Identification and Estimation of Gaussian Affine Term Structure Models with Regime Switching  [PDF]

We establish that [1]’s parameters are universally unidentified and a subset of their parameterization is over identified. As a solution to the problem with the identifiability, we propose a new representation of double-regime three-factor GDTSMs whose parameters are just-identified when the number of the pricing-with-error yields equals 2. This new parametrization has another advantage over [2] in that we can back out Q parameters and P parameters separately and make the estimation of structural parameters easier. Finally, we show that regime-switching three-factor arbitrage-free dynamic Nelson-Siegel model is a restricted special case of our model.

Abstract: This paper analyzes a simple discrete-time affine multifactor model of the term structure of interest rates in which the pricing factors that follow a Gaussian first-order vector autoregression are observable and there are no possibilities for risk-free arbitrage. We present the theoretical results for the compatible risk-neutral dynamics of observable factors in a maximally flexible way consistent with no-arbitrage under the assumption that the factor loadings of some yields are specified exogenously.

Abstract: Using a two-dimensional ensemble Monte Carlo (EMC) method, electronic nanometer devices with different parameters are studied in detail. Calculation results show that at nanoscale the electric properties of interface inside the devices play an important role in determining the working properties of the devices. By properly arranging device structures, surface charges originated from device fabrication can be exploited to produce a predetermined electric potential in the devices. Based on this fact, two structures that can lead to an asymmetric potential along their nanochannel are proposed for designing strong nonlinear devices. Further studies indicate that Ratchet effect brought by the asymmetric potential results in diode-like current-voltage characteristics of the devices. Through optimizing device parameters, zero threshold voltage can be achieved, which is desired for detecting applications. Moreover, since the devices are at nanoscale, simulation results reveal that used as rectifiers the working frequencies can be up to a few THz.

Abstract: For a long period of time, space has only been regarded as an adjunct or background of other things. As Henri Lefebvre believes that space is not a pure physical space, but is the production of social change, social transition and social experience. It is also the production of the complex social relations together with which space together are involved in the historical process. Therefore only incorporating the street into the framework of social history, and regarding it as a part of the same process of social history, can we grasp its true essence? This paper is based on this to give an account of how Hankow street shaped and developed before 1861 and its role in historical process. This paper also reveals the role of the natural environment in the evolution of social history.

Abstract: Semi-invasive blood sampling devices mimic the way female mosquitoes extract blood from a host. They generally consist of a microneedle, a microactuator for needle insertion, a blood extraction mechanism and a blood glucose sensor. These devices have great potential to overcome the major disadvantages of several current blood glucose monitoring methods. Over last two decades, extensive research has been made in all of these related fields. More recently, several wearable devices for semi-invasive blood sampling have been developed. This review aims at summarizing the current state-of-the-art development and utilization of such wearable devices for continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels, with a special attention on design considerations, fabrication technologies and testing methods.

Abstract: It is important for recommendation system of E business to predicate consumer's habits by eyes gaze tracking.We explore algorithms to identify people's enjoyment by referencing Find s algorithm,it includes getting the weight of eyes parameters by getting the distance of object examples and negative examples,eyes parameters include the eye gazing time,the pupil size,the blink times and the looking back times.We use SEBET (Semantic Extraction Based Eye Tracking) algorithm to calculate the distance of object examples and negative examples,so we can decide whether consumers enjoy the goods or not from the distance,we extract the emotion semantic from eye tracking successfully.Experiments show the efficiency of our algorithm.
