ABSTRACT Using the virtual campus in the practicum of psychopedagogy: a socio-cultural and constructivist approach. The Practicum (post-graduate teacher education) is an area critical to the formation of a student to finish college. In the new framework of European Higher Education Area(EHEA),classroom practices have become even more important for the development of the skills required for a particular professional profile. In this paper we present the organization and monitoring of the Practicum as part of a virtual university. From a constructivist and socio-cultural teaching, learning and assessment, the proposal presents a model of practicum of the degree of 2nd cycle of psychopedagogy, which combines mentoring and monitoring the work of students in the training center work simultaneously with a reflection on practice which takes place in the classroom of the virtual campus. The results are analyzed from the satisfaction questionnaire administered to students at the end of each semester, which assesses four areas: overall satisfaction, teaching activities, resources and assessment of learning. The application of this methodology has many benefits for students training as skill acquisition warrants intervention own psychology in context togetherwith reflection on the contexts, purposes and objectives of the psychopedagogy intervention. The implications, advantages and disadvantages of this model of practicum are discussed taking into account the guidelines of the European Higher Education Area.

Abstract: it is well known that geographic variation oceurs in life history characteristics among populations of lizards. variations in life histories found in some studies are possibly adaptations to environmental pressures. in southwestern méxico, the reproductive characteristics of the endemic species sceloporus formosus have been poorly studied throughout its geographic range. we used specimens from scientific collections to describe male and female reproductive eyeles and sexual dimorphism of s. formosus. other viviparous sceloporus from high elevations show sexual dimorphism, with males being larger in many morphological characteristics than females. we therefore expected that s. formosus would show sexual dimorphism. however, we found no sexual dimorphism. males reached sexual maturity at a smaller (47 mm) snout-vent length (svl) than females (50 mm). there were no significant differences between sexes and months in liver mass. however, fat body mass in females was greater than in males. for males, there was significant relationship between log10-testis volume and log10-svl. testis volume was positively correlated with temperature and was smallest during october, november, and december. for females, there was no significant effect of month on gonad volume. vitellogenesis oceurred from april to november. vitellogenic follicles and embryonic development were significantly correlated with precipitation (pearson correlation, r = 0.80, n = 10, p = 0.0081) and photoperiod (pearson correlation, r = 0.72, n = 10, p < 0.0001). litter size based on embryos was correlated with svl (pearson correlation, r = 0.82, n = 10, p = 0.0034). relative litter mass was not correlated with female svl (pearson correlation, r = 0.43, n = 10, p = 0.2110). the fall reproductive pattern found in this species is typical of viviparous species from high elevation, where temperature is low, and precipitation and relative humidity are high. if so, it would suggest that convergence in reproductive cycle

If so, it would suggest that convergence in reproductive cycle could be associated with a shift to montane habitats in these species.

Abstract: A bacterial strain capable of Zinc and Lead biosorption was isolated from mine tailings. This strain showed the highest minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of metals among other isolates in metal-resistance tests. Sorption tests were conducted placing 0.015 g of dry biomass in 10 ml of metallic solution at fixed pH. Contact was analyzed at different times (kinetics) and different initial concentrations (isotherm). The biomass was separated by centrifugation and the concentration of non-absorbed metal was determined using atomic absorption spectroscopy. The strain was identified by 16S sequencing as Delftia tsuruhatensis. The order of toxicity of the metals to the bacterium was Zn > Pb > Se > Ni > Cu = Al. Zinc and Lead absorption kinetics were adjusted to the pseudo second order equation (r2 = 0.99), showing that equilibrium was reached at 40 and 20 min, respectively. Maximal absorption of Pb and Zn was 0.216 and 0.207 mmol?g–1, respectively; which can be considered a median magnitude capacity when compared to other biosorbents described in the literature.

Abstract: tobacco use, a well known cause of death, represents a preventable disease related to many health problems. epidemiológical studies estimate a prevalence of 1,100 million tobacco dependent people. nicotine addiction depends on multiple factors; studies have reported that the central nervous system plays an important role through the stimulation of neuronal dopaminergic nicotine receptors. the main dopamine synthesis sites are located in the neurons of the substantia nigra and the ventral tegmental area of the mesencephalus, which are projected towards the basal ganglia and accumbens nuclei. in vivo studies suggest that the dopaminergic cistern is highly implicated in nicotine dependence, showing that the neurotoxic lesions of the mesolimbic system or the systemic administration of nicotine receptor blockers reduce the quantity of nicotine administered. nevertheless, these studies have been carried out in animal models; thus, such findings can not be confirmed in humans due to methodological limitations (i.e. it is unethical to produce toxic or vascular damage of the mesencephalic dopaminergic tracts). it could be possible to carry out such a study in patients with mesencephalic injuries secondary to stroke.

Abstract: introduction. the bite for the spider loxosceles reclusa causes lesions quickly progressive necrotics that end up even causing amputation of the affected extremity, or to give origin to systemic manifestations, being expressed with intravascular hemolysis, coagulopathy, renal failure and rarely the patient's death. the use of the dapsone in the cases of local affection has been able to limit the necrotic lesion and to avoid loss of the extremity. the clinical case of an infant is presented that presented necrotic lesion with appropriate response to the therapy with dapsone. case report. female infant of 9 months of age, seen in the emergency department of the general hospital dr. aurelio valdivieso of the state of oaxaca, with a clinical picture of 48 hours of evolution characterized by vesicle in right leg; 24 hours later it presented erythematous, besides intense pain, limitation for the mobilization of the affected extremity and edema. to the physical exploration tachycardia was observed, in half third of leg right erythematous lesion of not well defined borders, vesicles with tendency to converge, with increase of the local heat, and the third cold distal and palpable pulses. handling began with dicloxacilin and amikacin with presumptive diagnosis of cellulitis. one day later the area you went violaceous, with phlyctenas and the denuded central part that it embraced a diameter of 10 cm. with the suspicious of necrotic arachnidism dapsone was administered, requiring debridement until deep planes. the evolution was satisfactory, being conserved the extremity. conclusion. in patients that present necrotic lesions, quickly progressive with or without systemic affection, to consider the possibility in the differential diagnosis of loxoscelism and necrotic arachnidism.
