程度的下降,而细胞死亡水平则有所增加。施加外源ATP能够缓解寡霉素引起的细胞iATP水平的下降和细胞死亡水平的上升。上述结果表明,eATP水平受到了iATP水平的影响,而eATP也在线粒体ATP合成受到抑制时调控iATP和细胞死亡的发生。
Tolerance Induction by Exosomes from Immature Dendritic Cells and Rapamycin in a Mouse Cardiac Allograft Model

Abstract: Background Dendritic cells (DCs) release bioactive exosomes that play an important role in immune regulation. Because they express low levels of class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) and co-stimulatory molecules, exosomes derived from donor immature DCs (imDex) prolong allograft survival by inhibiting T-cell activation. However, this effect is limited and does not induce immunological tolerance when imDex are administered alone. Thus, we tested the effect of combined treatment with donor imDex and low-dose rapamycin on inducing tolerance in a mouse cardiac transplantation model. Methods ImDex were obtained from the culture supernatant of immature DCs derived from donor mouse (C57BL/6) bone marrow and were injected with suboptimal doses of rapamycin into recipient mouse (BALB/c) before and after transplantation. The capacity of this treatment to induce immune tolerance was analyzed in vitro and in vivo using the mouse cardiac transplantation model. Results Donor imDex expressed moderate levels of MHC class II and low levels of MHC class I and co-stimulatory molecules, but neither imDex nor subtherapeutic rapamycin dose alone induced cardiac allograft tolerance. Combined treatment with imDex and rapamycin, however, led to donor specific cardiac allograft tolerance. This effect was accompanied by decreased anti-donor antigen cellular response and an increased percentage of spleen CD4+CD25+ T cells in recipients. Furthermore, this donor specific tolerance could be further transferred to na?ve allograft recipients through injection of splenocytes, but not serum, from tolerant recipients. Conclusion Combined with immunosuppressive treatment, donor imDex can prolong cardiac allograft survival and induce donor specific allograft tolerance.

On the Higgs Fit and Electroweak Phase Transition

Abstract: We consider the Higgs portal through which light scalars contribute both to the Higgs production and decay and Higgs effective potential at finite temperature via quantum loops. The positive Higgs portal coupling required by a strongly first order electroweak phase transition is disfavored by the current Higgs data if we consider one such scalar. We observe that by introducing a second scalar with negative Higgs portal coupling, one can not only improve the Higgs fits, but also enhance the strength of first order EWPT. We apply this mechanism to the light stop scenario for electroweak baryogenesis in the MSSM and find a light sbottom could play the role as the second scalar, which allows the stop to be relatively heavier. Non-decoupled effects on the Higgs or sbottom self-interactions from physics beyond MSSM is found to be indispensable for this scenario to work. A clear prediction from the picture is the existence of a light sbottom (below 200 GeV) and a light stop (can be as heavy as 140 GeV), which can be directly tested in the near future.
