Fabrication and Photoluminescence Properties of ZnO Nanorods

Abstract: ZnO nanorods are successfully synthesized by annealing the precursors in argon with the chemical precipitation method. The structural and optical properties of ZnO nanorods are investigated. As annealing temperature increases, the intensity of the green emission increases while the intensity of the yellow emission decreases. The result suggests that the green emission depends strongly on the annealing temperature.

Abstract: We employ photoluminescence (PL) and time-resolved PL to study exciton localization effect in InGaN epilayers. By measuring the exciton decay time as a function of the monitored emission energy at different temperatures, we have found unusual behaviour of the energy dependence in the PL decay process. At low temperature, the measured PL decay time increases with the emission energy. It decreases with the emission energy at 200K, and remains nearly constant at the intermediate temperature of 120K. We have studied the dot size effect on the radiative recombination time by calculating the temperature dependence of the exciton recombination lifetime in quantum dots, and have found that the observed behaviour can be well correlated to the exciton localization in quantum dots. This suggestion is further supported by steady state PL results

Abstract: A europium complex Eu (DBM)3 TPPO (Eu tris(benzoylmethide)-(triphenylphosphine oxide)) and silicon nanoparticles have been hybridized.The hybridization can evidently change the photoluminescence (PL) characteristics of the Eu complex in the following aspects:under an excitation of 390nm,the intensity of the PL peak at 611nm due to the ^5Du-^7F2 transition of the Eu^3 ions has been increased by 30%,and thc integrated PL intensity in the visible range has been increased by nearly 3 times;the PL excitation efficiency beyond 440nm has been improved cvidently;the peak in the PL excitation spectrum shifts from 408nm to 388nm,and the PL decay time decreases from 2.07 to 0.96μs,The experimental results indicatde that in the PL process,the photoexcited energy may transfer from the silicon nanoparticlcs to the Eu^3 ions.

Abstract: We investigate the influence of precursor molar ratio of S^2-]/Zn^2+] on particle size and photoluminescence (PL) of ZnS:Mn^2+ nanocrystMs. By changing the S^2-]/Zn^2+] ratio from 0.6 (Zn-rich) to 2.0 (S-rich), the particle size increases from nearly 2. 7nm to about 4.Ohm. The increase in the ratio of S^2-]/Zn^2+] cadses a decrease of PL emission intensity of ZnS host while a distinct increase of Mn^2+ emission. The maximum intensity for the luminescence of Mn^2+ emission is observed at the ratio of S^2-]/Zn^2+] ≈ 1.5. The possible mechanism for the results is discussed by filling of S^2- vacancies and the increase of Mn^2+ ions incorporated into ZnS lattices.
导模法生长α-Al2O3∶C晶体

Abstract: 以高纯Al2O3为原料,利用石墨发热体和石墨保温桶为碳源,采用导模法生长了α-Al2O3∶C 晶体,研究了氢气退火后得到的α-Al2O3∶C晶体的热致发光和光致受激发光特性.α-Al2O3∶C晶体在460K具有单一一级动力学热致发光峰,热致发光发射波长位于415nm.α-Al2O3∶C晶体的光致受激发光曲线呈指数衰减,衰减曲线由快衰减和慢衰减两部分组成.α-Al2O3∶C晶体的热致发光和光致受激发光剂量响应曲线具有线性亚线性饱和的特点,其中热致发光剂量响应在5×10-6~0.2Gy范围内呈现良好的线性关系,饱和剂量为10Gy;光致受激发光剂量响应在5×10-6~10Gy范围内呈现良好的线性关系,饱和剂量为30Gy.

Abstract: 利用自制的单光子记录系统,对离体的浸于DMEM培养液中的鸡胚的完整脑所进行的光子发射测量显示出整脑与培养液相比有光子发射.完整脑的光子发射强度与胚龄,鸡胚的健康状况和离体后脑组织的新鲜程度有关.在对完整脑的光激发光测量中观察到一种短寿命的延迟发光,它的衰减过程不服从指数衰减规律而表现出双曲线衰减行为.从生物光子发射归因于生物体内的非定位的相干性电磁场及Frohlish的生命系统中存在着长距离的相干性的理论,讨论了利用生物光子发射研究细胞间通讯、生物的调节及生物与环境关系的意义,以及所检测的光子发射与生物系统自身的相干性电磁场的关系,并提出应从环境对生物系统自身场的影响来理解所测的生物光子发射.

Abstract: 合成了聚甲基丙烯酸(6-[4-(4-氰基偶氮苯)苯氧基]己酯)(Poly(6-[4-(4-cyanophenylazo)phenoxy]hexylmethacrylate)(PM6ABCN)),采用溶液挥发法在玻璃载片上成膜,研究了薄膜样品在Tg温度以下的光致取向.用波长分别为366、400和436nm的偏振光照射,发现PM6ABCN薄膜的光致取向过程不仅依赖于光的强度,还依赖所使用的偏振光的波长.在低于Tg的温度下,用波长为400nm,功率为20mW/cm2的光照射100s可以使样品的取向达到饱和,而用366nm的光导致的取向程度要小于400nm和436nm的光,因为366nm的光会在稳态时产生更多数目的cis异构体.

Abstract:
本文研究并设计了一种新型发光道路交通标志——LED内照式主动发光标志。该标志采用LED阵列作为背光源,并透过正面镂空的铝制型材和棱镜型反光膜发光,最后粘贴显示字形的深色反光膜。该类标志亮度均匀、无眩光,能够起到主动显示交通信息的作用。
This paper studies and designs a new type of road traffic signs, which is called LED-Based Actively Luminous Traffic Signs. It uses a LED array as a back light source, and emits light through aluminum extruded sections whose front is hollow and prism-type reflective film. Finally, it will paste the dark reflective film to display font. The signs, with uniform brightness and no glare, can play an active role in the display of traffic information.

Abstract: Light-excited C_(60) is studied by electron-lattice coupling tight-binding model. When one or two electrons are excited from HOMO to LUMO, the lowest energy state is ring bipolaron with the following characteristics: (1) The bond structure is layers with seven different bonds. In comparison with the dimerized state, bond variation is like that of ring polaron: to be the largest in equator, nearly unchanged in poles. (2) Two energy levels get into the gap and form the self-trapping electronic bound states which localize in the equator area. (3) C_(60)'s symmetry reduces from I_h to D_(5d). (4) There exist nonlifiear exciton and 4 NMR lines.
