Remarks on primitive series on plane curves
Grazia Raciti
Le Matematiche , 1995,
Abstract: In this paper we relate primitive linear series on a smooth plane curve C with the following properties of zero-dimensional subschemes X of the projective plane: 1) Cayley-Bacharach "at degree a" 2) the absence of non assigned base pointson C for the linear system of curves of degree a through X. This allows us to construct examples of primitive series on C.

A REDU O DA JORNADA DE TRABALHO EM TEMPOS DE DESEMPREGO E PRECARIZA O SEM LIMITES
Giuseppina Grazia
Revista Emancipa??o , 2006,
Grazia Basile
Rivista Italiana di Filosofia del Linguaggio , 2012,
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the way in which, according to Vygotskij, human beings form and organize their experiences and, at the same time, develop senses and shared meanings within a linguistic community. In this respect Vygotskij, in his works, often refers to Tolstoy establishing with him a dialogue that helps us to understand some key points of the development of thought and language. The social function of language develops starting from the earliest stages of infant development (from the phase of the syncretism to that of complex formation etc.) and, in particular, is realized within what Vygotskij defines natural forms, i.e. situations in which our experiences and our knowledge, our words, our speech etc. originate and which are the framework of experiential spaces (which are linguistic spaces too) from which all forms of culture and human communication follow. Tolstoj, especially the Tolstoj pedagogist, active in the school of Jasnaja Poljana, in this regard plays a central role, since, for him too, both the concepts and the words that give them a perceptible and coded form within an historical-natural language are related to natural forms of shared life, to complex games of interrelations with other human beings. The two authors differ, however, in how they consider the role of education and educators: Tolstoy thinks that the teacher may be just a “facilitator” of the innate abilities the child already possess, while Vygotskij thinks that the educator and, in general, the adult plays a fundamental role in the cognitive, linguistic and interactional development of the child
Grazia Semeraro
SCIRES-IT : SCIentific RESearch and Information Technology , 2011, DOI: 10.2423/i22394303v1n1p125
En The paper is focused on the history of computer applications to the archaeology, developed by the Laboratory of Archaeological Computing at University of Salento (Lecce, Italy). This activity started in 1983 with the first excavation data management system. Further developments are linked with the use of GIS in the field of settlement studies and, more recently, with the implementation of two web-based applications, which represent the on-line versions of the older systems. The methodological problems related to archaeological data management are also discussed. The methods and the technologies available in the field of Information and Communication Technology are used for the transfer of data, information management systems and multimedia communication in the reconstruction of ancient landscapes and cultural systems.
Which strategies are used against insect pests: a survey in 120 institutions of public heritage
Grazia Nicosia
Journal of Entomological and Acarological Research , 2011, DOI: 10.4081/jear.2011.e17
Abstract: A quantitative survey was conducted to identify the characteristics of infestations in contemporary art institutions. This survey helped us understanding the mechanism of infestation in French heritage institutions according to the type of institution. Our results show a correlation between the nature of the infestation, its understanding and the themes of the collection. This factual study provides a better assessment of institutions‘ risk management and their probable infestation depending on the type institution. Given these data, we are able to observe the typical features of contemporary art collections and their infestation by highlighting the fact that the insect is not only a pest, but is a constituent element of the artwork.

Le vernis des apparences
Grazia Nicosia
CeROArt : Conservation, Exposition, Restauration d'Objets d'Art , 2010,
The purpose of this article is to understand the semiotic impact of the cleaning of a painting and the cognitive effects induced on the observer. This study analyses conjointly the visual phenomenon generated by yellowing varnish and its removal and controlled interviews of observers. The removal of yellowing varnish modifies considerably the perception of the picture. Daytime, climate, season and characters activities are modified. The patina may be perceived either as an obstacle to the painting exploration, or, for those who appreciate it, as a medium for a closer relationship between the painting and the observer.
Measurement of D-meson production in p-Pb collisions with the ALICE detector
Grazia Luparello
Physics , 2013, DOI: 10.1088/1742-6596/509/1/012101
Abstract: The ALICE Collaboration has measured the production of prompt D mesons in pPb collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 5.02 TeV in the rapidity range -0.04 < y_{cms} < 0.96 via the exclusive reconstruction of their hadronic decays D0->K-pi+, D+->K- pi+ pi+, D*+->D0 pi+ and Ds->phi pi+. The pT-differential production cross sections and the pT-dependent nuclear modification factors with respect to a proton-proton reference, RpPb, are presented.
