General Relativistic Treatment of the Pioneers Anomaly  [PDF]
Marcelo Samuel Berman, Fernando de Mello Gomide
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2012.329155
Abstract: We consider a General Relativistic generalized RWs metric, and find a field of Universal rotational global centripetal acceleration, numerically coincident with the value of the Pioneers Anomalous one. Related subjects are also treated. The rotation defined here is different from older frameworks, because we propose a Gaussian metric, whose tri-space rotates relative to the time orthogonal axis, globally.
Relativistic Cosmology and the Pioneers Anomaly  [PDF]
Marcelo Samuel Berman, Fernando de Mello Gomide
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2012.329152
Abstract: NASA spacecrafts has suffered from three anomalies. The Pioneers spacecrafts were decelerated, and their spin when not disturbed, was declining. On the other hand, fly-bys for gravity assists, appeared with extra speeds, relative to infinity. The Pioneers and fly-by anomalies are given now exact general relativistic full general solutions, in a rotating expanding Universe. We cite new evidence on the rotation of the Universe. Our solution seems to be the only one that solves the three anomalies.
Local and Global Stability of the Universe  [PDF]
Marcelo Samuel Berman, Fernando de Mello Gomide
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2013.48A002
Abstract:

We prove, by a general relativistic derivation, that the Universe is locally and globally, stable, resembling an extreme Kerr-white-hole—Universe.

Morfogênese de cultivares de Panicum maximum jacq.
Gomide, Carlos Augusto Miranda;Gomide, José Alberto;
Revista Brasileira de Zootecnia , 2000, DOI: 10.1590/S1516-35982000000200004
Abstract: four cultivars of panicum maximum: momba?a, tanzania, centenário and vencedor were grown in pots, under a transparent plastic cover, to evaluate the dynamic of leaf and tillers growth. two growths, the establishment and the aftermath, after clipping at the age of 21 days, and two types of tiller, main and primary tillers, were studied. a completely randomized design with four replicates was used to compare the treatments resulting from a 4 x 2 x 2 factorial arrangement. the leaf blade length increased with insertion level until leaf number nine or ten, decreasing subsequently. the tillering process began during the second week of growth and continued until the 22nd day, when the number of tillers per plant stabilized. tanzania tillered the most (15 tillers/plant) while momba?a and vencedor tillered the least (10 tillers/plant). higher leaf appearance and elongation rates were observed in the establishment growth. in either growth, the cultivar vencedor showed the highest leaf appearance rate. in the aftermath growth, the number of green leaves per tiller stabilized at 6.5 for vencedor and 3.5 for the remaining cultivars. in this growth the leaf life span ranged from 29 days, for the cultivar centenário, to 36 days, for the remaining cultivars.

