Abstract: La violencia es la acción ejercida por una o varias personas, en la que se somete de manera intencional al maltrato, presión, sufrimiento, manipulación u otra acción que atente contra la integridad física, psicológica y moral de cualquier persona o grupo de personas. Los factores de riesgo de la conducta violenta se pueden agrupar en macrosociales, microsociales e individuales. El enfoque integral de intervención hacia la conducta violenta, debe tener en cuenta, no solo los componentes biológicos, psicológicos y sociales, sino también las peculiaridades sociales, grupales e individuales de su determinación. Violence is the action exerted by one or a certain number of persons practicing in an intentional way the ill-treatment, the pressure, suffering, manipulation or another action attempting on physical, psychological or moral integrity of any person of group of persons. The risk factors of violent behavior may be grouped into macrosocial, microsocial and individual. The integral approach of the intervention to violent behavior must to be into account not only the biological, psychological and social components but also the social, group and individual particular features of its determination.

Abstract: La violencia se ha convertido en un problema para la salud pública a nivel mundial. De ella se reconocen varios tipos: la violencia física, la psicológica y la sexual, sus causas pueden variar en dependencia del contexto sociocultural. El presente trabajo se realiza con el objetivo de identificar la violencia como un problema de salud, así como describir los tipos de violencia según las características de quienes cometen el acto violento y la naturaleza de los mismos. Violence has become a problem for public health all over the world. Different types have been recognized: physical, psychological and sexual violence. Their causes may vary depending on the sociocultural context. The present paper is aimed at identifying violence as a health problem and at describing the types of violence according to the characteristics of those who commit the violent act and to the nature of them.

Abstract: El cáncer se presenta como un importante problema de salud, dada la alta morbilidad y mortalidad que produce. Es uno de los procesos más complejos de la naturaleza y resulta el más complicado en la esfera de la medicina por su origen multicausal, la complejidad de sus mecanismos patogénicos y la variedad de formas y tipos que pueden originarse en el ser vivo. El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer información útil y actualizada acerca del cáncer cervicouterino. Esta enfermedad es prevenible y curable y se relaciona con la aparición del cáncer en vagina, cuello uterino, vulva y ano; en las mujeres se ha demostrado que la infección por el virus del papiloma humano es un factor de riesgo para su desarrollo. En la actualidad existen y se comercializan en el mundo dos tipos de vacuna, lo que se considera uno de los mayores avances en la medicina preventiva moderna. La aplicación de estas vacunas profilácticas contra el virus del papiloma humano podría reducir la incidencia y mortalidad por cáncer cervicouterino. Esta enfermedad constituye una de las entidades con más impacto y repercusión sobre la salud femenina, particularmente en las mujeres jóvenes. Está considerada una enfermedad emergente desde hace escasos a os y sus consecuencias sociales, humanas y económicas lo convierten en un problema importante de salud pública y de la humanidad. Cancer represents an important health problem due to its high morbidity and mortality. It is one of the most complex processes of nature and the most complicated in medicine because of its multiple cause origin, the complexity of its pathogenic mechanisms and the variety of forms and types that may adopt in the subject alive. The objective of this paper was to provide useful and updated information on the uterocervical cancer. This disease is preventable and curable; it is related to the occurrence of cancer in the vagina, the uterine neck, the vulva and the anus. It has been proved that human papiloma virus infection is one of the risk factor for cancer in females. Two kinds of vaccine are marketed worldwide, and this is considered as one of the major advances in the modern preventive medicine. The administration of these prophylactic vaccines against the human papiloma could reduce the incidence and the mortality cause by uterocervical cancer, one of the diseases with high impact and repercussion on the female health, particularly in young females. It is considered an emerging disease and its human, social and economic consequences turn it into an important public health problem for mankind.

