Abstract: we act according to the methodological perspective of the investigation-action school, developing plans, involving teachers and students in the use of the technological and communicative means in classroom activities and we specify school actions of natural science, math and its technologies. we improve communication, self-reflection of those involved in the school process, sharing planning, trying to consolidate the dialogue in the classroom, problematizing situations, concepts and how to solve the problems, having as a mediator the scientific-technological knowledge, previously thematized and organized.

Abstract: O foco deste trabalho s o as a es educativas do projeto CUIA1 implementadas nos assentamentos de reforma agrária brasileira, na macrorregi o sul do RS. Destacamos a inser o sócio-educacional a partir da historicidade e da forma o de professores no contexto dos movimentos sociais. A meta, nesse sentido, foi implementar uma prática educacional diferenciada e construir a identidade de um trabalho colaborativo,resgatando uma vivência histórica dos professores dos assentamentos de reforma agrária. Neste sentido, s o descritas algumas a es estratégicas, a partir da investiga o temática, apostando na educa o continuada, na escolaridade recorrente, explicitando a prática sócio-educacional dos sujeitos envolvidos no contexto da reforma agrária. A implementa o tem sido balizada pelas teorias-guia, investiga o-a oeducacional emancipatória e educa o dialógico-problematizadora, potencializando assim práticas participativas-ativas contextualizadas historicamente. Ressaltamos o papel formativo-educativo da universidade pública nos movimentos sociais e a constru o da nossa prática educacional dialógico-problematizadora em sala de aula. Em termos de projeto, a meta é a escolariza o recorrente2 e a capacita oalfabetizadora de jovens e adultos, via investiga o-a o no processo educativo, de forma colaborativa, com vista à produ o da transforma o cultural-escolar. Dessa forma, desenvolvemos um empreendimento educacional no escopo da forma o de professores dos assentamentos de reforma agrária, consolidando uma parceria entre sujeitos universitários e integrantes dos movimentos sociais.Palavras-chave: Forma o de Professores, Investiga o-a o educacional emancipatória, Educa o dialógico-problematizadora
A constru o do conhecimento prático do professor de educa o física: um estudo de caso etnográfico

Abstract: A investiga o objetivou descrever o processo de constru o do conhecimento prático do professor de Educa o Física, identificando os aspectos que influenciam e como s o organizados. A abordagem foi qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso etnográfico. Os instrumentos foram a observa o participante, a análise de documentos e a entrevista semi-estruturada. A dinamica utilizada foi de perceber, registrar, ordenar, comparar, interpretar, relacionar e especular sobre o processo. Chegou-se a algumas considera es finais: (a) que o processo foi influenciado pelos condicionantes sociais, tanto internos quanto externos às práticas pedagógicas, mas, principalmente, pelas concep es de ensino; (b) que o processo estabelecido levou os professores a construírem os seus conhecimentos práticos, mais especificamente a “como estruturar o ensino” e a “como manter o controle dos alunos”; (c) que a organiza o dos conhecimentos práticos foi efetuada a partir das concep es de ensino; (d) que os professores devem ser entendidos como sujeitos com capacidades de gerar conhecimentos; e (e) que s o diversos os conhecimentos que informam a prática pedagógica dos professores, do mesmo modo que s o variadas as fontes que originam estes conhecimentos. Ensino-aprendizagem colaborativo mediado pelo Wiki do Moodle

Abstract: through the wiki moodle, we developed distance education activities in the physics course at ufsm, aiming at producing a hypermedia school subject related to the discipline physics 2 structuring teaching theme: heat, environment and uses of energy (coming from the pcn+), placing the problematic dialogue in the transversal theme "environment". we designed this activity, described as a collaborative production of hypermedia for scientific-technological dissemination, over the period of school discipline didactic i from the physics course. the working group mediated by the wiki moodle has been implemented through the pea (planning, execution, and assessment). the results are positive on the use of technology mediation concerning problematic dialogue and empowerment, in this type of collaborative and distance education.

Abstract: we have analyzed a processual proposal which has been built through investigations and actions in the formal physics teaching which seeks the changing of technological equipment "turned into" reflective, inquiring and conscious generating equipment. the process is committed with both thematic dimensions of teaching/learning and science, technology and society approach. the strategy is based in the constuction of a investigation-action program. the results show improvement of teachers knowledge in this progressive direction, on the decoding of equipments or on the significant learning of physics universals linked to the traditional or contemporary technological products, usually known by the future teachers and their high school learners students. we emphasized the split between technology, too accessible to non-reflective citizens, and the not accessible scientific knowledge. this is justified due to the unfolding of the greek traditional disjunction between techné and episteme and, more recently, by the results of applied sinence as conviction: the imperative improvement of life quality for the progress of the technology sets beyond any questioning. it time to face this split in the physics/natural science teaching and search the links for learning improvement, considering the strong effective interest when studentes deal with the technological "objects".