DIADORIM: a Monte Carlo Program for liquid simulations including quantum mechanics and molecular mechanics (QM/MM) facilities: applications to liquid ethanol
Freitas, Luiz Carlos Gomide;
Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-50532009000800022
Abstract: this paper presents a metropolis monte carlo (mmc) computer program developed to simulate liquids and solutions including qm/mm facilities: the energy from intermolecular interactions is calculated with classical force field functions and the internal molecular energies are calculated using quantum chemistry methods. the following facilities were implemented: (i) the semiempirical mopac 6 quantum chemistry package was included as a subroutine of the main mmc simulation program; (ii) alternatively, an interface with an external data bank was developed to allow the use of energies previously obtained; (iii) calculation in npt and nvt ensembles are available; (iv) the trajectory generated along the mmc sampling can be saved using standard xtc file format allowing trajectory visualization and data analysis using external programs. the program was used to calculate thermodynamical and structural properties of liquids ethanol (et) in the npt ensemble at 1.0 atm and 298 k. bond angles and bond distances of ethanol molecules were kept constant but torsions along the dihedral angle defined by the h-o-c-c atoms were sampled in the simulation. qm/mm calculations were performed using the mopac am1, pm3 and mndo hamiltonians to calculate the internal molecular energy. calculations using internal energies obtained with opls-aa force field, ab initio hf/6-31g*, mp2/6-31g* and b3lyp/6-31g* calculations were performed. the dihedral angles distributions obtained with different methodologies reveal extraordinary qualitative and quantitative differences. however, the pair energies and radial distributions functions obtained with the different methodologies are in good agreement. the values calculated for the density and enthalpy of vaporization of liquid ethanol are in good agreement with experimental data.
A influência da profiss?o no estilo parental materno percebido pelos filhos
Gomide, Paula Inez Cunha;
Estudos de Psicologia (Campinas) , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-166X2009000100003
Abstract: the introduction of women into the labor market has added a new role to the mother's traditional function of carer, namely the role of the provider. these tasks, which may or not be shared with their partners, should be considered as to their influence on their children's education. this research attempted to assess how children themselves perceive the way in which they are being educated by their working mothers. to find the answer to this question, the parental styles inventory was used on 160 young people between the ages of 12 and 24, comprising 88 females and 72 males, the children of engineers, doctors, lawyers and psychologists. the results show that the mothers, regardless of the their professions, make little use of positive educational approaches (positive monitoring and moral behavior) which lead them to increase pro-social behavior, and often resort to negative practices (physical abuse and stressing supervision) in order to gain control over their children. these mothers end up demonstrating high rates of negligence since their children feel they are not being taken care of. professional mothers are apparently unable to reconcile, in an adequate fashion, their professional and maternal responsibilities since they have not been able to incorporate into their knowledge base the guidance provided by the available literature that focuses on parenting.
Agrotóxico: que nome dar?
Gomide,Márcia;
Ciência & Saúde Coletiva , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-81232005000400027
Abstract: workers, generally speaking, are always exposed to higher or lower risk degrees. farmers are particularly exposed, which is demonstrated in the specialized literature. nevertheless, papers have stated that there are, in fact, some sort of common protection law that permit them carry on their activities. this is because the majority of the employers take part in the production process to guarantee their harvests using pesticide. this paper presents a research carried out in two cities in the southwest piauí state using a qualitative approach in order to understand the protection mechanisms farmers perform against their occupational hazards. the outcomes reveal defensive strategies such as alcohol consumption and subletting work to younger workers. there is also the existence of some level of awareness about the risks of pesticide use to health. considering that, the importance of the designation given to pesticides as a protection factor must be discussed and that should be more valorized in order to maximize farmers self-protection instead of insisting on the information increase or the personal protection equipaments control strategies.
Rede social e desempenho de programas de saúde: uma proposta investigativa
Gomide, Marcia;Grossetti, Michel;
Physis: Revista de Saúde Coletiva , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-73312010000300010
Abstract: major effort has been necessary to achieve decentralization of the health programs in brazil, therefore essentially implying the creation of innovative practices. a number of researchers have been facing the challenge to carry on studies evaluating the implementation of health programs. some ongoing research has been indicating interpersonal relations as an important factor, which explains the different consequences. this paper intends to discuss the importance of interpersonal relations in the implementation of health programs starting from the contribution of social network's analyses. investigations towards the comprehension of performance variations in health programs which incorporate such outlook will be proposed.
As "propagandas do horror" e os fen?menos de massa contemporaneos
Gomide, Ana Paula Avila;
Psicologia em Estudo , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-73722011000400008
Abstract: this paper discusses the theoretical foundations linked to certain psychic dispositions that underlie the contemporary mass phenomena, from the relationship established between the short story "the dwarves" and the anti-smoking advertisements, enabled by images showing the process of withering and decomposition of the smoker, from which we call "horror propaganda". the theoretical approach is based on the work of theodor adorno, max horkheimer, and sigmund freud. it is assumed that to the analysis of the messages subtext and the tale, the thesis on the history underground history of clarification aimed to the domination of the body and nature, besides the "return of the repressed," sheds light on matters under investigation.
