Abstract: During the process of nutrition, thus in that of their growth, microorganisms are subject to the influences of certain environmental factors that condition the microbial activity determining either the growth and reproduction, or the inhibition of activity and the inactivation of microorganisms. A well known means of expressing the H+ ions concentration in a certain environment is the pH, an important chemical factor that is closely observed when growing ascomycetes, for any alteration of its value entails conformational alterations of their enzymes, the characteristics of the substrate, such that they can no longer interact with the active site of the enzyme or be subject to catalysis. The present study comprises the results of our research on certain oxidoreductase implied in the steps of the Krebs cycle in the Monilinia laxa (Aderh.&Ruhl.) Honey, a fungus that parasites the prune. The enzymatic determinations took place at 7 and 14 days from the mycelium of the fungus cultivated in Leonian media, whose pH was adjusted to values between 2.0 and 9.0 by using NaOH 1N and HCl 0,1N solutions. We registered different values of the dehydrogenasic activity, directly correlated with the physiological condition of the fungus (given its age) and with the initial pH value of the culturea€ s environment.

Abstract: As ubiquitous organisms, fungi grow on a large number of organic substrate, alive or dead, confronting therefore with a wide variety of carbohydrates and various physical factors, and their versatility to adapt and be able to use a large number of these compounds could provide them the chance to survive. Given that, these fungi have a rich enzyme equipment that allows them to operate on different metabolic pathways, this study aims to monitor the dynamics activity of some Krebs cycle dehydrogenases in Monilinia laxa (Aderh & Ruhl.) Honey species parasitic on various species of plum trees. To this end, the fungus was cultivated in vitro on media enriched with different carbohydrates and the isocitrate dehydrogenase, -cetoglutarate dehydrogenase, succinate dehydrogenase and malate dehydrogenase activity in the fungus mycelium was followed, at 7, respectively, 14 days after the inoculation of the culture medium and determined using the spectrophotometric S soev and Krasna method (Cojocaru, D.C., 2009). Data revealed obvious differences depending on the type of carbohydrate introduced into the medium and the age of the culture mycelia.
ON THE STRUCTURE OF THE MEDIAN SEGMENT OF THE DIGESTIVE TUBE AND ON THE ACTIVITY OF ALPHA-AMYLASE AT ARISTICHTHYS NOBILIS, IN VARIOUS STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract: The investigations have been dedicated to the structure of the median segment of the digestive tube, on Aristichthys nobilis individuals of various ages (i.e., one summer- and, respectively, four summer-old), correlated, on one side, with the main feeding regime and, on the other, with the amylasic activity present in this part of the digestive tract. As to the structural aspects, higher values of the thickness of the mucous tunic have been recorded in the four summer-old bighead carp individuals, to be possibly associated with the high values of the α-amylase activity in this segment of the digestive tube.

Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2008,
Abstract: The main objective of the present study involves determination of the α-glucanphosphorylase in germinated caryopses of Setaria pumila and Festuca pratensis, through dosing of the anorganic phosphorous, seed germination being performed in Petri plates, at room temperature, for 10 days, while taking over of the samples occurred at intervals of 24 hours. In the enzymatic extracts thus obtained, starch concentration was also determined, by the polarimetric method, while the concentration of total soluble proteins - necessary for the calculation of the specific phosphorolytic activity - was established by the Bradford method. In both graminaceae species, the enzymatic activity was highly reduced in the impregnated seed stage, after which it progressively increases, in parallels with the intensification of starch hydrolysis, for producing the energy and precursors necessary for various metabolic processes.
On the activity of some intestinal enzymes in the Ctenopharyngodon idella species
Gabriela Vasile,Elena Ciornea
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2009,
Abstract: The present paper systematizes the results attained on the activity of some transferases and proteases from the median part of the digestive tube, in three summer-old grass carp from the Piscicultural Farm of ig na i - Ia i district, the data obtained being statistically processed for each parameter in part. The values recorded support the idea that the digestive tube of Ctenopharyngodon idella might be regarded as a potential source of proteolytic and aminotransferasic enzymes
Experimental investigations on the dynamics of beta-amylase in some Graminaceae species

Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2008,
Abstract: The present paper synthesizes the results of the investigations devoted to the dynamics of β-amylase activity in germinated caryopses belonging to some species of the Poaceae family, namely: Setaria pumila (bristle grass), Festuca pratensis (hair grass) and Sorghum sudanense (Sudan grass), as correlated with the dynamics of starch concentration, recorded along ten germination days. On one side, the obtained results evidence that, in the process of reserve polyglucides mobilization, this enzyme plays an at least as equally important role as the α-amylase and, on the other, the considerable differences observed among the three Poaceae species from cultivated and, respectively, spontaneous flora.
ON THE ACTIVITY OF AMYLASES DACTYLIS GLOMERATA
Elena Ciornea,Gabriela Vasile
Analele ?tiin?ifice Ale Universit??ii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Ia?i,Sectiunea II A : Genetica si Biologie Moleculara , 2007,
Abstract: The paper discusses the results of the investigation on the enzymatic activity of total amylase and, respectively, of α-amylase, in the caryopses of Dactylis glomerata, along 10 germination days. The results obtained evidenced a maximum enzymatic activity, recorded 240 hours after the initiation of germination, both in the case of total and of α- amylase.
