Abstract: this paper presents some arguments intending to demonstrate the strenghts of educating through inquiry as a way, a time and a space for teacher education. starting with the presentation of some principles that base education through inquiry, it is showed, always based on practical examples, how these may be implemented with the use of an inquiry cycle formed by questioning, argumenting and validating. it is also intended to show how this process of teacher education may reach a high for-mal and political quality. in conclusion it is argued that educating through inquiry may help to over-come some historical limitations of teacher education courses.

Abstract: the paper describes the result of qualitative research of two graduate programs that used in their researches an analytical approach called “discursive textual analysis”. this methodology produced four simultaneous results: 1 a reconstruction of the understanding of science and its ways of production; 2 the reconstruction of the research object and its comprehension; 3 the reconstruction of the competence in writing; 4 the reconstruction of the research itself. the authors argue that discursive textual analysis produces an environment in which different elements are reconstructed, especially the understanding of meaning production in science and a continuous transformation of the research itself.

Abstract: O artigo, resultado de pesquisa qualitativa de disserta es e relatos de mestres que utilizaram a análise textual discursiva como ferramenta analítica, descreve a análise textual discursiva como procedimento de pesquisa que permite quatro reconstru es concomitantes: 1. do entendimento de ciência e de seus caminhos de produ o; 2. do objeto da pesquisa e de sua compreens o; 3. da competência de produ o escrita; 4. do sujeito pesquisador. Argumenta-se que a análise textual discursiva cria espa os de reconstru o, envolvendo-se nisto diversificados elementos, especialmente a compreens o da produ o de significados sobre os fen menos investigados e a transforma o do pesquisador. Abstract: in this paper we discuss the characteristics of experimental activities described by teachers and students in a teaching credentials course in chemistry. the research pointed out a set of characteristics that seem to favor the learning process: the bringing up of the student's knowledge; the mediation by peers; the dialogue to set out the student's knowledge; the debate; the validation of arguments; the discussion about the context. the authors argument that, because of the empirical view of science present in chemistry courses, the discussion about the nature of science is important.

Abstract: this article shows how the problematic of solid waste from healthcare services is being approached in undergraduate courses in the healthcare field. the data was obtained from coordinators, professors and students of dentistry, veterinary medicine, nursing and obstetrics, and medicine courses offered by a public university in the south of brazil. it takes into account the need for an educational reform that should include in the pedagogical process a grasp of integrality, articulation, dialogue and problematization, so as to prepare the future professionals for instrumentalizing and facing the issue of solid waste from healthcare services with responsibility and commitment.

Abstract: O texto reflete sobre a constru o identitária de professores, de diferentes áreas do conhecimento, enquanto educadores, que vivenciam a Educa o Ambiental, em nível de Pós-Gradua o e que se constitui a única experiência em Universidade Brasileira. Analisa também as experiências costuradas na teoriza o sobre identidade docente e argumenta sobre a necessidade de, ao estar em um Programa de Educa o Ambiental, assumir a identidade de professores educadores ambientais calcados na experiência. Revela, ainda, que por meio da narrativa em sala de aula, as vivências em constru o v o tomando corpo e estruturando-se para a forma o de professores neste novo ambiente.
