Abstract: the contemporary educational theory is discussing the relevance of the ideals of enlightenment. yet, this debate makes no reference to the secularization process and its strong influence on the articulation of such ideals. this text tries to fill this gap. the tendencies towards omnipotence, the mastering of knowledge, or the suppression of personal imperfections are expressions of a "god complex" (h.-e. richter, 1979) that seems to summon modern men to take the place of a god considered as dead. following these tracks, the author pleads for a reconsideration of the significance of the central ideals of enlightenment in the educational area. he emphasizes the pedagogical importance of a new conflict culture, of a self-reflexive stance based on productive irritations of the envolved partners and of an ethic of recognition.

Abstract: O Servi o Social vive da tens o entre conhecimento teórico-objetivo e um saber que nasce da interven o profissional na realidade social. Em contrapartida à histórica do Servi o Social no Brasil, a forma o do Assistente Social na Alemanha vem lutando, desde sua profissionaliza o, pelo seu reconhecimento acadêmico. O trabalho mostra que o desprezo da experiência prática como fonte do saber é um fen meno das ciências modernas, baseadas na idéia da raz o instrumental. A partir do exemplo da história da parteira enquanto profiss o, retoma-se o conceito clássico da “phrónesis”, isto é, um saber prático que exige a auto-reflex o da práxis com vistas à teoria e vice-versa. Dá-se ao Servi o Social a qualidade de uma ciência compreensiva, fundadora tanto da práxis, quanto da teoria do seu relacionamento mútuo.

Abstract: O artigo questiona o papel atribuído aos direitos humanos na defesa da suposta legitimidade do processo de globaliza o, em particular, quanto à juridifica o da liberdade, na medida em que a tradi es jusnaturalistas e liberais tornam os seres humanos em pessoas de direito. Trata-se de desmascarar a universaliza o de princípios morais que, em última análise, est o a servi o de uma lógica de domina o econ mica, geopolítica e cultural. The article calls into question the role assigned to human rights in the defense of the supposedly legitimate process of globalization, particularly for the juridification of freedom, insofar as natural law and liberal traditions render human beings into rights-bearing persons. It seeks thus to unmask the universalization of moral principles, which ultimately pays lip service to a logic of economic, geopolitical, and cultural domination.

Abstract: ?[目的]开发面向深层语言处理的汉语普通话在线语法(简称汉构)。[应用背景]汉构是在delph-in环境内,基于语法母体,在lkb平台上开发的可计算汉语语法。它的句法和语义分析的理论框架分别是中心语驱动的短语结构语法和最简递归语义。汉构为进一步开发资源型语法和商用奠定良好基础。[方法]根据系统的语言学本体研究对语言知识进行形式化描写;汉构的计算实现经历语法定制、汉语mrs测试套件、词库建设、语法规则定义和mrs描写等环节。[结果]汉构覆盖汉语基本词类和主要语言现象,完全覆盖mrs测试套件。[结论]汉构是最早的中型可计算汉语语法之一,是形式语法理论和计算语言学领域间开展合作研究的桥梁和有效载体。

Abstract: A dúvida expressa por profissionais de que o conhecimento acadêmico n o contribui substancialmente ao saber-fazer na área do Servi o Social, junto ao histórico conflito de conceitos entre Servi o Social, Trabalho Social e Pedagogia Social leva a refor ar os elementos pedagógicos que desde sempre vêm acompanhando os objetivos neste campo. Para que os destinatários em situa o de risco conseguissem tornarem-se os agentes de sua própria vida seria necessário entender o Servi o Social - devido sua tarefa de reintegrar os indivíduos nas suas redes sociais - como projeto de forma o, capaz de enfocar os casos particulares, sua reconstru o biográfica e o desenvolvimento dos devidos instrumentos metodológicos.
Continuous Convective-Sedimentation Assembly of Colloidal Microsphere Coatings for Biotechnology Applications

Abstract: Continuous convective-sedimentation assembly (CCSA) is a deposition method that constantly supplies the coating suspension to the meniscus behind the coating knife by inline injection, allowing for steady-state deposition of ordered colloids (which may include particles or cells or live cell-particle blends) by water evaporation. The constant inflow of suspended particles available for transport to the drying front yields colloidal arrays with significantly larger surface areas than previously described and thus expands the ability of convective assembly to deposit monolayers or very thin films of multiple sizes of particles on large surfaces. Using sulfated polystyrene microspheres as a model system, this study shows how tunable process parameters, namely particle concentration, fluid sonication, and fluid density, influence coating homogeneity when the meniscus is continuously supplied. Fluid density and fluid flow-path sonication affect particle sedimentation and distribution. Coating microstructure, analyzed in terms of void space, does not vary significantly with relative humidity or suspended particle concentration. This study evaluated two configurations of the continuous convective assembly method in terms of ability to control coating microstructure by varying the number of suspended polymer particles available for transport to the coating drying front through variations in the meniscus volume.
Ink-Jet Printing of Gluconobacter oxydans: Micropatterned Coatings As High Surface-to-Volume Ratio Bio-Reactive Coatings

Abstract: We formulated a latex ink for ink-jet deposition of viable Gram-negative bacterium Gluconobacter oxydans as a model adhesive, thin, highly bio-reactive microstructured microbial coating. Control of G. oxydans latex-based ink viscosity by dilution with water allowed ink-jet piezoelectric droplet deposition of 30 × 30 arrays of two or three droplets/dot microstructures on a polyester substrate. Profilometry analysis was used to study the resulting dry microstructures. Arrays of individual dots with base diameters of ~233–241 μm were obtained. Ring-shaped dots with dot edges higher than the center, 2.2 and 0.9 μm respectively, were obtained when a one-to-four diluted ink was used. With a less diluted ink (one-to-two diluted), the microstructure became more uniform with an average height of 3.0 μm, but the ink-jet printability was more difficult. Reactivity of the ink-jet deposited microstructures following drying and rehydration was studied in a non-growth medium by oxidation of 50 g/L D-sorbitol to L-sorbose, and a high dot volumetric reaction rate was measured (~435 g·L ?1·h ?1). These results indicate that latex ink microstructures generated by ink-jet printing may hold considerable potential for 3D fabrication of high surface-to-volume ratio biocoatings for use as microbial biosensors with the aim of coating microbes as reactive biosensors on electronic devices and circuit chips.
Engineering Cellular Photocomposite Materials Using Convective Assembly

Abstract: Fabricating industrial-scale photoreactive composite materials containing living cells, requires a deposition strategy that unifies colloid science and cell biology. Convective assembly can rapidly deposit suspended particles, including whole cells and waterborne latex polymer particles into thin (<10 μm thick), organized films with engineered adhesion, composition, thickness, and particle packing. These highly ordered composites can stabilize the diverse functions of photosynthetic cells for use as biophotoabsorbers, as artificial leaves for hydrogen or oxygen evolution, carbon dioxide assimilation, and add self-cleaning capabilities for releasing or digesting surface contaminants. This paper reviews the non-biological convective assembly literature, with an emphasis on how the method can be modified to deposit living cells starting from a batch process to its current state as a continuous process capable of fabricating larger multi-layer biocomposite coatings from diverse particle suspensions. Further development of this method will help solve the challenges of engineering multi-layered cellular photocomposite materials with high reactivity, stability, and robustness by clarifying how process, substrate, and particle parameters affect coating microstructure. We also describe how these methods can be used to selectively immobilize photosynthetic cells to create biomimetic leaves and compare these biocomposite coatings to other cellular encapsulation systems.
