THE DYNAMICS OF THE MATRICS STRUCTURE
Dumitru CONSTANTINESCU
Management & Marketing , 2007,
Abstract: The relationships organization-suppliers-customers have recently known major changes in the structure of services and have made the organization develop its managerial and professional competencies in order to do projects. The qualified organization is the most trust-worthy in the process of doing a project. The participation of an organization in doing projects depends on a multitude of factors. Out of these factors, the structural organization comes forth, as it represents the variable with the most important impact on a project’s quality, costs and lead time. From the organizational point of view, the matrix structure is frequently chosen for projects. The matrix structure generally coexists with the line structure. The two structures are contrastive. The line structure is based on the unity of command principle and is not open to cooperation and dialogue. The matrix structure encourages cooperation and communication, favours conflict, which is considered here a healthy and essential process. The matrix structure and the line structure claim their right to initiative. Conflict and the multidimensional integration of multiple hierarchies can be negotiated through the concept charisma – mediation, sustained by the matrix structure.
DEBATING ABOUT SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP
Carmen C?RSTEA,Dumitru Constantinescu
Management & Marketing , 2012,
Abstract: In this paper we analyzed the cirumstances of every day life which requires the need to adapt the leadership style. Leadership needs a lot of abilities and skills, including the capability to communicate. The paper deals with leader’s need of changing the style of leading as organizational circumstances change. The process is efficient only when the leaders and the followers have the right climate. The importance of this process is reflected in the productivity of the organization. As the economic climate changes the leadership style needs to be changed and also the style of communication throughout the leader coaches, coordinates, evaluates and supervises. Leadership is about organizing a group of people to achieve a goal. The leader may or may not have any formal authority. Students of leadership have produced theories involving traits, situational interaction, function, behavior, power, vision and values, charisma, and intelligence, among others. This paper describes the styles of leadership which the leaders must use and switch when is needed in comparison with what leadership is about.
PROXIMITY MANAGEMENT IN CRISIS CONDITIONS

Management & Marketing , 2010,
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of assimilation for the terms "Proximity Management" and "Proximity Manager", both in the specialized literature and in practice. The study has two parts: the theoretical research of the two terms, and an evaluation of the use of Proximity management in 32 companies in Gorj, Romania. The object of the evaluation resides in 27 companies with less than 50 employees and 5 companies with more than 50 employees.

The Stress’ Management and Time Budget
Maria Constantinescu,Cornel Constantinescu
Theoretical and Applied Economics , 2007,
Abstract: The present study has as central objective the introduction of a succession of concrete findings, more precisely the spotlight of the relation between the time budget, stress and behavior (A or B) in a military organization. The study's premise lays on the assertion that military environment, a petitioner environment takes to the growth of stress because of the negative disparity between the weight of time destined discharging job tasks and the weight of time earmarked relaxation and other needs.
Professional Competence in Psychosociology Research
Maria Constantinescu,Cornel Constantinescu
Theoretical and Applied Economics , 2007,
Abstract: Dealing with labour activity through perspective of factors that condition it's efficiency is a problem of great interest in psychosociology. The performances' evaluation is a manner to appreciate the degree of adequation of the human operator to professional exigences of the labour he does. "The proffesional competence" is the intrinsic potentiality of person and the performance - the achieved potentiality showen in material or spiritual products or servicies and which is, often, influenced not only by factors depending on the person (the specific skills, the motivation, the degree of implication in decisional process), but olso by factors independent of person. Through the present study we have verified the interpretative-thoretical pattern suggessted for profesional competence (mental skills of cognitional kind and socio-emotional skills, the consciousness of profesional competence ) of a group of subjects that carried on in army. In this study the used method is secondary analysis, analysis and interpretation in a different manner of collected information with different reasons.
International Migration and its Effects on Family
Maria Constantinescu,Cornel Constantinescu
Theoretical and Applied Economics , 2008,
Abstract: The crises period that still cross Romania explain, between others, the apparition and development of international migration, after 1990. In a world marked by globalization, migration can not disappear, contrary, it grows bigger ant it remains an interesting subject in future. A study about migration consequences on family, specially on children’s personality left in the country, is justified because migration is a present phenomena in Romanian space at the beginning of the XXIth century. We try to analyse the effects of this phenomenon on family. Related to these goal we offer the conclusions obtained from a research realized in Campulung Muscel municipality, Arges county, on a lot of pupils that have parents left in foreign countries and the results to the investigation made in Pitesti municipality. The research showed that it is a relationship between children’s marks at school and parent’s leaving; children’s perceptions on parent’s leaving; identifies school’s interest level in diminution of the low school performance effects caused by this socio-economical phenomena.
Success local policies in preventing and reducing the alcohol consumption among youngters
Maria CONSTANTINESCU,Cornel CONSTANTINESCU
Revista de Cercetare ?i Interven?ie Social? , 2012,
Abstract: Young people are most vulnerable to the consequences of alcohol consumption. Local autorithies are the main institution in the development of local policies to reduce alcohol related harm and preventive actions to target not only individual consumers, but the environment in which the young grows: parents, teachers and vendors of alcoholic beverages. The main goal of this project is to reduce youth alcohol availability. Cooperation between different organizations is essential because prevention education programs (schools) alone will not be able to change drinking behavior. In preparing its policy on alcohol on the knowledge of reality. Thereby, collecting local data on the level of alcohol consumption among young teens, parent’s attitudes and availability of alcohol was made by several sociological research base don sociological investigation. The population investigated included teenagers, parents and sellers of alcoholic beverages. Implementation of this policy required the formation of alcohol-related working groups according to the three elements of the project: public support (through media coverage and cooperareacu message frequency and parents), legal regulations and how to apply them (identification of the level of application and increased police actions in this direction). Key factors in the success of this project were the good communication and good cooperation of all involved.
The Minaret of the Great Mosque in Algiers, a Structural Challenge  [PDF]
Dan Constantinescu, Dietlinde K?ber
Open Journal of Civil Engineering (OJCE) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ojce.2013.32A004
Abstract:

The Great Mosque in Algiers will be the third largest mosque in the world and its minaret the highest. The region has a high seismic risk. The project designed by a German team of architects and engineers is under construction and will be finished by 2016. Due to the minaret slenderness and to the special composite structure chosen to withstand lateral loading, the structural design faced some challenging aspects. The paper presents the design philosophy, some significant structural features and details of the minaret structure.

Formal Integrability for the Nonautonomous Case of the Inverse Problem of the Calculus of Variations
Oana Constantinescu
Symmetry, Integrability and Geometry : Methods and Applications , 2012,
Abstract: We address the integrability conditions of the inverse problem of the calculus of variations for time-dependent SODE using the Spencer version of the Cartan-K hler theorem. We consider a linear partial differential operator P given by the two Helmholtz conditions expressed in terms of semi-basic 1-forms and study its formal integrability. We prove that P is involutive and there is only one obstruction for the formal integrability of this operator. The obstruction is expressed in terms of the curvature tensor R of the induced nonlinear connection. We recover some of the classes of Lagrangian semisprays: flat semisprays, isotropic semisprays and arbitrary semisprays on 2-dimensional manifolds.
