Abstract: trichinellosis is a zoonotic parasitary disease which is accidentally transmitted to men by ingestion of meat products not well cooked, of infected animals. in mexico the pig is the main source of contamination the applied treatment has been unspecific. the effective treatment for this disease is not truly known. this study is led to know if albendazole (abz), nitazoxanide (nzx) and ivermectin (ivm) are effective in the treatment of intestinal phase (ip) and muscular phase (mp) of trichinellosis. therefore we consider convenient to know what medicament is more effective against the t. spiralis parasite in both phases. 18 york pigs were used, 10 groups were made: 1- healthy control in ip 2- infected control in ip, 3 - infected treated with abz in ip, 4 - infected and treated with ivm in ip, 5 - infected and treated with nzx in ip, 6.-healthy control in mp, 7.- infected control in mp, 8- infected and treated with abz in muscular phase (mp), 9 - infected and treated with ivm in mp, 10 - infected and treated with nzx in mp. the statistic analysis was an experimental design completely by random and a factorial treatment design. concluding that the abz besides being but effective in fi in fm it presents an effectiveness of 100% against the infection.

Abstract: the effect of different concentrations of sodium caseinate in the sensory properties of "cook-in" ham was studied. in each of four replications, twenty ''cook-in" hams were randomly designed to one of five treatment groups in which the curing brine formulation was pumped 20% of their respectivo weights for all treatments. the basic brine composition was 0.5% phosphate; 2.0% salt; 0.4% curing salts; 0.66% ham condiment and 0.25% ascorbate, the processing conditions were the same for all treatments, but there was used different concentrations of sodium caseinate. (0.0%; 0.5%; 1.0% and 1.5%). samples were removed for ph analysis. tumbling losses, cooking losses and yield were calculated. sensory properties of processed "cook-in'' hams were evaluated. the ph haven't a significative effect, because the brine was adjusted to ph 9,0 for all treatments. the hams treated with 1.0% sodium caseinate showed the greatest overall acceptability and the greatest cooking losses too. the hams treated with 0.5% sodim caseinate showed the less cooking losses and reasonable overall acceptability.

Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to explore empirical relationships of employees' attitudes towards organizational change, the perceived breach of the psychological contract and outcomes such as burnout, job satisfaction and OCB. The proposed model suggests that organizational identification will be a mediator variable in these relationships. Results of an empirical study conducted among university staff (N =150) showed that the model was an adequate fit to the data. Organizational identification mediated the relationship between psychological contract breach and outcomes while attitudes towards organizational change had a direct impact on outcomes.
