Abstract: in the process of the construction of the salta termoandes thermoelectrical power station s.a. and its feeding gas pipe, we participate in one of the instances of the environmental impact studies and in an archaeological rescue. as a consequence of this experience, we present the results obtained, which include methodological aspects and the interpretation of the archaeological record localized and rescued. we, as professionals, should cover the necessities of the management of our archaeological heritage. in this direction, we should make an effort to adequate theory, methodology and technology in the solution of practical problems involved in all the stages of the e.i.s. we suggest the formation, in an academic level, of specialists who could develop both basic research and managment of archaeological resources.
Dale’s Principle Is Necessary for an Optimal Neuronal Network’s Dynamics  [PDF]
Eleonora Catsigeras
Applied Mathematics (AM) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/am.2013.410A2002
Abstract:

We study a mathematical model of biological neuronal networks composed by any finite number N ≥ 2 of non-necessarily identical cells. The model is a deterministic dynamical system governed by finite-dimensional impulsive differential equations. The statical structure of the network is described by a directed and weighted graph whose nodes are certain subsets of neurons, and whose edges are the groups of synaptical connections among those subsets. First, we prove that among all the possible networks such as their respective graphs are mutually isomorphic, there exists a dynamical optimum. This optimal network exhibits the richest dynamics: namely, it is capable to show the most diverse set of responses (i.e. orbits in the future) under external stimulus or signals. Second, we prove that all the neurons of a dynamically optimal neuronal network necessarily satisfy Dale’s Principle, i.e. each neuron must be either excitatory or inhibitory, but not mixed. So, Dale’s Principle is a mathematical necessary consequence of a theoretic optimization process of the dynamics of the network. Finally, we prove that Dale’s Principle is not sufficient for the dynamical optimization of the network.

Oscillating Statistics of Transitive Dynamics  [PDF]
Eleonora Catsigeras
Advances in Pure Mathematics (APM) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/apm.2015.59049
Abstract: We prove that topologically generic orbits of C0 , transitive and non-uniquely ergodic dynamical systems, exhibit an extremely oscillating asymptotical statistics. Precisely, the minimum weak* compact set of invariant probabilities that describes the asymptotical statistics of each orbit of a residual set contains all the ergodic probabilities. If besides f is ergodic with respect to the Lebesgue measure, then also Lebesgue-almost all the orbits exhibit that kind of extremely oscillating statistics.
Viveros Vigoya, Mara;
Revista Estudos Feministas , 2006, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-026X2006000100009
Abstract: this article analyzes the particular modes of governance of adolescent sexuality that emerge from the educational activities carried out by sexual and reproductive health programs for young colombians. it also analyzes their effects on the production of adolescent subjectivities. in addition, it examines the perception of those who carry out the pedagogic activities related to sexuality with adolescents and the way these perceptions are marked by ethnic/racial differences, as well as their influence on their professional performance. field data are based on observation of two pilot programs on sexual and reproductive health among adolescent high school students in bogotá, and on interviews with workshop coordinators and male and female counselors.
Viveros Vigoya,Mara;
Revista de Estudios Sociales , 2007,
Abstract: based on a case study in one of bogotá?s poorest neighborhoods, this article contributes to the ongoing analysis of discourses of racial discrimination in colombia. it does not examine the experiences of people who are supposed to be the victims of discrimination, but focuses rather on some of the social agents implicated in its regulation: the officials who develop and implement the government?s social policies and programs in the aforementioned neighborhood. the article first describes the officials interviewed for the study, as well as the programs in which they are engaged. second, it examines how these social agents perceive, name, and experience their relationship with the "afro-colombian" residents of the neighborhood. and third, it analyzes their views on whether or not these people suffer from racial discrimination, and how the interviewees, as government officials, respond to their demands. the purpose of this article is to relate these different perceptions with their daily work experience and the philosophy behind the programs in which they work.

Abstract: ABSTRACTIn this article the author explores the structural and dynamic transformations within displaced families, as well as the abilities its members develop for dealing with various adverse situations they face during this process. Based on testimonies from the people interviewed, the author searches for actions and interactions where it is evident that they are not passive actors, but individuals trying to reconstruct their lives.This was done with the purpose of motivating any attention given to this population to be rooted in their particular necessities as well as the strengths they have to face adversity.
The Analogy as a Cognitive Strategy that Encourages Reading Comprehension in Expository Texts
José Viveros Márquez
Revista Electrónica Educare , 2010,
Abstract: Recibido 15 de abril de 2010 Aceptado 24 de junio de 2010 Corregido 31 de agosto de 2010 Resumen. Abstract. This research arises from the current state of reading in Mexico, because the contextual situation to local and national level has become critical on this issue. Results on standardized tests such as ENLACE (National Assessment of Academic Achievement in Schools) and PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) have shown that Mexican basic level students have text comprehension problems. Given this reality, this is a qualitative descriptive study on the use of analogies in reading as a strategy for reading comprehension, through application of an ethnographic survey, a questionnaire and the application of a pedagogical model for the use of analogies in reading. The study incorporates the theoretical tenets of Constructivism, referring to Piaget (1969), Vygotsky (1997) and Ausubel (2002). The results show that the use of analogies promotes reading comprehension in 4th grade students, from an expository text that compares the evolution of man and the metamorphosis of a butterfly.
