Perspectivas para um novo modelo de organiza??o do trabalho da enfermagem

Abstract: in this study, based on historical and dialectic materialism, i try to reflect on strategies to re-organize the work of nurses, aiming at minimizing the workers' process of physical and psychical fatigue. the collection of empirical data was carried out along with nurses of two health institutions in the south of the country, by means of interviews, observation and document-based analysis. based on the indicatives, i present a model of organization inspired by the democracy of relationships, focusing on the workers' expression as multidimensional subjects, social actors, and not mere executors of delegated tasks, such as the social and technical division of work has established. a model aiming at establishing interpersonal relations that are more harmonic and horizontal and at sharing knowledge and tasks.

Abstract: this article seeks to reflect upon the process and organization of work in a materials and sterilization center, based upon the perspective of historical and dialectic materialism, as well as theoretical contributions about work in the services sector, considering that even with all the necessities behind this service in health care institutions, it remains an invisible job. such invisibility is due to the limited degree of importance given by academia; who do not consider it to be direct client care; it is valued less and comparable to domestic service. in so doing, it is devalued and generally placed in hidden locations within the health care institution, at times sharing space with waste, dirt, residues, secretions, odors, and the lack of physicians, who are the valued professionals within health care institutions. some of these factors are outlined throughout this reflection, thus permitting a new perspective towards the materials and sterilization center, seeking its visibility within the context of health care institutions.

Abstract: this article presents a reflection concerning the organization of work in nursing in the context of the organization of work in health care. it is theoretically sustained by the historical-dialectic materialism upon human labor process and it is also based upon a critical vision about the profession concept elaborated by the sociology of professions and upon some theories in the field of administration that have been influenced nursing work. the study is based upon data obtained in six (6) field research, three (3) of which resulted in master's theses and three (3) of which resulted in doctorate dissertations. these six researches dealt with the theme of the organization of work in health and nursing, using a qualitative approach and involving the participation of diverse members of nursing team. this study conceptualizes the organization of work from both the workplace perspective and macro-social relationships. it highlights that the transformations that have occurred in the world of work have influenced the work in health care, but the organizational model of work continues influenced by the taylor's logic of work organization. it concludes that the reality of the organization of nursing work can be changed by nursing professionals' collective action in alliance with other organized sectors of society and in accordance with the health care users' needs.

Abstract: En el presente artículo se reflexiona sobre el proceso y la organización del trabajo en el Centro de Material y Esterilización desde la perspectiva del materialismo histórico y dialéctico, así como en contribuciones teóricas sobre el trabajo en el sector de servicios, considerando que a pesar de la necesidad de ese servicio en las instituciones de salud, aún es un trabajo invisible. Tal invisibilidad se debe, entre otros aspectos, a la poca importancia dada por la academia al área; no es un servicio de atención directo con el cliente, y por lo mismo, es menos valorizado. Existe cierta semejanza con el trabajo domestico, el cual también es desvalorizado por ese mismo factor, ya que generalmente se encuentra localizado en lugares escondidos de la institución; es un lugar donde se trata con residuos, suciedad, secreciones, olores, y donde el médico, que es un profesional valorizado en la institución de salud, no se encuentra presente. Algunos de esos aspectos son considerados a lo largo de esta reflexión, ofreciendo una nueva mirada al proceso de trabajo en Centro de Material y Esterilización, buscando con ello, su visibilidad en el contexto de las instituciones de salud.

Abstract: Este é um relato de experiência da aplica o de uma prática assistencial educativa desenvolvida com trabalhadores de enfermagem que sofreram acidentes de trabalho com pérfuro-cortantes. Os objetivos foram elaborar, implementar e avaliar uma prática educativa, que possibilitasse aos trabalhadores uma reflex o coletiva, fundamentada na Teoria Sócio-Humanista. Foram desenvolvidas três oficinas, com grava o das discuss es e posterior análise dos dados. Os encontros propiciaram reflex es sobre a práxis dos participantes, contribuindo para a constru o de uma enfermagem mais crítica. Além de sensibiliza-los para mudan as reais de atitudes, a prática serviu como forma de cuidado para aqueles.

Abstract: reflecting about radiological technologies and the need for permanent education to address issues related to the application of ionizing radiation on radiological nursing practice is of a great importance, due to the technological progress that revolutionized practices in health and, consequently, the nursing care. so, these technologies strongly focus on labor and worker's qualification. this reflection happens in the acting areas of radiological nursing in the radiology services and image diagnosis (srdi), as well as the need for permanent education to the safe praxis on this specialty which is presented through some authors′ studies. primarily, in relation to the radiological protection and need to qualify these workers.

Abstract: this article is a reflection on the production of knowledge about the work process based on some questions: who talks, and from where, about the work in nursing?in this context, it is highlighted the role of the post-graduation courses and of the aben in the production of knowledge in the work process. concerning the role of the post-graduation courses, the research areas focused on this theme are identified and an analysis of that production based on studies performed by a research group (práxis/ufsc) identified its strengths and its fragilities in two studies about the group's production showed in doctorate thesis and masters dissertations. the categories approached were: the organization of work and the worker's health and the gaps identified were related to studies on the objects and the products of the work process, the evaluation of the quality of assistance, the needs of the care subjects, the aim of the work and the praxis itself in the social-historical scenario. finally it is reaffirmed the importance of studies about our own work in its multiple possibilities of objects and approaches.

Abstract: the present text consists of a reflection concerning the challenge within the teaching-learning process concerning nursing care. for such reflection, this text presents arguments in the sense of recognizing the importance of reconstructing the learning process, rescuing dimensions that have been denied by the hegemonic hyper-rationality within teaching. a possible path consists of rescuing sensibility, thus proposing strategies that favor the recognition of the multidimensionality of being human, rescuing the complexity of human existence as subjects for care, as well as that of nursing students.

Abstract: El artículo trata sobre una reflexión teórica acerca del desafío en el proceso de ense araprender los cuidado de enfermería. Para ello, se presentan argumentos reconociéndose la importancia de reconstruir el proceso de aprendizaje, rescatando así las dimensiones los cuales no fueron reconocidas debido a la hiperracionalidad hegemónica en la educación. Uno de los caminos posibles es el rescate de la sensibilidad proponiéndose algunas estratégias que favorezcan el reconocimiento de la multidimensionalidad del ser humano, rescatando pues la complejidad de la existencia humana de los sujetos del cuidado, así como, de los propios alumnos.
