Crystallization properties of Sn--doped Ge--Sb--Te phase--change films

GU Sipeng,HOU Lisong,ZHAO Qitao,

材料研究学报 , 2004,
Abstract: Sn-doped Ge_2Sb_2Te_5 thin films were prepared by RF-sputtering.The effect of Sn- content on their crystallization properties was studied by XRD and DSC.The XRD spectra of the films in the as-deposited and heat-treated states showed that the films changed from amorphous to crystalline states due to heat-treatment and Sn-Te phase appeared.Using DSC data of the amorphous film materials, the activation energies were calculated by measuring the peak crystallization temperatures at different heating rates. It was found that the Ge-Sb-Te-Sn samples have higher activation energy of crystallization than that of the Ge_2Sb_2Te_5 sample. It is concluded from these results that Sn-doping can increase the crystallization rate of the Ge_2Sb_2Te_5 phase-change material, and thereby increase the erasing speed of the material for rewritable optical storage.

Open Journal of Discrete Mathematics (OJDM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ojdm.2013.33023

Let C be a plane convex body. For arbitrary points , a,b ∈E ndenote by │ab│ the Euclidean length of the line-segment ab. Let a1b1 be a longest chord of C parallel to the line-segment ab. The relative distance dc(a,b) between the points a and b is the ratio of the Euclidean distance between a and b to the half of the Euclidean distance between a1 and b1. In this note we prove the triangle inequality in E2 with the relative metric dc( .,.), and apply this inequality to show that 6≤l(P)≤8, where l(P) is the perimeter of the convex polygon P measured in the metric dp

Journal of Tuberculosis Research (JTR) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jtr.2018.64027
Abstract: Tuberculosis is one of the top killer diseases in the globe. The aim of this study was to explore the geographic distribution patterns and clustering characteristics of the disease incidence in terms of both space and time with high relative risk locations for tuberculosis incidence in Beijing area. A retrospective space-time clustering analysis was conducted at the districts level in Beijing area based on reported cases of sputum smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) from 2005 to 2014. Global and local Moran’s I, autocorrelation analysis along with Ord (Gi*) statistics was applied to detect spatial patterns and the hotspot of TB incidence. Furthermore, the Kuldorff’s scan statistics were used to analyze space-time clusters. A total of 40,878 TB cases were reported in Beijing from 2005 to 2014. The annual average incidence rate was 22.11 per 100,000 populations (ranged from 16.55 to 25.71). The seasonal incidence occurred from March to July until late autumn. A higher relative risk area for TB incidence was mainly detected in urban and some rural districts of Beijing. The significant most likely space-time clusters and secondary clusters of TB incidence were scattered diversely in Beijing districts in each study year. The risk population was mainly scattered in urban and dense populated districts, including in few rural districts.

Qinxuan Gu, Yingting Gu
Journal of Service Science and Management (JSSM) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/jssm.2011.41009
Abstract: While there is increasingly strategic importance in knowledge, it is facing new challenges to manage knowledge effectively. The paper studies the motivational construct model for knowledge sharing from the perspective of content theories and social motivation theories. The data collected by using the questionnaire survey from a variety of industries was analyzed on the basis of interviews and pretest. The results of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) showed the motivational construct model for knowledge sharing was comprised of existence motivation, relatedness motivation, growth motivation and norm motivation. The results extended the perspectives for knowledge sharing motivation and provided theoretical evidences for facilitating knowledge sharing behavior.

Engineering (ENG) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/eng.2012.47048
Abstract: In order to get a globally optimized solution for the Elevator Group Control System (EGCS) scheduling problem, an algorithm with an overall optimization function is needed. In this study, Real-time Particle Swarm Optimization (RPSO) is proposed to find an optimal solution to the EGCS scheduling problem. Different traffic patterns and controller mechanisms for EGCS are analyzed. This study focuses on up-peak traffic because of its critical importance to modern office buildings. Simulation results show that EGCS based on Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) using RPSO gives good results for up-peak EGCS scheduling problem. Besides, the elevator real-time scheduling and reallocation functions are realized based on RPSO in case new information is available or the elevator becomes busy because it is unavailable or full. This study contributes a new scheduling algorithm for EGCS, and expands the application of PSO.

American Journal of Industrial and Business Management (AJIBM) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ajibm.2014.42016

Different from the market-oriented control mechanism in British and American, the guanxi-oriented control mechanism is a significant feature in Chinese family business. This paper proposes the concept of family guanxi-oriented control rights allocation for the first time. Based on the analysis about the influencing factors of the family guanxi-oriented control rights allocation, we use the sample companies coming from Zhejiang province of China to do further discussion. We find that 1) the actual controllers of Zhejiang family listed companies mainly have blood relationship; 2) parts of companies allocate the control rights between the family members who have more than three kinds of guanxi; 3) the controlling families prefer to control the board of the listed companies; 4) the intergenerational succession of control rights in Zhejiang family listed companies has been highlighted.

Open Journal of Business and Management (OJBM) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ojbm.2014.24037
Abstract: With the development of the family businesses, family members are coming from diversified source. Under this circumstance, guanxi and potential conflicts between family members are becoming complicated. The allocation of control rights among the family members plays an important role. This paper proposes the allocation concept of the family guanxi-oriented control rights for the first time. On the basis of the review of classical theories about the control rights allocation, it builds a theoretical analysis framework of family control rights allocation embedding guanxi.

Journal of Minerals and Materials Characterization and Engineering (JMMCE) , 2003, DOI: 10.4236/jmmce.2003.21003
Abstract: This paper presents the methods and techniques used in the recently developed JKMRC/FEI Mineral Liberation Analyser (MLA). The MLA system consists of a specially developed software package and a standard modern SEM fitted with an energy dispersive spectrum (EDS) analyser. The on-line program of the MLA software package controls the SEM, captures sample images, performs necessary image analysis and acquires EDS x-ray spectra unattended. Typically, 40 to 100 images (containing 4000 to 10,000 particles) are acquired for each sample block and a dozen blocks (of 30 mm in diameter) are measured overnight. The MLA off-line processing program transforms raw particle image with x-ray data into particle mineral maps and calculates bulk and liberation data from particle mineral maps.
