Periodic Systems Dependent on Parameters

Abstract: This paper is concerned with a periodic system dependent on parameter. We study differentiability with respect to parameters of the periodic solution of the system. Applying a fixed point theorem and the results regarding parameters for -semigroups, we obtained some convenient conditions for determining differentiability with parameters of the periodic solution. The paper is concluded with an application of the obtained results to a periodic boundary value problem.

Abstract: The reliability of facility location problems has been received wide attention for several decades. Researchers formulate varied models to optimize the reliability of location decisions. But the most of such studies are not practical since the models are too ideal. In this paper, based on the classical uncapacitated fixed-charge location problem (UFLP) and some supply constraints from the reality, we distinguish deterministic facility failure and stochastic facility failure cases to formulate models to measure the reliability of a system. The computational results and reliability envelopes for a specific example are also given.

Abstract: The Belt and Road Initiative provides excellent opportunities of developing agricultural products trade. This paper presents the overview and the prospect of the agricultural trade between China and the Belt and Road countries, and uses RCA and TCI index to empirically analyze trade competition and complementarity of agricultural products between China and the Belt and Road countries. Results show that trade competition and complementarity of agricultural products between China and the Belt and Road countries coexist, but its complementarity appears to be more remarkable. China and the Belt and Road countries should strengthen and diversify the trade cooperation on agricultural products on the basis of existing bilateral and multilateral mechanisms to achieve common development.
PediDraw: A web-based tool for drawing a pedigree in genetic counseling

Abstract: We developed an online pedigree drawing tool, PediDraw, which enables users to generate pedigrees after inputting the family information step-by-step on web. It outputs a pedigree or table to present a family history to the counselors.PediDraw is a user-friendly web-based drawing tool. It is accessible via Internet.A pedigree is a genealogical graph or table which records the relationship of families by degrees. It is essential to genetic counseling. Drawing a pedigree is regarded as a trained skill of genetic counselors to obey the general rules of pedigree nomenclature [1]. Genetic counselors usually draw the pedigrees by handwriting or with the assistance of some commonly used drawing software such as Microsoft PowerPoint. This handwriting procedure is usually time-consuming and may lead to a mess when modifying. It will take a lot of time to align the icons and to annotate the pedigree when using drawing software such as Microsoft PowerPoint. In medical records, the family history is required to document and trace the inheritability of certain kind of disease. As the usage of electronic medical files is more popular in medical practice, the inconvenience in drawing a pedigree by hand or by current drawing software precludes the general practitioners from using the electronic files. In medical research, a detailed pedigree is required in genetic mapping or linkage analysis, which calls for a simple tool to draw pedigrees [2]. More recently, online genetic education and genetic counseling websites have been developed in the Internet era [3]. This service requires a simple drawing tool for the online genetic counselees without professional training.To meet the above needs, several tools for drawing a pedigree or record the family history have been developed. Relative Near PS-Compact L-subsets

Abstract: In this paper the new concept of relative near PS-compactness in L-fuzzy topological spaces is introduced. The relative near PS-compactness is described with a-net , r-ps-cover, r-finite intersection property. The relationship between relative near PS-compactness and near PS-compactness is in vestigated. It is found that near PS-compactness implies relative near PS-compactness and every LF-set of near PS-compact space is relative near PS-compact. The relative near PS-compactness possess the following properties:the union of two arbirtrary relative near PS-compact sets is relative near PS-compact;the intersection of a family relative near PS-compact sets is also relative near PS-compact. Finally, it is proved that the relative near PS-compactness is invariant under the PS-continuous maps.This relative near PS-compactness is defined for arbitrary L-fuzzy subsets, and it preserves many good properties of compactness in general topological spaces.
Mode of pollen spread in clonal seed orchard of Pinus koraiensis  [PDF]

Abstract: The patterns of effective pollen dispersal and the relationships between pollen dispersal and genetic composition in Pinus koraiensis are still unclear. Hence, we investigated the mode of pollen dispersal of P. koraiensis in a clonal seed orchard in Lushuihe Forestry Bureau, Jilin Province, using SSR molecular markers tech-nique and the method of maximum likelihood. A total of 13 pairs of nuclear microsatellites po-lymorphic primers were used in the paternity analysis. We analyzed 100 progenies and 150 paternities. A total of 56 alleles were detected in 13 loci with 3-6 alleles (4.3 alleles in average) in a single locus. The primers of SsrPt_ctg7170 and SsrPt_ctg5333 had the maximum (6) and the minimum (3) alleles, respectively. The averaged values of observed heterozygosity, expected heterozygosity and polymorphism information content of experimental groups were 0.648, 0.601 and 0.533, respectively. The mating dis-tance of P. koraiensis followed an approximately normal distribution. The most effective pollen for the female parent came from male parent trees 15-45 m away with an average mating dis-tance of 32.60 m and the longest of 67.88 m. The pollen source of offspring was not random but greatly affected by the wind direction during the pollination season of P. koraiensis. These re-sults have important implications for seed or-chard design to improve the genetic quality of seeds and seed production.
Gauge Symmetry from Integral Viewpoint

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the gauge symmetry of classical field theories in integral formalism. A gauge invariant theory is defined in terms of the invariance of the physical observables under the coordinate transformations in principal bundle space. Through the detailed study on the property of non-Abelian parallel transportor under gauge transformations, we show that it is not generally a two-point spinor, i.e. an operator to be affected only by the gauge group elements at the two end points of the parallel transport path, except for the pure gauge situation, and therefore the local gauge symmetry for non-Abelian models is found to be broken in non-perturbative domain. However, an Abelian gauge theory is proved to be strictly invariant under local gauge transformation, as it is illustrated by the invariance of the interference pattern of electrons in Aharonov-Bohm effect. The related issues of the phenomenon are discussed.
SU(2) gluon propagator on a coarse anisotropic lattice

Abstract: We calculated the SU(2) gluon propagator in Landau gauge on an anisotropic coarse lattice with the improved action. The standard and the improved scheme are used to fix the gauge in this work. Even on the coarse lattice the lattice gluon propagator can be well described by a function of the continuous momentum. The effect of the improved gauge fixing scheme is found not to be apparent. Based on the Marenzoni's model, the mass scale and the anomalous dimension are extracted and can be reasonably extrapolated to the continuum limit with the values $\alpha\sim 0.3$ and $M\sim 600MeV$. We also extract the physical anisotropy $\xi$ from the gluon propagator due to the explicit $\xi$ dependence of the gluon propagator.
CP Violating Polarization Asymmetry in Charmless Two-Body Decays of Beauty Baryons

Abstract: Several baryons containing a heavy b-quark, the b-baryons, have been discovered. The charmless two-body decays of b-baryons can provide a new platform for CP violating studies in a similar way as charmless two-body decays of B-meson. In b-baryon decays there are new CP violating observable related to baryon polarization. We show that in the flavor $SU(3)$ limit there exist relations involve different combinations of the decay amplitudes compared with those in CP violating rate asymmetry. These new relations therefore provide interesting tests for the mechanism of CP in the standard model (SM) and flavor $SU(3)$ symmetry. Future data from LHCb can test these relations.
