Maturo,Graciela;
Enlace , 2007,
Abstract: this article presents the importance that the thought of rodolfo kusch currently has for philosophical, ethical, political and aesthetic ideas that are developed in latin america. from a phenomenological approach, the main characteristics of who is the ?other? are defined, in his-her cultural and personal condition; namely, the native who forms part of a shared and lived otherness. the ?other? is interpreted as a subject for encounter, in his presence departing from inter-subjectivity and e recognition ethic.
Maturo,Graciela;
Cuadernos del CILHA , 2011,
Abstract: currently it is developed a certain approach to hispanic literature of the golden age that emphasizes the relation of "coevidad" and exchange between spain and america. within this framework it has been tried to relate: miguel de cervantes and inca garcilaso. this study extend the approach of the golden age to an atlantic consideration, because while the encounter of dissimilar peoples and cultures marks from the beginning their differentiation, on the other hand it is undeniable that they have in many aspects a continuity which allows us to talk about transculturation, or mestizo identity. there is continuity and discontinuity between the iberian peoples and their colonies across the ocean: the languages, customs, literary genres, are the same and others in the imperial metropolis and in the west indies.
Maturo,Graciela;
Utopìa y Praxis Latinoamericana , 2010,
Abstract: this brief article proposes to point out some central themes in the thought of rodolfo kusch (argentina, 1920-1979) and signal this route as a path for a latin american philosophy. with references to phenomenology, particularly martin heidegger, max scheler, paul ricoeur and emmanuel levinas, in whose current the argentinean philosopher fits, the study seeks to show his originality in the search for the american cultural subject, especially indigenous or mixed people, as the basis for a philosophy situated in america. in the author?s understanding, kusch, whose work is beginning to be discovered in europe and america, displays elements of a transcendental egology that includes the search for ipseity through intercultural and inter-subjective encounters.
La razón poética y el pensamiento complejo
Maturo,Graciela;
Utopìa y Praxis Latinoamericana , 2009,
Abstract: between reason and thought, poetry and knowledge, dualism or the exclusion of terms is not possible. they complement each other without losing their distinctions. one must learn to think from the viewpoint of diversity and interculturalty in order to overcome the cartesian reasoning of unity and synthesis, because the world’s realities are alternative, random and diffuse. reason is transformed through complex thinking, which considers the parts of the whole always in an open correlation to the totality. on the other hand, poetic reasoning perceives and understands the world by the sensitive intuition of those who humanize it through their symbolic creations. both rationalities open and give access to the world in coordinates of encounters and misunderstandings, which make it possible to think and feel the world as a permanent discovery of the cultural and historic creation of peoples in their otherness and liberty. in latin america, the philosophical discussion that stimulates complex thought necessarily requires culturally diverse poetic experiences that form part of the meanings of historical reality.
Fenomenología y hermenéutica: desde la transmodernidad latinoamericana
MATURO,Graciela;
Utopìa y Praxis Latinoamericana , 2007,
Abstract: this article states the contribution of phenomenology to a renovation of the human sciences, particularly in the field of literary studies in latin america. first, it postulates the legitimacy of the latin american scholar?s assuming a thought that is situated, geocultural and historically located in america. inherent to this statement is the recognition that iberoamerican culture is a mixed culture in which dissimilar elements coming from two great ethnic and cultural branches are present: a culture of image and rite and a culture of concept and book. secondly, an attempt is made to delineate some basic concepts of phenomenology and its method, considering phenomenology as the inflection point for european thought about non-western cultures. third, attention is called to cultural reading as practiced first by the american writer and later thematized from the phenomenological viewpoint by rodolfo kusch in his works on andean man and american geoculture. finally, the study points out the distance that has resulted between the last stage of euro-atlantic cultural and literary theory, marked by the atmosphere of deconstructivism and post modernity, and the process of americ can transmodernity, heading toward its stage of cultural self-awareness. consequently, the historical, philosophical and political need of south american nations to reaffirm constituting and integrating tools is produced. within this framework, we postulate the incorporation of phenomenology into latin american hermeneutics, from the viewpoint of situated thought.

La hermenéutica fenomenológica desde América
Graciela Maturo
Utopia y Praxis Latinoamericana , 2012,
