Some Nonunique Fixed Point Theorems of ?iri? Type on Cone Metric Spaces

Abstract: Some results of (Ćirić, 1974) on a nonunique fixed point theorem on the class of metric spaces are extended to the class of cone metric spaces. Namely, nonunique fixed point theorem is proved in orbitally complete cone metric spaces under the assumption that the cone is strongly minihedral. Regarding the scalar weight of cone metric, we are able to remove the assumption of strongly minihedral.

Abstract: We introduce the notion of weakly (,,)-contractive mappings in ordered partial metric spaces and prove some commonfixed point theorems for such contractive mappings in the context of partiallyordered partial metric spaces under certain conditions. We give some commonfixed point results of integral type as an application of our main theorem. Also, we give an example and an application of integral equation to supportthe useability of our results.

Abstract: We establish fixed point theorems for a new class of contractive mappings. As consequences of our main results, we obtain fixed point theorems on metric spaces endowed with a partial order and fixed point theorems for cyclic contractive mappings.
