Indian Streams Research Journal , 2012,
Abstract: Technology has playing significant role in the life of each and every individual. Once up on a time educational institutions were safe place for the students. Now a day misuse of technology has creating unhealthy environment for better learning in the educational institutions. Such kind of unhealthy learning environment affects adversely on the achievement of boy and girl students. The most common victims of harassment through technology are the adolescent girls. Adolescent girls face harassment in a different ways. Mobile is the technology which is cheaply available in the market and plays prominent role in the harassment of adolescent girls. The survey research method was adopted for this research work. The incidental sampling method was used to select 70 adolescent girls for this study. The result of this study indicated that mobile used for the purpose of harassment of adolescent girl students which ultimately affect the mental health.

International Journal of Biomedical and Advance Research , 2012, DOI: 10.7439/ijbar.v3i4.424
Abstract: Background: Burns represent one of the major health problems in India. Objective: To study some of the important epidemiological factors in relation to burn cases. Methods: Present study was retrospective study of all burn injury cases admitted hospital situated in rural area. The information obtained was tabulated analyzed using the software GraphPad Instat. Results: Overall female burn patients were significantly higher than male. Majority of female patients had total burn surface area more than 35% whereas 48.70% of the male patients had a total burn surface area more than 35% ( 2= 7.99, p = 0.005). Thermal burn was the commonest cause of burn followed by scalds. In majority of the patients (91.8%) burns were caused by flame occurred at home. Conclusion: Public education on safer first-aid practices and availability of good burn care facilities is necessary.

Mangal Pandure, Ravindra Karle, Suryakant Dongre, Bharti Baviskar
Internet Journal of Medical Update - EJOURNAL , 2013,
Abstract: ABSTRACT: The breast is rarely a primary site for extranodal lymphoma. Majority of primary Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma of breast occurring in younger age group are bilateral and those in older age group are unilateral. They are of B cell phenotype. We report a rare case of Primary Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma of Breast-B cell phenotype diagnosed on fine needle aspiration cytology and confirmed by histopathological examination and immunohistochemical markers.

International Journal of Biomedical and Advance Research , 2013, DOI: 10.7439/ijbar.v4i1.885
Abstract: Introduction: Harvesting bone graft from iliac crest is routine procedure in orthopaedics practice. Lumbar hernia following this procedure is rare. Lumbar hernia is classified as congenital, primary, post traumatic and incisional. Objective: Reporting herewith a case of right lumbar hernia in 58 years old female occurring 10 years following full thickness iliac crest bone graft. Conclusion: Iliac crest bone harvest needs to be performed meticulously to prevent postoperative hernia. If occurs, polypropylene mesh repair gives good results. Key Words: Lumbar hernia; iliac crest bone graft
Use of “One Minute Preceptor” in surgery OPD in Rural Medical College
Kundankumar Narayan Dandekar,Gokul Jaywant Jorwekar,Padmakar Kashinath Baviskar,Dilip Krishnarao Apturkar
International Journal of Biomedical and Advance Research , 2013, DOI: 10.7439/ijbar.v4i1.899
Abstract: Introduction- Post graduate students during OPD hours, sometimes find it difficult to reach the provisional diagnosis. There is rising tendency to send patients to investigations without utilizing history and clinical findings to reach the diagnosis. Ideal approach- Residents should take careful history, do thorough clinical examination and develop a thought process to utilize these findings to come to a provisional diagnosis. Aim - Use of “One Minute Preceptor” in surgery post graduate residents in surgery OPD. Objectives- The tendency to rush for investigations should change and they should utilize the investigative tools to reinforce their diagnosis rather than getting / seeking readymade diagnosis. Innovation- To achieve this goal, the use of ‘One Minute Preceptor’ was adapted which provides a different approach compared to the traditional teaching. Materials And Methods – 1.Preproject questionnaire 2.Implementation 3.Interval feedback 4. Assessment Results: The use of “One Minute Preceptor’ in Surgery residents in ambulatory setup of Surgery OPD has positively contributed in achieving objectives of developing thought process to reach provisional diagnosis by utilizing history and clinical examination.
Protection of Web User’s Privacy by Securing Browser from Web Privacy Attacks
Sanket Baviskar,Dr. P. Santhi Thilagam
International Journal of Computer Technology and Applications , 2011,
Abstract: The Internet and World Wide Web being an essential part of everyone’s life, the users have become more conscious about their privacy. The user’s web privacy unfortunately, is not focused much by the current browsers. This paper focuses on the attacks which compromises user’s anonymity, grab user’s private data. It highlights the privacy attacks such as history sniffing, web beacons, browser fingerprinting. We focus on the protection of user’s information which is transferred over the network to the web server without the users consent rather than stealing attempts which fools the user and trap them to install malicious software which perform the theft, using social engineering techniques. A generic algorithm has been proposed in this paper which will stop the attacker from violating privacy. We have proposed a secure way of interaction between browser objects through browser API’S and the JavaScript. We developed an add-on which implements the proposed solution.

FILTERING OF ECG SIGNAL USING BUTTERWORTH FILTER AND ITS FEATURE EXTRACTION
BHARTI SALSEKAR,DR. A. K. WADHWANI
International Journal of Engineering Science and Technology , 2012,
Abstract: This paper represents filtering of ECG signal of a healthy person and also an unhealthy person using Butterworth filter and then we extract the features of the resultant noise free ECG signals. The analysis of ECG can benefit from the wide availability of computing technology as far as features and performance as well. The overall process has been subdivided into the process of filtering and then its feature extraction using MATLAB. The features of both the ECG signals are calculated and by comparing these results together we can find theabnormalities in the heart of the unhealthy person. The features calculated are: amplitude of P wave, amplitude of R wave, amplitude of T wave, RR interval etc.
