O PET-Saúde e sua interlocu??o com o Pró-Saúde a partir da pesquisa: o relato dessa experiência
Ferraz, Lucimare;
Revista Brasileira de Educa??o Médica , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S0100-55022012000200023
Abstract: this case report discusses the successful implementation and integration of the health research course conducted by pró-saúde in the educational program for health work (pet-saúde). participants in the course included tutors, preceptors, and students of medicine, nursing, physical education, physical therapy, nutrition, psychology, and social work at the chapecó regional community university. the experience resulted in the development of 18 research projects in pet-saúde in the municipality of chapecó, santa catarina state, in the year 2009. the article concludes that this experience reiterates the pró-saúde initiative to motivate not only academia, but also frontline health professionals, to conduct scientific research capable of producing essential knowledge for intervening in health reality.

Ilha do Desterro , 2008,

Abstract: The present article has a central purpose, presupposed from rhetorical stylistic proposed by the american Michael Rifaterre, analyze the message perception by the reader, the reaction by the part of the reader in presence of the book Esaú and Jacó by Machado de Assis. It intends to bring in connection and to investigate everything as it is called "facts of styles", the ruptures, the mistakes" that the author uses to have the total control of "decodification" and in what manner this will affect the reader to understand the act. Even though the article tries to show and localization in the act the stylistic context, the linguistic patter, and the gathering of the stylistic processes, the low prevision, the clichés, the oppositions contrasts-contexts and carnival's influence into Literature (by Bakhtin). No presente artigo, analisaremos Esaú e Jacó a partir dos pressupostos teóricos da Estilística estrutural proposta por Michael Riffaterre.
Acompanhar ao outro mundo: a morte nas confrarias de braga no século XVIII. Estudo preliminar
Tiago Ferraz
CEM : Cultura, Espa?o & Memória , 2012,
Abstract: This article wants to study the way how the confraternities of Braga, in the XVIII century made company to their fellow members in the moment of the transport of their corpse to the place of burial. It bases on the archives of the churches of Santa Cruz, S o Vicente, Sé and Senhora a Branca, of the city of Braga. On the article are studied the differences that existed between the more powerful confraternities and the more smaller ones on the mobilization of it’s members to make company of the corpses of their brethrens. In the same time it is also made one analyse of the paid accompaniments made by these institutions to the nonmembers.
Field Theory Renormalization Group: The Tomonaga-Luttinger Model Revisited
A. Ferraz
Physics , 2005, DOI: 10.1088/0305-4470/39/25/S11
Abstract: We apply field theoretical renormalization group (RG) methods to describe the Tomonaga-Luttinger model as an important test ground to deal with spin-charge separation effects in higher spatial dimensions. We compute the anomalous dimension associated with the one-particle Green's functions $G_{(a)R}$. We calculate the RG equations for the renormalized forward couplings $g_{2R}$ and $g_{4R}$ up to two-loop order and demonstrate that they don't flow in the vicinities of the Fermi points (FPs). We solve the Callan-Symanzik equation for $G_{(a)R}$ in the neighborhood of the FPs. We calculate the related spectral function and the momentum distribution function at $p=k_{F},p_{0}=\omega$. We compute the renormalized one-particle irreducible function $\Gamma_{(+)R}^{(2)}(p,p_{0}=0;\Lambda)$ and show it carries important spin-charge separation effects in agreement with well known results. Finally we discuss the implementation of the RG scheme taking into account the important simplifications produced by the Ward identities.
Fermi Surface Renormalization in Two Spatial Dimensions
A. Ferraz
Physics , 2002, DOI: 10.1209/epl/i2003-00223-5
Abstract: We discuss the renormalization induced by interactions of a two-dimensional truncated Fermi surface (FS) model.Using a field theoretical renormalization group method we calculate the critical renormalized physical chemical potential. We show that it either vanishes or approaches a non-zero value. We argue that the vanishing of the chemical potential is indicative of a further truncation of the FS we started with and might well represent an insulating spin liquid phase.
Non-Fermi Liquid in a Truncated Two-Dimensional Fermi Surface
A. Ferraz
Physics , 2001,
Abstract: Using perturbation theory and the field theoretical renormalization group approach we consider a two-dimensional anisotropic truncated Fermi Surface((FS) ) with both flat and curved sectors which approximately simulates the ``cold'' and ``hot'' spots in the cuprate superconductors. We calculate the one-particle two-loop irreducible functions (\Gamma ^{(2)}) and (\Gamma ^{(4)}) as well as the spin, the charge and pairing response functions up to one-loop order. We find non-trivial infrared stable fixed points and we show that there are important effects produced by the mixing of the existing scattering channels in higher order of perturbation theory. Our results indicate that the ``cold `` spots are turned into a non-Fermi liquid with divergents (\partial \Sigma_{0}/\partial p_{0}) and (\partial \Sigma_{0}/\partial \bar{p}), a vanishing (Z) and either a finite or zero ``Fermi velocity'' at (FS) when the effects produced by the flat portions are taken into account.
