POLICIES OF THE COMMERCIAL BANKS LIQUIDITY MANAGEMENT IN THE CRISIS CONTEXT
Trenca Ioan,Paun Dragos
Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2009,
Abstract: The article focuses on liquidity management in Commercial Banks, and presents the steps that a good management has to follow to ensure that the position of the bank is not put into jeopardy following a lack of liquidity. Different management decisions and
ELECTRONIC BANKING ADVANTAGES FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES DELIVERY
Bojan Daniela,Mutu Simona,Paun Dragos
Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2010,
Abstract: E-banking is a fully automatic service for traditionally banking customers products based on information technology platforms. E-banking services provide customer access to accounts, the ability to move their money between different accounts or making payments via e-channels. The advantages generated by this services have determined an accelerate developing of this industry over the entire world. This paper examines some of the advantages of electronic banking products together with the characteristic management issues generated by the implementation of this new channel for financial services delivery.
NEW TRENDS CONCERNING OPERATIONAL RISC IN E-BANKING
Ioan TRENCA,Hadrian SILIVESTRU,Dragos PAUN
Scientific Annals of the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi : Economic Sciences Series , 2010,
Abstract: Through alternative channels which the bank provides to the customers transactions were con-ducted worthing 18.58 million euros, up 59% over the same period of the last year, according to RomCard, in the first 3 months of 2009. We have tried to summarize below the risks that banks face when they launch an e-banking product type on the market and how they an manage themselves.
CONSIDERATIONS ON MONETARY POLICY HELD BY THE CENTRAL BANK TO ADOPT THE EURO
Trenca Ioan,Paun Dragos,Zoicas-Ienciu Adrian
Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2010,
Abstract: The current paper presents some considerations regarding the monetary policy held by the central bank in order to obtain the declared goal of joining the European Monetary Union. The paper refers to the strategies included in the National Accession Plan, and in the Convergence Program established by the National Bank of Romania. Furthermore, the paper presents some of the recent developments and the technical developments.
CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE ANALYSIS AGAINST VIOLENT CRIME
Costic PAUN
Lex et Scientia , 2009,
Abstract: Quickly identifying and apprehending the perpetrator of a violent crime – murder, robbery, rape, and abduction – represent major goals of all law enforcement agencies. The police aim at identifying the author as quickly as possible by using the data gathered upon investigating the crime scene, in order to prevent further violence. The activities to be performed for determining the precise means of committing the crime and for interpreting the criminal’s behavior in his/her interaction with the victim are highly complex and decisively important in establishing the perpetrator’s guilt.
Regularity properties of the degenerate Monge--Ampère equations compact K?hler manifolds

Mathematics , 2006,
Abstract: We prove a regularity result for the Monge--Amp\`ere equations on compact Kaehler manifolds with degenerate rhs member.
Relative adjoint transcendental classes and Albanese maps of compact Kaehler manifolds with nef Ricci curvature
Mihai Paun
Mathematics , 2012,
Abstract: Given a surjective holomorphic map between two compact Kaehler manifolds, we investigate the positivity properties of relative adjoint transcendental classes which are inherited from similar fiberwise properties. As a consequence, we solve a problem proposed by J.-P. Demailly, T. Peternell and M. Schneider concerning the Albanese morphism of Kaehler manifolds with nef anticanonical class.
Relative critical exponents, non-vanishing and metrics with minimal singularities
Mihai Paun
Mathematics , 2008,
Abstract: In this article we prove a non-vanishing statement, as well as several properties of metrics with minimal singularities of adjoint bundles. Our arguments involve many ideas from Y.-T. Siu's analytic proof of the finite generation of the canonical ring. An important technical tool is the notion of relative critical exponent of two closed positive currents with respect to a measure.
On the Hopcroft's minimization algorithm
Andrei Paun
Computer Science , 2007,
Abstract: We show that the absolute worst case time complexity for Hopcroft's minimization algorithm applied to unary languages is reached only for de Bruijn words. A previous paper by Berstel and Carton gave the example of de Bruijn words as a language that requires O(n log n) steps by carefully choosing the splitting sets and processing these sets in a FIFO mode. We refine the previous result by showing that the Berstel/Carton example is actually the absolute worst case time complexity in the case of unary languages. We also show that a LIFO implementation will not achieve the same worst time complexity for the case of unary languages. Lastly, we show that the same result is valid also for the cover automata and a modification of the Hopcroft's algorithm, modification used in minimization of cover automata.
AGRICULTURE IN ROMANIA IN THE PROCESS OF INTEGRATION INTO EUROPEAN STRUCTURES DURING POST - ACCESSION
Paun Georgeta,Matoschi Oana,Paun Mihaela Cristina
Annals of the University of Oradea : Economic Science , 2011,
Abstract: European Union and its Member States shall adjust some provisions of the development strategies aimed at increasing food production in sustainable ways, protecting natural resources and increase competitiveness of European agriculture on the world market. Romania faces imbalances in market conditions is not rationally use land particularly favorable to obtain a competitive agricultural supplies. Large annual variations in crop conditions in which the yields per hectare and per animal is about half the EU15 average does not provide the power necessary at affordable prices, especially for vulnerable population groups. Addressing structural and operational problems of the institutional system of agriculture in Romania's European integration process is an important way of overcoming the situations to which the elimination of disparities in economic development and social peace disturbed by high and rising prices of food, produced in quantities increasing imports. In the current international situation in which Romania difficulties in structural adjustment in agriculture and reduction of disparities compared to EU Member States, a national policy of granting real priorities for the sector is badly needed. These priorities cover both ways of achieving the overall objectives which fall within the strategic guidelines of the European Union and European integration meets the needs and solving specific national targets.
