Influence of oxide scales on the corrosion behaviors of B510L hot-rolled steel strips

Abstract: The influence of oxide scales on the corrosion behaviors of B510L hot-rolled steel strips was investigated in this study. Focused ion beams and scanning electron microscopy were used to observe the morphologies of oxide scales on the surface and cross sections of the hot-rolled steel. Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction were used for the phase analysis of the oxide scales and corrosion products. The corrosion potential and impedance were measured by anodic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. According to the results, oxide scales on the hot-rolled strips mainly comprise iron and iron oxides. The correlation between mass gain and test time follows a power exponential rule in the damp-heat test. The corrosion products are found to be mainly composed of γ-FeOOH, Fe3O4, α-FeOOH, and γ-Fe2O3. The contents of the corrosion products are different on the surfaces of the steels with and without oxide scales. The steel with oxide scales is found to show a higher corrosion resistance and lower corrosion rate.
Improvement on generalised synchronisation of chaotic systems

Abstract: In this paper, the problem of generalised synchronisation of two different chaotic systems is investigated. Some less conservative conditions are derived using linear matrix inequality other than existing results. Furthermore, a simple adaptive control scheme is proposed to achieve the generalised synchronisation of chaotic systems. The proposed method is simple and easy to implement in practice and can be applied to secure communications. Numerical simulations are also given to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the theoretical analysis.
Implementation of Improved FNG State Machine

Abstract: To improve the efficiency of network fault management system, an improved FNG state machine is introduced in original CFM technology. Special fault shielding mechanism with alarm mechanism of the priority level is added. The fault life duration and fault reproduction duration are set. The priority level is determined before printing alarm messages. In running, the user interface of the system could print alarm messages with 3 grades, and will not repeatedly print the same warning. Testing results show that the improved FNG state machine can reflect the high-level alarm and single display repetitive fault alarms. It won't show transient fault alarms, thereby reduces the labor mount of network administrator to locate fault, and improves work efficiency.
Type of integral and reduction for a generalized Birkhoffian system

Abstract: This paper studies a type of integral and reduction of the generalized Birkhoffian system. An existent condition and the form of the integral are obtained. By using the integral, the dimension of the system can be reduced two degrees. An example is given to illustrate the application of the results.
Preparation and mechanism of Fe-K/AC for catalytic oxidation of hydrogen sulfide

Abstract: Modified activated carbon Fe-K/AC(activated carbon supported iron and potassium) was used as an oxidation catalyst for low concentration hydrogen sulfide(H2S) removed.The orthogonal design method was introduced in the research of Fe-K/AC preparation to determine the optimum condition and to measure the impact of different factors.Then,catalytic activity and mechanism on Fe-K/AC catalyst for oxidation of hydrogen sulfide was investigated.The optimum preparation condition of Fe-K/AC with high sulfur capacity and selectivity is that the iron and potassium content is 0.5% and 5.0%,respectively;and the calcination temperature and the Fe2+/Fe3+ atomic ratio is 600 ℃ and 0.5,respectively.The order of their influences is potassium content > iron content > calcination temperature > Fe2+/Fe3+ atomic ratio.Results from structural parameters and surface morphology of sorbents reveal that iron metal oxide loaded on the surface of activated carbon has the selective catalytic oxidation activity of hydrogen sulfide to element sulfur.Alkali metal oxide,which changes basic surface groups,has a synergistic effect on the catalytic oxidation of hydrogen sulfide.However,the catalytic activity decreases due to excessive metal oxides loadings that may block the accessibility of micropores and reduce the surface area.

Abstract: Ten thousands of unit-cell multilayer heterosturctures, SrNb0.05Ti0.95O3/La0.9Sr0.1MnO3]3 (SNTO/LSMO), have been epitaxial grown on SrTiO3 (001) substrates by laser molecular beam epitaxy. The monitor of in-situ reflection high-energy electron diffraction demonstrates that the heterosturctures are layer-by-layer epitaxial growth. Atomic force microscope observation indicates that the surface of the heterosturcture is atomically smooth. The measurements of cross-sectional low magnification and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy as well as the corresponding selected area electron diffraction reveal that the interfaces are of perfect orientation, and the epitaxial crystalline structure shows the orientation relation of SNTO(001)//LSMO(001), and SNTO100]//LSMO100].

Abstract: Applications with real-time constraints are not only growing in the field of embedded system,but gaining popularity in the desktop environment as well. At the same time, using an opened source system,Linux,as the supported OS is more and more appealing to many developers. So it is regarded as a potential aspect by many users to improve Linux performance to satisfy the real-time requirements. The article discusses the mutex implementation of Linux in depth and on the basis of that, gives rise to methods to improve the deficiency. An implementation under version of 2. 2 series is brought forward.

Abstract: Applications with real-time constraints are not only growing in the field of embedded system, but gaining popularity in the desktop environment as well. In order to satisfy the need of users in these aspects, RFRTOS real-time OS based on Redflag Linux is developed. In this paper, the real-time support about real-time scheduling, preempted kernel, and fine-grain timer in RFRTOS is mainly discussed. The experimental results on RFRTOS show that the improvement gives a better result for applications with real time constraint than original Linux kernel.
Lie-form invariance of the Lagrange system

Abstract: In this paper, the Lie-form invariance of the Lagrange system is studied. The definition and the criterion of the Lie-form invariance of the Lagrange system are given. The Hojman conserved quantity and a new type of conserved quantity deduced from the Lie-form invariance are obtained. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate the application of the results.
A new conserved quantity of mechanical systems with differential constraints

Abstract: A new conserved quantity of non-Noether symmetry for the mechanical systems with differential constraints is studied. First, the differential equations of motion of the systems are established. Then, the determining equations and restriction equations of the non-Noether symmetry are obtained and a new conserved quantity is given. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.
