Telemedicine technologies and effectiveness: A review article

Abstract: Telemedicine is the use of information and communication technologies in order to provide access to medical and health care services whenever a large physical distance exists between patient and the service. Telemedicine is easily accessible for people living in remote regions and people with chronic illnesses who need long time home care. This technology is provided in different services, including telenursing, telepharmacy, telesurgery, telegenetic, telerehabilitation, telehomecare, teletrauma care, telecardiology, telepsychiatry, teleradiology, telepathology, teledermatology, teledentistry, teleaudiology and teleophthalmology. In this article, recent telemedicine technologies which used in developed countries are introduced and the clinical and cost-effectiveness of these services is evaluated.
Blended Learning Approaches in Medical Science: A Review Article

Abstract: Blended learning is a combination of traditional and electronic learning, which utilizes both face-to-face classrooms and information and communication technologies to educate learners. In recent years, blended learning has become a fixed feature within professional educations and has been prioritized by universities around the world, especially medical science universities. Blended learning is being used in medical science education to help improve training in many different areas, including healthcare professionals and students’ education, patients training and global health education. This article discusses blended learning approaches in medical sciences universities. This is a literature review article, which information gathering has been done by using paper and paperless documents related to the topic.
Josephson junction between two high Tc superconductors with arbitrary transparency of interface

Abstract: In this paper, a dc Josephson junction between two singlet superconductors (d-wave and s-wave) with arbitrary reflection coefficient has been investigated theoretically. For the case of high Tc superconductors, the c-axes are parallel to an interface with finite transparency and their ab-planes have a mis-orientation. The physics of potential barrier will be demonstrated by a transparency coefficient via which the tunneling will occur. We have solved the nonlocal Eilenberger equations and obtained the corresponding and suitable Green functions analytically. Then, using the obtained Green functions, the current-phase diagrams have been calculated. The effect of the potential barrier and mis-orientation on the currents is studied analytically and numerically. It is observed that, the current phase relations are totally different from the case of ideal transparent Josephson junctions between d-wave superconductors and two s-wave superconductors. This apparatus can be used to demonstrate d-wave order parameter in high Tc superconductors.
Effect of Transparency on the D-wave Josephson Junction

Tanaka and S. Kashiwaya 1996 \textit{Phys. Rev. B} {\bf 53}, R11957]. For the case of High $T_c$ superconductors, the $c$-axes are parallel to an interface with finite transparency and their $ab$-planes have a mis-orientation. The effect of transparency and mis-orientation on the currents is studied both analytically and numerically. It is observed that, the current phase relations are totally different from the case of ideal transparent Josephson junctions between d-wave superconductors and two s-wave superconductors. This apparatus can be used to demonstrate d-wave order parameter in High $T_c$ superconductors.
Charge and Spin Transport in Superconducting Weak Links

Abstract: The coherent mixing of the current states in the superconducting weak link subject to a Josephson phase difference $\phi$ and subject to an external transport current in the banks is one of the aims of this work. At $\phi=\pi $ the nonlocal mixing of current states produces two vortices close to the point-contact between superconducting bulks. The effect of point-contact reflection in an impenetrable interface and effect of temperature on the vortices have been studied. It is obtained that increasing the reflection of the point-contact destroys the vortices while increasing the temperature restore these vortices. The vortex state is a new version of the interference between the macroscopic states and quantum tunnelling. Also, the weak link between unitary triplet superconductors which have $f-$wave and $p+h-$wave pairing symmetry has been studied from the spin and charge current-phase relation point of view. The main result in the second part of this thesis, is the polarization of the spin transport when a junction between triplet superconductors is used. It is observed that the spin current is the result of the misorientation between the gap vectors of two supercondcutors. In addition, the weak link between two bipolar non-unitary triplet superconductors is studied mathematically. The current-phase relations obtained in third part of this thesis are totally different from the junctions between the unitary spin-triplet superconductors and between the spin-singlet superconductors. The current phase diagrams which have been obtained in this work can be used to distinguish the symmetry of the order parameter in the crystals.
Effect of Parallel Transport Currents on the D-wave Josephson junction

Abstract: In this paper, the nonlocal mixing of coherent current states in d-wave superconducting banks is investigated. The superconducting banks are connected via a ballistic point contact. The banks have a mis-orientation and a phase difference. Furthermore, they are subjected to a tangential transport current along the $ab$-plane of d-wave crystals and parallel with interface between superconductors. The effects of mis-orientation and external transport current on the current-phase relations and current distributions are subjects of this paper. It observed that, at values of phase difference close to 0, $\pi$ and $2\pi$ the current distribution may have a vortex-like form in vicinity of the point contact. The current distribution of this junction between d-wave superconductors is totally different from the junction between s-wave superconductors. As the interesting results, spontaneous and Josephson currents are observed for the case of $\phi=0$.

Abstract: This research explains academic achievement based on the personality characteristics, the psycho-social climate of the classroom in terms of academic engagement in mathematics. The population was high schoolboys and girls in Damghan city in Iran. Participants were randomly selected using a multi-stage cluster method (513 boys and girls) and they simultaneously completed three questionnaires: academic engagement, the psycho-social climate of the classroom and personality characteristics. Path analysis was used to analyze data. The results showed that the direct effects of personality characteristics and psycho-social climate of the classroom on academic achievement were not significant. The direct effects of openness, conscientiousness and psycho-social climate of classroom on academic engagement were significant. The indirect effects (with mediation of academic engagement) and overall effects of openness, conscientiousness and psycho-social climate of classroom on academic achievement were significant, also the effect of academic engagement on academic achievement was significant.

Abstract: Charge and spin transport properties of a clean $SNS$ Josephson junction (triplet superconductor-normal metal-triplet superconductor) are studied using the quasiclassical Eilenberger equation of Green’s function. Our system consists of two p-wave superconducting crystals separated by a Copper nano layer. Effects of thickness of normal layer between superconductors on the spin and charge currents are investigated. Also misorientation between triplet superconductors which creates the spin current is another subject of this paper.
Coherent quantum trasport in ferromagnet-superconductor-ferromagnet graphene junctions

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the coherent quantum transport in grapheme-based ferromagnet-superconductor-ferromagent junctions within the framework of BCS theory using DBdG quasiparticles equation .The coherency with the finite size of superconductor region has two characteristic features subgap electron transport and oscillations of differential conductance. we show that periodic vanishing of the Andreev reflection at the energies called geometrical resonances above the superconducting gap is a striking consequence of quasiparticles interference. We suggest to make devices that produce polarized spin-current with possible applications in spintronics.
