El lugar de las emociones en la constitución social de lo psíquico: el aporte de Vigotski

Abstract: the article analyses the place of emotions in the psychic social constitution, highlighting, overall, the vigotsky's contribution. the text focus on two of the main ideas which caused an impact in the psychology reconstructions by vygotsky: the psychic functions in the activity and the signals mediation in the constitution of the functions. the concept of "social situation development" reveals vygotsky's preocupation to integrate the richness of the internal processes, constituted in the former subject history, with the influences that give the characteristic to each of the social moments of the development. we also focus on the importance that the "experience" and the "necessity" category has in vygotsky's thought. at last, it's analized the "personality" issue as a theoretical construction that recognizes ontologically the individual subjectivity, understood as a process of a subject that exists socially.

Abstract: O artigo analisa o lugar das emo es na constitui o social do psíquico, destacando, sobretudo, a contribui o de Vigotski. O texto enfatiza, particularmente, duas das idéias que mais impacto exerceram na reconstru o da psicologia por Vigotski: o desenvolvimento das fun es psíquicas na atividade e a media o dos signos na constitui o dessas fun es. O conceito de "situa o social do desenvolvimento" revela a preocupa o de Vigotski em integrar a riqueza dos processos internos, constituídos na história anterior do sujeito, com as influências que caracterizam cada um dos momentos sociais do desenvolvimento. Destaca-se também a importancia que a "vivência" e a categoria de "necessidade" têm no pensamento de Vigotski. Finalmente, é analisada a quest o da "personalidade" como constru o teórica que reconhece ontologicamente a subjetividade individual, entendida como um processo de um sujeito que existe socialmente.

Abstract: in this paper we discuss the subjective processes that constitute the basis of aspects of individual and social subjectivity in the experience of a patient with cancer, based on the understanding of subjectivity from a historical-cultural stand point. this research was carried out through the case study of a person who had cancer. the analyses was oriented on a qualitative methodology of a constructive-interpretative nature, the qualitative epistemology proposed by gonzález rey. in the process of building up information different hypoteses arise and are organized on indicators constructed by the researchers that are the basis for the theoretical constructions. in this analysis, it's possible to understand the different subjective aspects that constitute the processes of health and illness.

Abstract: this paper discusses some of the challenges concerning development social representations in current psychology. as with any theoretical construction capable of shedding light on new aspects in scientific thought, the concept of social representation has expanded itself throughout authors who use it with different theoretical and methodological bases. the concept of subjectivity, from a historical cultural standpoint, is introduced in the discussion concerning the current alternatives for the development of social representation. from this framework, subjectivity is completely redefined, gaining a new meaning as part of a completely new theoretical system. starting from this definition, subjectivity is understood not as exclusively individual phenomena, but as an important side of any social phenomena. the concept of social subjectivity is discussed in its consequences for the social representation's development. this discussion involves social subjectivity, subject and social representation into a complex and dynamic system

Abstract: in this paper is discussed the development of the ontological and epistemological questions related to psychoanalysis, the empirical psychology supported on behavior and the soviet psychology. these approaches implied three different ontological representations on psyche. each of those ontological representations was involved with different epistemological and methodological consequences. a special attention is given in the discussion to soviet psychology, an approach that up to now remains little known in the western psychology. soviet psychology, either by the historical conditions of its emergence, or by received cultural and philosophical influences, had important differences with the more known psychological approaches in that time. started from historical cultural approach, the author introduces the topic of the subjectivity from a cultural - historical standpoint, as a new ontological proposal. it is also discussed the epistemological and methodological demands resulted from the study of the subjectivity in this theoretical approach.

Abstract: this paper presents and discusses different challenges that psychology has to face in its approach to health issues, which, from my point of view, are impossible to develop within the current approaches to health and clinical psychology. i emphasize concrete challenges: the first deals with the theoretical elaboration of the concept of health, which has been practically ignored in the psychological literature that focus mostly on the matter of disease. in this sense, i propose to abandon the definition of health in terms of normality, equilibrium, or absence of symptoms. for this purpose, i take the concept of distress and explain it within a different theoretical framework, taking into account its complex subjective and social constitution on the subject?s life course. the other challenges relate to the need to include the matter of health among those developed by social and educational psychologists, emphasizing the importance of an interdisciplinary approach.

Abstract: En esta conferencia el autor ubica los estudios sobre la adolescencia estudiantil en el conjunto de las perspectivas teóricas de la psicología evolutiva y del estudio de la personalidad. Se ala algunos de los aciertos y debilidades de estos enfoques. Se refiere en particular a la psicología soviética, que establece categorías para la construcción teórica y metodológica sobre la personalidad (teoría de la actividadconciencia) y a la concepción elaborada por los psicólogos cubanos, que reconocen a la personalidad como una integración sistémica que representa la acción activa del individuo en el proceso de configuración individualizada de los contenidos y funciones de la psique, que sirven de base para establecer nuevas categorías de investigación aplicadas al estudio de la adolescencia. Comenta algunas investigaciones realizadas en este sentido y el papel de la escuela en el desarrollo de la acción activa-transformadora del educando.

Abstract: En el presente artículo se pretende mostrar cómo las transformaciones del psiquismo humano, a partir del carácter cultural de las producciones y prácticas del hombre, permiten retomar el tema de la subjetividad como nivel cualitativo distintivo de la especie humana. La subjetividad, entendida en la perspectiva aquí defendida, es un proceso inherente al funcionamiento cultural del hombre y al mundo social generado por sus producciones culturales. Estas consideraciones pretenden responder a la exclusión de la subjetividad por el post-estructuralismo y el neo-pragmatismo, apoyada en la idea de que se trababa de una noción que cargaba con las limitaciones del pensamiento moderno. Frente a esta postura, se argumenta que ninguna de estas corrientes de pensamiento tuvo una conciencia teórica sobre la subjetividad, un concepto que, de hecho, va en dirección opuesta a los principios fundamentales que sustentaron la modernidad tardía, apoyada en la idea de ciencia objetiva y en una representación racional del hombre

Abstract: Este artigo apresenta e discute diferentes desafios que a psicologia tem que enfrentar em seus estudos sobre assuntos relacionados com a saúde, que, sobre o ponto de vista do autor, s o impossíveis de desenvolver com os estudos atuais sobre saúde e psicologia clínica. O autor enfatiza desafios concretos: o primeiro que é colocado está relacionado com a elabora o teórica do conceito de saúde, que tem sido praticamente ignorado na literatura psicológica, a qual tem se centrado no problema da doen a. Neste sentido, o autor prop e abandonar a defini o de saúde em termos de normalidade, equilíbrio ou ausência de sintomas. Para este propósito, o autor utiliza o conceito de distress e o explica com diferente enquadramento teórico, levando em conta sua complexa constitui o subjetiva e social no curso da vida do sujeito. O outro desafio coloca a necessidade de incluir o problema da saúde entre outros já desenvolvidos pelas psicologias social e educacional, enfatizando a importancia de um estudo intradisciplinar do problema da saúde em psicologia.
