Trabajo doméstico-trabajo afectivo: sobre heteronormatividad y la colonialidad del trabajo en el contexto de las políticas migratorias de la UE

Abstract: The increasing inclusion of women into the labour market, the aging of the population, and the austerity measures affecting the public care system in the European Union have propelled the demand for domestic and care workers in the last decades. A large number of private households are choosing to employ women to provide these services. Often, those employed are migrant women who, in some cases, reside in Europe without legal resident status. As undocumented migrants, these women lack legal protection as workers. This paper will focus on this lack of protection by studying the case of Latin American undocumented female migrants employed as domestic workers in private households in Western Europe. The focus of the paper will be the affective relationship between domestic workers and their employers. Understanding this relationship within the context of the feminization of labour, the heteronormative arrangement underlying the personal interactions in private households and the differential hierarchies established through EU migration policies, this article proposes as an analytical framework the exploration the intersections between heteronormativity and Quijano's coloniality of power. The article engages with the affective dimension of domestic work and proposes domestic work as affective labour. It concludes with some thoughts on the ethico-political dimension of affects.

Abstract: the purpose of this document is to assess two questions that have a positive and normative nature respectively: 1) what incentives does the legal and institutional framework of the european community (ec) and the united states (federal level) provide to the different agents involved in antitrust proceedings in regards to the use of expert economic testimonies? 2) what legal and social norms could provide appropriate incentives to the different agents involved in antitrust proceedings in order to align the use of expert economic testimonies with antitrust enforcement goals? the research questions are assessed from a comparative law and economics approach. the law and economics approach is based upon the asymmetric information theory and principal-agent theory. the document contains five conclusions that may be summarized in the following statement: regarding expert economic testimonies, an antitrust enforcement system must aim at the minimization of its costs through the mitigation of the consequences of asymmetric information between the adjudicator and the expert. a cost-benefit analysis of the use of expert witnesses must take into account the incentives produced by the interaction among the different regulatory and non-regulatory features of the antitrust enforcement system.
Decay width : effects of the little Higgs model

Abstract: in the framework of the little higgs model (lhm), we calculate the decay widths with corrections of qed and qcd. we analyze this with recent data from lep and compute the contribution of the model. we find that the deviations of the decay width of reactions from its sm value are relatively large in the parameter space preferred by the electroweak precision data. furthermore, with reasonable free parameter values, the absolute value of the relative correction parameter δγ/γsm is of 15% - 50%. the experimental measurement values could generate possible constraints on the free parameters of the lhm.

We analyze this with recent data from LEP and compute the contribution of the model. We find that the deviations of the decay width of reactions Z1 ! l1l and Z1 ! o1o from its SM value are relatively large in the parameter space preferred by the electroweak precision data. Furthermore, with reasonable free parameter values, the absolute value of the relative correction parameter ±=SM is of 15% 50%. Abstract: the incidence of neurological complications after cardiac surgery continues to be elevated, although this is variable in the different studies published, fundamentally because of the different populations studied and the different definitions of neurological dysfunction. the etiology of these alterations is attributed to a multifactorial origin, aortic artherosclerosis, cerebral hypoperfusion and inflammatory phenomenon secondary to the technique. this review arises from the recognition of the personal, economic, and socio-health care repercussion entailed by these complications, with high rates of mortality and morbidity recorded, and it tries to give an objective view of the current literature on the subject. having knowledge of the risk markers and understanding the pathogenesis is important to try to plan strategies that may minimize the appearance and development of these complications and contribute to the decrease of their serious consequences. the data and the experience obtained by our group are shown at the end of the review.

In this work the neutral-current scattering cross-section for neutrinos on electrons is calculated assuming that a massive Dirac neutrino is characterized by a phenomenological parameters, a charge radius < r2> and the right-handed currents are present in the framework of a Left-Right symmetric model (LR). Using the CHARM II result for the charge radius of the muon-neutrino |< r2>|6.0×10-33cm2, we place a bound on -7.9×10-33cm2≤< r2>LR7.9×10-33cm2. We discuss the relationship between the electron neutral couplings gVeV and gVeA and the LR model parameters. We also estimate a bound on the heavy massive neutral vector boson mass MZR650GeV of the LR model. These results have never been reported in the literature before and could have practical or theoretical interest, such as in the case of the neutrinos produced in core-collapse supernova explosions, that is to say, right-handed Dirac neutrinos emission from supernova core vLe-

Abstract: The constraints on the number of neutrinos generations, g'1 coupling and Z?- Z′ mixing angle through the invisible width method, and in the framework of a U(1)B-L model are obtained. Based on the experimental value reported by the LEP for the rate \"\", we obtained a bound on the g'1 coupling, \"\". In addition, we derive 90% C.L. bounds on the Z?- Z′ mixing angle \"\", improving the existing bounds by one order of magnitude.

Abstract: The taxonomic status of the Iberian species of the genera Pterolepis Rambur, 1838 and Rhacocleis Fieber, 1853 is revised through the study of 126 specimens from different private and institutional collections. Pterolepis grallata (Pantel, 1886) is reinstated as a valid species as a result of morphological studies and phylogenetic analysis. The criterion of Willemse & Willemse (2005) not accepting the use of number of apical spurs of hind tibiae as a character for genera separation is followed, so that all Iberian species included up to now in these genera belong to genus Pterolepis. Se revisa la situación taxonómica de las especies ibéricas encuadradas en los géneros Pterolepis Rambur, 1838 y Rhacocleis Fieber, 1853 mediante el estudio de 126 ejemplares procedentes de diversas instituciones y colecciones. Se restituye Pterolepis grallata (Pantel, 1886) como especie válida en función del estudio morfológico y filogenético. Se acepta el criterio de Willemse & Willemse (2005), descartando la utilización de la espinación apical de las tibias posteriores como carácter para discriminar los géneros, por el que todas las especies ibéricas citadas hasta el momento en esos géneros, pertenecen al género Pterolepis.
Detection of Charged MSSM Higgs Bosons at CERN LEP-II and NLC

Abstract: We study the possibility of detecting the charged Higgs bosons predicted in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model $(H^\pm)$, with the reactions $e^{+}e^{-}\to \tau^-\bar \nu_{\tau}H^+, \tau^+\nu_\tau H^-$, using the helicity formalism. We analyze the region of parameter space $(m_{A^0}-\tan\beta)$ where $H^\pm$ could be detected in the limit when $\tan\beta$ is large. The numerical computation is done for the energie which is expected to be available at LEP-II ($\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV) and for a possible Next Linear $e^{+}e^{-}$ Collider ($\sqrt{s}=500$ GeV).

Abstract: Motivated by the recent result reported from LHC on the di-photon search from the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson, we obtain limits on the anomalous couplings Hγγ and HZγ. We also perform a calculation at tree level of the decay widths as well as of the branching ratios for the reactions H → γγ and H → Zγ in the context of effective lagrangian for Higgs boson masses 115 ≤MH ≤ 130 GeV. We find that the decay widths and branching ratios from these reactions enhanced significantly due to the anomalous Hγγ and HZγ vertex, which would lead to measurable effects in Higgs signals at the LHC. Moreover, our results complement other studies on the channels H → γγ and H → Zγ.
