A pesquisa de interven??o na psicologia da educa??o matemática: aspectos conceituais e metodológicos

Abstract: we focus on one of the great current challenges in psychology: interventional research aimed at generating transformation while demonstrating its underlying process. we detail our theoretical and methodological approach and describe an interventional study in the psychology of mathematics education. the psychology of knowledge and our method are based on four connected theoretical aspects: 1. the evidence of interaction between cognitive and social regulations; 2. the role of semiotic mediation in human psychological development; 3. the effects of sign systems on psychological development and individual communication; 4. the realisation that human actions are not at random, but rather content-based social practices. the study involved a double challenge: to develop a procedure to bring a mathematics teacher to a grasp of consciousness regarding the paradigm underpinning her practice, and to reformulate it on the basis of a deliberate articulation between psycho-pedagogical intervention and research, allowing us to: 1. study the students' conceptual acquisitions, and 2. analyse the mediation processes involved in the interpersonal relations, taking into account the nature of the material utilised and the activities proposed. the activities proposed and the quality of the mediated activity meant that students acquired new conceptual competence and the teacher developed new competence as a knowledge mediator.

Abstract: after a brief review of the literature on the theme and some information on the production of teaching material for adult and youth education elaborated in the 1980's, this article presents different materials produced in the 1990s as the political-pedagogical program of the workers' central organization (cut); and the teaching materials it produced for the integrar (to integrate) and integra??o (integration) programmes; and the pedagogical proposal elaborated by the landless rural workers' movement - mst - and the material used in its rural camps and settlements; and the concept of totalities of knowledge in the books palavras de trabalhador (worker's word), published by the system of adult and youth education of the municipality of porto alegre, products of the educational experience with young and adult workers. it concludes exploring points that are common to all the studied teaching materials.

Abstract: this paper attempts to analyze the integration of subjective, developmental and cognitive aspects of semiotic processes in a psychological context with the historical, institutional, and ideological grounding of sign systems in the sociocultural context. in this analysis, arguments against the mind/body dichotomy are reviewed, their implications examined and relations between the process of semiotic mediation and the theory of social representations are established. a psychosocial synthesis, providing both theoretical and empirical guidelines for developmental psychology, is proposed.. this is carried out through the integration of the analysis of speech acts in the study of personal paradigms, processes of developing conscious awareness and cognitive and metacognitive development.

Abstract:

The central aim in this research was to assess investors’ accounting information interpretation skills. Therefore, it was assessed how different profit components would affect the future profitability of publicly traded Brazilian companies. Through a sample of all Brazilian public companies listed in Bovespa from 1995 to 2010, the research results demonstrated that current accruals were incapable of explaining future abnormal return behavior in the firms analyzed. In addition, no significant abnormal returns were reached in an accruals-based investment strategy, indicating that investors would be capable of interpreting and pricing accounting data.

Abstract: hedonic pricing models often don't take into account the cross-classified hierarchical nature of the office rental markets. this paper employs a cross-classified multilevel model (hcm2) to examine the impact that office characteristics, district and commercial zones have on rental prices in s?o paulo. using a sample of 277 properties from 15 districts cross-classified with 10 commercial zones, multilevel representativeness is found for the effects of the properties', districts' and zones' characteristics, considering the differentiation of mean prices in 2008.

Abstract: O presente estudo teve por objetivo investigar e analisar as estratégias de articula o entre ensino, pesquisa e extens o promovidas por docentes de uma universidade pública brasileira. O estudo caracteriza-se como pesquisa qualitativa, de cunho exploratório-descritivo. Os resultados apontam que a indissociabilidade pode ser fortalecida por meio do desenvolvimento de pesquisas pautadas pela articula o disciplinar, integra o das unidades acadêmicas, institui es e sujeitos em diferentes processos de forma o; aproxima o dos temas de pesquisa com as disciplinas desenvolvidas na gradua o; inser o de docentes na pós-gradua o; desenvolvimento de projetos vinculados a Educa o Básica, tais como PIBID, Novos Talentos, entre outros.The goal of the present study is to investigate and analyze the strategies of articulation between teaching, research and continuing education promoted by the faculty of a Brazilian public university. This study is qualitative research, with exploratory and descriptive nature. The results demonstrate that indissolubility can be strengthened by conducting research ruled by disciplinary articulation; integration of academic units, of institutions and of subjects in different formation processes; drawing research themes closer to disciplines developed in the undergraduate program; insertion of the faculty in the Graduate Program; and the development of projects connected to Basic Education, such as PIBID and Novos Talentos (New Talents), among others.