Abstract: Se realizó un estudio de investigación que permitió la caracterización del Encuentro Docente en su momento de Evaluación del Aprendizaje en la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana II, en el Distrito Metropolitano de Caracas, República Bolivariana de Venezuela. Fueron sujetos del estudio una muestra de 80 profesores y 150 estudiantes. Se aplicó una encuesta a profesores, otra a estudiantes y la entrevista a informantes clave. La caracterización se realizó teniendo en cuenta la preparación científico pedagógica de los profesores, el dominio del tema por los estudiantes, las modalidades más empleadas para evaluar, los principales tipos de preguntas utilizados. Entre las recomendaciones del estudio se encuentran divulgar los resultados de la investigación en las reuniones metodológicas de los colectivos docentes, eventos y publicaciones científicas, hacer extensivo el estudio a otros estados del país y continuar el proceso de superación de los profesores en temas de evaluación, a través de las actividades de preparación metodológica, la superación profesional y profesoral. A research study was made to characterize the teaching meeting at the time of the evaluation of learning in subject called Human Morphophysiology II in metropolitan district of Caracas, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. A sample of 80 professors and 150 students were the subjects under study. Two surveys were made, one for professors and the other for students, whereas the key informants were interviewed. The characterization took into account the scientific and pedagogic preparation of professors, the proficiency of students in the subject, the most used modalities for evaluation and the main types of questionnaires. Among the recommendations of the study were the dissemination of this research results in the methodological meetings of the faculties, in events and scientific publications; the carrying out of similar studies in other states of Venezuela and the permanent process of improvement in evaluation through methodological preparation activities, the professional and the professorial upgrading.
Modification of the Newtonian Dynamics in ΛFRW-Cosmology an Alternative Approach to Dark Matter and Dark Energy  [PDF]

Abstract:

Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MoND) is an empirically motivated modification of Newtonian gravity at largest scales, to explain rotation curves of galaxies, as an alternative to nonbaryonic dark matter. But MoND theories can hardly connect to the formalism of relativistic cosmology type Friedmann-Robertson-Walker. Presently work intends the existence of one scalar potential, with non gravitational origin, that would solve these problems. This potential Yukawa type inverse is build starting from a specular reflection of the potential of Yukawa: null in very near solar system, slightly attractiveness in ranges of interstellar distances, very attractiveness in distance ranges comparable to galaxies cluster and repulsive to cosmic scales. The consequences of this potential are discussed, through Cosmological Model Tipe Friedmann-Roberston-Walker with cosmological term in function of the distance (lambda like function of r). In the cosmological model so raised the critical density of matter is consistent with the observed density does not include dark matter, MoND theory is deduced for interstellar scales and consequently would explain rotation curves. Also it is shown that Yukawa type inverse does not alter the predictions of the Cosmic Microwave Background neither the primordial nucleosynthesis in early universe; and can be explain the large-scale structure formation.

Abstract: objective: to characterize the use of teaching means in the educational meeting in its guiding moment in i human morphophysiology subject of the new program of physicians training in the "félix edén aguada" faculty-polyclinic in cienfuegos province, cuba, march-june, 2007. methods: a research study was conducted in the pregraduate teaching field including 35 professors and a sample consisted of 75 students the 17% of a universe of 441 receiving this subject. for analysis authors used theoretical methods, synthesis and also a triangulation from the theoretical principles of research, the author's criteria and the information collected with empirical application retrieval. these latter were used in the application of a survey among professors, another in students and an observation guide to directing activity. results: the use of teaching means was characterized, where the fixed images presentations supported by computer through the power point of microsoft office program, the didactic guides in the cd of i human morphophysiology subject and the blackboard are those that more frequent support the guiding moment. conclusions: the use of teaching means in the guiding moment of teaching meeting in i human morphology subject depending on the activity objectives, the contents and the teaching methods aimed to contribute to students learning.

Abstract: OBJETIVO: Caracterizar el uso de los medios de ense anza en el encuentro docente en su momento orientador en la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana I del Nuevo Programa de Formación de Médicos (NPFM) en el Policlínico-Facultad "Félix Edén Aguada" en Cienfuegos, Cuba. Marzo-junio 2007. MéTODOS: Se realizó un estudio de investigación en el campo de la ense anza de pregrado, fueron sujetos de este estudio 35 profesores y una muestra de 75 estudiantes el 17 % del universo de 441 que recibían la asignatura. Se utilizaron métodos teóricos para el análisis, la síntesis y se realizó la triangulación a partir de los fundamentos teóricos de la investigación, los criterios de los autores y la información recogida con la aplicación de los métodos empíricos. Estos últimos se utilizaron en la aplicación de una encuesta a profesores, otra a estudiantes y una guía de observación a la actividad orientadora. RESULTADOS: Se caracterizó el uso de los medios de ense anza, las que con más frecuencia apoyan el momento orientador en el encuentro docente fueron: las presentaciones de imágenes fijas apoyada de la computadora a través del programa PowerPoint de Microsoft Office, las guías didácticas contenidas en el CD de la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana I y la pizarra. CONCLUSIONES: El uso de los medios de ense anza en el momento orientador del encuentro docente en la asignatura Morfofisiología Humana I, está en función de los objetivos de la actividad, los contenidos y los métodos de ense anza, destinados a contribuir al aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