Fluxo difusivo de potássio em solos sob diferentes níveis de umidade e de compacta??o

Abstract: potassium, as well as phosphorus, is transported by diffusion to the absortion zone. eight levels of soil moisture (10, 20, 40, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100%), defined as a percentage of the soil total porosity, were combined with two soil densities (the natural bulk density and a compaction corresponding to 30% above the natural bulk density) in three soil samples, varying in their physiochemical characteristics, and the potassium diffusive flux (kdf) was measured using resin strips. to determine kdf, the resin strips were placed on the top of the soil samples. chambers made of pvc rings (10 cm in diameter and 5 cm high) were used, which were placed in plastic bags to avoid evaporation, and maintained under controlled temperature (25 ± 3 oc) for 15 days. after this period of time the resin strips were removed, washed with destilled water, and k extracted by a nh4cl 0.8 mol l-1 + hcl 0.2 mol l-1 solution. kdf increased with soil moisture levels and decreased with compaction. when the soil was compacted, a linear relation between moisture levels and kdf was observed. however, for non-compacted soils, this relation was observed only for the sandy soil, not for the more clayey ones. it was concluded that the linear relation between kdf and soil moisture content, as predicted by the diffusion equation, is not universal and depends upon the range of soil moistures under consideration.
Prevalence of high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions and cervical cancer among patients with unsatisfactory colposcopic examination, without visible lesion

Abstract: context and objective: cervical cancer is a serious public health problem in brazil. for patients with unsatisfactory colposcopic examinations without visible lesions, but with cervical cytological tests suggesting high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (hsil), the national recommendation is to repeat cervical cytological tests after three months. our aim was to assess the prevalence of hsil and cancer among patients with initial cervical cytological tests suggestive of hsil but with unsatisfactory colposcopic examinations without visible lesions, in order to contribute towards the discussion regarding a more effective clinical approach that might diminish the likelihood of patient abandonment of follow-up before appropriate diagnosis and treatment. design and setting: cross-sectional study in colposcopy clinic of iff/fiocruz. method: patients admitted between december 1989 and april 2007 with cytological diagnoses of hsil but with unsatisfactory colposcopic examinations without visible lesions underwent cervical cone biopsy. results: sixty-five such patients were included, comprising 33.8% with hsil and 4.6% with cancer, confirmed histologically. the other patients presented low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (26.1%), glandular dysplasia (1.5%) and absence of disease (33.8%). conclusion: the observed prevalence of cancer and hsil does not seem to be enough to justify immediate referral for cone biopsies to investigate the cervical canal in these cases. the findings suggest that the recommendation of repeated cytological tests following an initial one with hsil, among patients with unsatisfactory colposcopic examinations without visible lesions, is appropriate in our setting. efforts are needed to ensure adherence to follow-up protocols in order to reduce the chances of losses.
Cervical stenosis following electrosurgical conization

Abstract: context and objective: cervical stenosis is a postoperative complication of procedures for treating preinvasive lesions of the cervix and takes on particular importance due to the clinical repercussions associated with it. furthermore, it causes limitations in relation to cytological and colposcopic follow-up. the aim here was to assess the incidence of cervical stenosis among a cohort of patients who underwent electrosurgical conization and to identify possible prognostic factors associated with its occurrence. design and setting: retrospective study at gynecology and obstetrics department, instituto fernandes figueira, rio de janeiro. methods:this was an observational study among a cohort of patients who underwent electrosurgical conization of the uterine cervix. the possible predictive variables were analyzed as bivariate means between the groups with and without stenosis. we also calculated the incidence density rate ratio for cervical stenosis in relation to each possible predictive variable and the respective confidence intervals (95%). levels of 5% were considered significant. results: 274 patients who underwent electrosurgical conization of the uterine cervix with a minimum follow-up period of six months were included. the crude incidence of cervical stenosis was 7.66% and the incidence density was 3.3/1,000 patients-month. conclusions: we did not find associations between the variables for stenosis. however, we observed borderline significance levels relating to hemorrhagic complications before and after the operation (p = 0.089).
