Abstract: El presente estudio muestra cómo en México la puesta en marcha de reformas educativas vinculadas a una política de Estado en materia de cooperación internacional son incipientes. Mas aún, se deja claro que aún no existe una toma de conciencia en los grupos de poder de las universidades, respecto a su importancia para avanzar en procesos de Internacionalización de la Educación Superior y por tanto, el papel estratégico y fundamental que ella tiene para el desarrollo institucional, no obstante que la Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior ha se alado su importancia desde el a o 2000. This study shows how in Mexico the implementation of educational reforms, linked to a policy of State as a matter of international cooperation, is incipient. Even more, it is clearly stated that still there is no awareness in the groups of power at universities regarding their importance, in order to advance in internationalization processes of Higher Education. Therefore, the strategic and fundamental role it has to play for the institutional development is paramount, nevertheless that the National Association of Universities and Higher Educational Institutions, have pointed out its importance since the year 2000.
El papel de los tutores en la auto-dirección del aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Enfermería

Abstract: Introducción: El Método de Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas se fundamenta en las teorías constructivistas del aprendizaje, en los principios del aprendizaje de los adultos y en el desarrollo de modelos andragógicos. Tiene el propósito de ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar habilidades para dirigir su propio aprendizaje. Objetivo: Analizar el papel de los profesores en su rol de facilitadores del aprendizaje autodirigido de los estudiantes de Licenciatura en Enfermería de la Universidad de Colima, México. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo y transversal; se utilizó una muestra por conveniencia de 121 estudiantes. Para evaluar si los profesores facilitan la formación de habilidades, se dise ó un instrumento tipo inventario con 20 reactivos, los cuales fueron integrados en tres áreas: administración de la información, proceso de grupo, reflexión y pensamiento crítico. Por medio del alpha de Cronbach se obtuvo una confiabilidad de 0.96. Resultados: Al aplicar la prueba Kruskal-Wallis se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas sólo para la dimensión "Proceso de grupo" entre los grupos de 4o y 6o semestres (H = 6.77; P < 0.05). Sin embargo, aunque en las otras dimensiones no se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas, sí se logra identificar cambios en la tendencia de la opinión de los estudiantes hacia el rol de los tutores. Conclusiones: La evaluación sobre las tareas del tutor es favorable; los estudiantes afirman que "casi siempre" facilita, ayuda, promueve o colabora en el desarrollo de las habilidades que les permitirán ser estudiantes autodirigidos. Abstract: Se presentan resultados de un estudio correlacional que tuvo como propósito conocer la relación entre la percepción de la investigación científica y la intención por titularse con un trabajo de este tipo. Se trabajó con una muestra de 160 estudiantes, hombres y mujeres, de las carreras de Psicología y Enfermería que cursaban el último a o escolar. Los resultados muestran una correlación significativa entre la intención por titularse y el interés por la investigación científica, y asimismo se muestran diferencias entre los estudiantes de cada una de las carreras. Por otra parte, se observa que el principal predictor de la intención por desarrollar un trabajo de investigación y obtener el titulo es el interés por la investigación científica. Se discute respecto a la importancia de establecer en los programas educativos contenidos temáticos relacionados con la investigación y el gusto por la ciencia desde los primeros semestres en cada una de las disciplinas científicas.

Abstract:


Spain is the leading producer of olive oil. For Spain, olive oil and olive growing are not only an important source of economic wealth, but also symbols of its culture and gastronomy renowned both nationally and internationally. However, in rural areas where the olive is the primary source of income for resident families, proposals are being sought for activities that break away from the seasonality in income represented by dependence on agriculture. Among all these proposals there is one that is oleotourism, which is beginning to gain ground because of its facet of culinary tourism. This is due to its uniqueness, and it can also be considered an initiative for sustainable rural tourism. Given the interest aroused by this type of initiative, both on the part of the public administration and also the olive sector, this study involves the demand for oleotourism in Andalucía and is a strategic analysis of oleotourism as a new market sector in the south of Spain.

Abstract:

Tourism is one of the most enriching experiences, and even more so if it involves a rural habitat, in contact with the environment. This kind of tourism, one of the most requested by society currently, offers a great chance for developing rural areas. Rural tourism has become the solution for some problems that have become evident in those areas: the high rate of unemployment, rural exodus and primary sector dependence. So the practice of this activity will generate and diversify income, and create employment. For this reason it is necessary to offer a product adapted to consumer tourist demand, and therefore it is essential to know profile of the tourist. The Andalusian region, in the south of Spain, is famous for being a tourist area of great singularity exhibiting different degrees of development and models of touristic exploitation, strongly characterized by its offer of sun and beach. Today, this community does not limit itself to offering only a sun and beach experience since not all tourists that choose it as their destination have exclusive preference for this sector. Among all the new proposals, one modality is rural tourism, which is the focal point of this study, especially those initiatives for rural tourism in natural parks. Rural tourism is a development factor that will help to correct regional imbalances. Developmental politics related directly to wealth generation in these rural areas can be bolstered by this activity. This study will estimate a forecast to model monthly rural tourist demand in Andalusia for 2014. Its aim is to reveal its evolution in the immediate future in order to propose measures to encourage activity in said tourism sector, by making use of the 24 natural parks and protected areas located in this region.

Percepciones sobre el uso del condón y la sexualidad entre jóvenes

Abstract: El objetivo fue determinar la relación entre percepciones sobre el uso del condóny la actividad sexual de riesgo en jóvenes universitarios y universitarias. Participaron 273 hombresy mujeres estudiantes de pregrado con rango de edad de 19 a 25 a os. Aplicamos una escala tipoLikert con 31 reactivos, con cuatro dimensiones que miden percepción negativa del uso del condón,conocimientos sobre conducta sexual segura y creencias erróneas sobre las ITS y el uso del condón.Mostramos diferencias significativas entre hombres y mujeres en la percepción negativa del uso delcondón; obtuvimos correlaciones positivas en el uso del condón en la primera relación sexual y suuso posterior. Discutimos los resultados desde una perspectiva sociocultural y de género.

Abstract: In the present paper, the theoretical frame work of magneto hydrodynamics (MHD) is used to give a solution of the problem about the origin, persistence and disappearance of the Sunspots; as well as their tendency to appear as bipolar magnetic couples. According to the results obtained, a possible explanation about the change of polarity in both solar hemispheres is given. Heuristic but logical arguments about the periodicity of the phenomenon of the observed magnetic polarity and the tendency of couples of Sunspots to appear solely in certain latitudes that can be called tropical regions of the Sun are presented. Finally, an indirect experimental test is proposed to show the possible process that produces the polarity of the Sunspots in a given cycle, as well as the invertion of that polarity in the next solar cycle.

Abstract: The theoretical frame developed by A. S. Eddington is used in this paper in order to study the problem of internal structure and stars stability. A new hypothesis is developed that consists of assuming that at early stage of their evolution, all gaseous stars generate an intense magnetic field whose mission is to contribute to their stability. A simple methodology is shown to calculate the magnitude of the self-generated magnetic field at any point of the star, and diagrams are built for two specific cases, where the way in which this field varies from the center to the surface can be seen. Finally, the problem of the Cepheid type variables is studied obtaining an expression for the oscillation period carried out from the differential equation of the simple harmonic movement in terms of the appropriate parameters of the star.
