Abstract: the phenytoin is an anticonvulsant whose high incidence of gingival hyperplasia in epileptic patient orientated clinical investigations of the healing potential of this drug. the following text brings the report of his use in lesion caused by radiotherapy used in a patient carrier of larynx cancer. get epithelium was obtained after approximately 14 days of topical application of the phenytoin endovenous solution. this result can be a relevant die for the development of products and care forms in the treatment of the lesions in radiotherapy.
Território e Materialidade: wikileaks e o controle do espa o informacional

Abstract: The wikileaks phenomenon has attracted attention from the international media and scholars from the field of network and technology studies, but been rarely approached by geographers, urban planners and architects, or other researchers interested by urban and spatial studies. Almost nothing is written about possible territorial interpretations of this case, or yet about conditions and consequences for space of this geopolitical, journalistic and communicational phenomenon. In this essay, it is proposed a spatial approach, or more specifically a territorial approach, for explaining a paradoxical coexistence between the freedom in which protests, cyberactivism and counter-surveillance spread through the informational space, and the attempts to control (legally) – and so, territorially within the limits of Nation-sates – these “detours” of activities in the Net. Territory as a geographical concept is used in this essay as a variable to help us better understand the linkage between control and informational space, having the wikileaks case as a reference.
A oferta das empresas e a competitividade dos destinos turísticos

Abstract: the main goal is to study the tourism destinations competitiveness, in terms of enterprises supply and the national tourism organizations strategy. the methodology includes bibliographic references, the concepts and competitiveness models support, in tourism destinations. some empirical results of 415 portuguese enterprises were published, as concerns the attractiveness and competitiveness of portugal, as tourism destination. the results suggest some prudence to avoid increasing and excessive mass tourism, and we had concluded that the main challenge is the quality of the supply, as a whole, in order to value and preserve the existent tourism resources. the strategic actions had resulted by partnerships among the different stakeholders.
Nomes dos vatonga de Inhambane: entre a ?tradi??o? e a ?modernidade?

Abstract: the article deals with names of people among the vatonga, an ethnic group originally found in the bay of inhambane (mozambique) and surrounding areas, and it presents facts on their socio-cultural dimension and dynamic nature, as a consequence of multiple exogenous influence. as it addresses issues on anthroponyms used by the vatonga of inhambane, the article assumes that, despite a guiding pattern, the process of their construction is creative, heterogeneous and dynamic. historical contingencies affecting the social life of the tonga community dictated that various influences have an impact on the practice of name creation. as a consequence, there are clear signs of significant change in the course of time, due mainly to portuguese colonial presence and to the policy of assimilation. as a result portuguese influence is striking, being evident in the majority of the names used by those considering themselves to be vatonga.

Abstract: O presente trabalho tem como principal objectivo abordar a competitividade dos destinos turístico a partir da oferta das empresas e das ac es estratégicas dos poderes públicos. A metodologia adoptada assenta na revis o bibliográfica, com recurso a conceitos e a modelos de competitividade aplicáveis aos destinos turísticos. Foram divulgados alguns resultados de um trabalho empírico, aplicado a 415 empresas portuguesas, relativamente à competitividade e atractividade de Portugal enquanto destino turístico. Os resultados obtidos apontam para alguma prudência no que respeita a um crescimento excessivo de turistas, de tipo quantitativo, tendo-se concluído que a aposta deve ser feita na qualidade da oferta no seu conjunto, por forma a valorizar e preservar os recursos turísticos existentes. As ac es estratégicas resultam de parcerias entre os vários stakeholders. Abstract: This exploratory study focuses on the use potential of infographics, visualization techniques and information design to enhance access to typography. An analysis and synthesis of methods is proposed and added to experience reports that guide the creation of informational graphics, from where the idea that the construction process and not only the query use of information graphics can be used in the learning curve, and work as its agent. Considering points of difficulty in the study of typography, it is suggested an action-oriented resource to improve the communication process and understanding the content of typography: the creation of infographics strictly directed to the topic that will serve both as passive objects of consultation, to guise communication and research, and also as a practical exercise that stimulates basic skills of the designer. The information visualization and infographics are widely used in the print media and the sciences that deal with the complexity in order to reduce the barriers to understanding the content. This feature proves useful to deal with typography, a basic knowledge for the communication and visual design area that relates to both the project and the conscious use of alphabetic symbols in the construction of the message. This research also indicates that the unfolding of the object under study can be of didactical and pedagogical application and also be useful for the information transmission in other areas, not limited to the typography’s world, while it reveals itself as a language on the rise that has eyes in the hybridity of the communication processes in visual imagery. Este estudo de caráter exploratório concentra-se em demonstrar possibilidades de uso de infográficos, técnicas de visualiza o e de design da informa o para facilitar o acesso à tipografia. Prop e-se uma análise e síntese de métodos e relatos de experiências que orientam a cria o de gráficos informacionais, de onde se extrai a ideia de que o processo de constru o e n o somente a consulta de infográficos também pode ser utilizado na curva de aprendizagem, funcionando como seu agente. Considerando pontos de dificuldade no estudo de tipografia, sugere-se um recurso orientado a aprimorar o processo comunicacional e de compreens o de conteúdo de tipografia: a cria o de infográficos estritamente direcionados ao tema que atuar o tanto como objetos passivos de consulta, como fios condutores da comunica o e da investiga o e também como exercício prático que estimula habilidades básicas do designer. Abstract: O presente artigo debru a-se sobre os nomes de pessoas que se associam à comunidade tonga, um grupo étnico originalmente da regi o da Baía de Inhambane (Mo ambique) e zonas circunvizinhas, adiantando alguns subsídios relativos à sua dimens o sociocultural e ao seu carácter dinamico, como consequência da multiplicidade de influências de origem exógena. Ao tecer considera es à volta dos antropónimos usados entre os vatonga de Inhambane, assume que, apesar de apresentarem um padr o orientador, o processo da sua constru o é criativo, heterogéneo e dinamico. Contingências históricas que têm afectado a vida social da comunidade tonga ditam que influências variadas tenham tido impacto nas práticas de cria o de nomes, havendo, por isso, sinais evidentes de muta es significativas ao longo do tempo, principalmente em consequência da presen a colonial portuguesa e implanta o da política de assimila o. Assim, a influência portuguesa é marcante, sendo notória na maioria dos nomes usados pelos que se consideram vatonga.
