Research on Serving the Development of Regional Economy Innovation by Intellectual Properties in Universities  [PDF]

At present, a sound intellectual property management and service system have not been established yet in Chinese colleges and universities. Meanwhile, the lost of existing intellectual property in universities due to small amount, low conversion rate, low technology content and weak brand awareness, hinders the positive effect of intellectual property and affects its transformation and application in China. This article introduces the current problems with intellectual property in universities and gives some countermeasures to promote the use of intellectual property in universities for a better regional economic service.

Exploration of Garment Enterprise Marketing Model Based on “New Retail”  [PDF]

With the introduction of the new concept of retail, the retail industry in our country began to make new changes, the form of clothing retail is also changing, and the appearance of diversification is beginning to appear. Based on the new retail perspective, this paper analyzes the overstock of clothing inventory encountered by Chinese clothing brands in the process of development, the low loyalty of consumers to clothing brands, the declining profits of garment enterprises and the lack of brand precipitation. This paper puts forward the marketing strategy to solve the problem of clothing development in our country under the new retailing: using big data on line to transmit information quickly, improving the efficiency of enterprises in the supply chain system, improving the customer stickiness through perfect offline experience. This paper also puts forward the global fashion marketing model and digital and technical service marketing model for the development of garment enterprises in China under the new retailing, so as to explore a new marketing model suitable for the development of Chinese garment enterprises.

A Study of Pragmatic Equivalence in C-E Translation of Public Signs: A Case Study of Xi’an, China

Abstract: Nowadays, bilingual public signs have great significance to China’s cultural exchanges and economic cooperation with other countries. However, pragmatic failures in C-E translation of public signs occur so frequently that they lower the translation quality and even impair the charm and international image of the cities. The paper introduces Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory and analyzes its application to C-E translation of public signs. Functional Equivalence Theory proves to be quite effective and instructive in the translation of public signs. However, through the practice of the translation of public signs, the author finds that the limitation of this theory is inevitable. Further exploration and enrichment are needed to provide guidance for translation practice. Key words: Public signs; Pragmatic failure; Functional equivalence

Abstract: Using the correspondence between (saturated) nonlinear and (unsaturated) linear dielectric constants, we propose a simple and systematic method to achieve selective excitation of lasing modes that would have been dwarfed by more dominant ones of lower thresholds. The key element of this method is incorporating the control of modal interactions into the spatial pump profile, and it is most valuable in the presence of spatially and spectrally overlapping modes, where it would be difficult to achieve selective excitation otherwise.
Parity-time symmetry in a flat band system

Abstract: In this paper we introduce Parity-Time ($\cal PT$) symmetric perturbation to a one-dimensional Lieb lattice, which is otherwise $\cal P$-symmetric and has a flat band. In the flat band there are a multitude of degenerate dark states, and the degeneracy $N$ increases with the system size. We show that the degeneracy in the flat band is completely lifted due to the non-Hermitian perturbation in general, but it is partially maintained with the half-gain-half-loss perturbation and its ``V" variant that we consider. With these perturbations, we show that both randomly positioned states and pinned states at the symmetry plane in the flat band can undergo thresholdless $\cal PT$ breaking. They are distinguished by their different rates of acquiring non-Hermicity as the $\cal PT$-symmetric perturbation grows, which are insensitive to the system size. Using a degenerate perturbation theory, we derive analytically the rate for the pinned states, whose spatial profiles are also insensitive to the system size. Finally, we find that the presence of weak disorder has a strong effect on modes in the dispersive bands but not on those in the flat band. The latter respond in completely different ways to the growing $\cal PT$-symmetric perturbation, depending on whether they are randomly positioned or pinned.

Abstract: This paper proves a periodic property of Jucys-Murphy elements of the degenerate and non-degenerate cy- clotomic Hecke algebras of type A. We do this by first giving a new closed formula for the KLR idempotents e(i) which, it tuns out, is very efficient computationally.
A KLR Grading of the Brauer Algebras

Abstract: We construct a naturally $\mathbb Z$-graded algebra $\mathscr G_n(\delta)$ over $R$ with KLR-like relations and give an explicit isomorphism between $\mathscr G_n(\delta)$ and $\mathscr B_n(\delta)$, the Brauer algebras over $R$, when $R$ is a field of characteristic 0. This isomorphism allows us to exhibit a non-trivial $\mathbb Z$-grading on the Brauer algebras over a field of characteristic 0. As a byproduct of the proof, we also construct an explicit homogeneous cellular basis for $\mathscr G_n(\delta)$.

Abstract: In this paper we prove that the cyclotomic Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras in type A, $\mathscr R_n^\Lambda$, are $\mathbb{Z}$-free. We then extend the graded cellular basis of $\mathscr R_n^\Lambda$ constructed by Hu and Mathas to $\mathscr R_n$ and use this basis to give a classification of all irreducible $\mathscr R_n$-modules.

Abstract: Klebsiella pneumoniae is a facultative anaerobic gram-negative, non-motile, capsulated, gas-producing rod found widely in nature and often associated with urinary and respiratory infections in humans. Orbital cellulitis with abscess formation caused by K. pneumoniae is rare. Here, we present a case of K. pneumonia-inducing orbital cellulitis with abscess formation in a patient who had undergone an orbital wall fracture prosthesis with hydroxyapatite implantation due to orbital trauma 9 years ago. The patient was treated successfully with antibiotics and surgery.

Abstract: Azilsartan (2-ethoxy-1-([2’-(5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl)biphenyl-4-yl]methyl)-1H-benzimidazole-7-carboxylic acid) is a new angiotensin II receptor antagonist used in the treatment of hypertension. This paper describes the preparation of type I crystal and its single crystal diffraction data, the comparison of the powder diffraction data for both type I and II crystals as well as their stability and solubility in methanol.
