Abstract: Facultad de Ciencias de la Información Madrid.
Dr. Pedro Reales Figueroa,Dr. Ibrahim Hamad,Dr. Francisco J Pascual García,Dr. Angel F Carazo Marín
Revista Costarricense de Cardiología , 2007,
Abstract: Introducción.
Purification, Immobilization and Characterization of Lipase Isoenzyme from Aspergillus niger with C8 Magnetic Particles  [PDF]
Samanta Hernández-García, María Inmaculada García-García, Francisco García-Carmona
Advances in Bioscience and Biotechnology (ABB) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/abb.2014.57075
Abstract:

The purification of a lipase isoenzyme from an Aspergillus niger lipase A is reported in this manuscript. Purification was carried out in a simple adsorption step, in which the lipase was offered at low ionic strength to the commercially available C8 modified magnetic particles, MaKProt C8. When the isoenzyme was desorbed with a 0.2% solution of Triton X-100, the SDS-PAGE gel showed a single pure band with a molecular weight of 35 KDa. The purified fraction showed 66.75-fold purification compared with the crude extract. The pure fraction was characterized along with the crude extract and the lipase adsorbed on the MaKProt C8. The purified and the adsorbed lipase showed better activity for the tested substrates (p-nitrophenyl acetate, decanoate, myristate and palmitate) than the crude extract, the preferred substrates being myristate (26.7 μmol·min-1·mg-1) and decanoate (17.4 μmol·min-1·mg-1), respectively. The temperature and pH profiles showed no change for the three enzymes, the optimum temperature being 37°C and the best pH 7.0.

García Jurado, Francisco;
Nova tellus , 2008,
Abstract: this paper analyses the specific use that some modern authors have made of greek and latin quotations in order to build their scary stories, from the second half of the eighteenth century to the twentieth century. quotations from plinius the younger, aulus gelius or vergil had an important presence in these accounts, where they were re-read from the view of modern gothic aesthetics. the way new authors get knowledge of greek and latin texts is not always the same: anthologies, citations from rare works, or school readings play different roles when using the ancient authors in a modern novel. this paper will deal with works by charles maturin, jan potocki, edgar allan poe, marcel schwob and jorge luis borges.
La planeación del desarrollo regional en México (1900-2006)
García Moctezuma, Francisco;
Investigaciones geográficas , 2010,
Abstract: development planning, in whichever aspect, as a state attribution which rules the economical and social life of the country, in mexican experience has run a long way starting legally in 1929, perhaps oldest of the latin american region, even when marked by unfinished projects, most of them short-term and lasting for not more than six years, most of them unconnected, expansive in their moment for the national fundings, with meager results, almost every cases, comparing them their ambitious goals widely publicited in order to secure their social acceptance. so, starting with a documental revision this document marks as objective, to aboard the most relevant experiences that in the context of mexico' regional development planning, has been implemented during the last century.
García,Juan Francisco;
Letras , 2009,
Abstract: this article, product of documental-bibliographical research, aims at analyzing the history of the interrogative sentence in the real academia espa?ola (rae). nebrija is the starting point, as he is the author of the first spanish grammar published, and given his influence in the academy. the works reviewed have been organized chronologically, so a division between works written before the xx century and those written during the xx century is presented. the works studied are the gramática de la lengua castellana (grammar of the spanish language) of nebrija, gramática de la lengua castellana of rae, 1771, 1796, 1836, 1890 y 1911, the esbozo de una nueva gramática de la lengua espa?ola (outline of a new grammar of the spanish language) (1973) and gramática descriptiva de la lengua espa?ola (a descriptive grammar of the spanish language) (1999), which contains the theoretical postulates of the interrogative sentence of escandell. it is concluded that, in a first phase, the interrogative sentence did not have autonomy on its own, because it was linked to the interrogative pronouns and adverbs or because its reference was in figurative syntax or rhetoric figures; in a second phase, in the two last works, the interrogative sentence is approached with a structuralist and discursive view.
MODELOS DE REGULACIóN DEL LOBBY EN EL DERECHO COMPARADO
García,José Francisco;
Revista chilena de derecho , 2008, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-34372008000100005
Abstract: comparative law shows different approaches in the regulation of lobbying. on one side, we find the american model, based in detailed and extensive regulation; and, on the other, the u.k. experience, that have rejected a statutory regulation, and promotes the industry self regulation and other mechanisms pro-transparency. also, we find the scheme implemented by the european union (eu), that is very similar to the u.k. model. for the author, this debate seems relevant for the discussion in chile, that has followed an important part of the american legislation, and more over, it seems that the local debate has not considered the other models. in the conclusions, the article describes some lessons that must be taken into account and formulates some policy recommendations for addressing the discussion in chile
Two traditions of liberty?: Confronting Dworkin and Hayek's legal and political philosophy
García,José Francisco;
Revista de derecho (Valparaíso) , 2009, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-68512009000200019
Abstract: contrasting the ideas of the distinguished legal scholar ronald dworkin with those defended by nobel laureate friedrich hayek, in the relation between liberty and equality and liberalism and democracy, this paper unveil key aspects of the long term debate among the so called "two traditions of liberty", as formulated by hayek, in an intent for analyzing the paradox that, although the brand liberalism has been historically in the hands of those who defend a more egalitarian approach to individual and collective questions (and often implies sacrificing liberty for equality), it is plausible to agree with hayek that this historical fact in the battle of ideas, should be revisited carefully. strong reasons suggest that hayek could be right in his claim that a proper "theory of liberty" has been defended historically not by these liberals, but by a tradition of ideas that have had to disguise under other brands: conservatives, libertarians or neo-liberals, generating confusion and misunderstanding.
