Preliminary Information on the Vertebrate Fauna (Animalia: Vertebrata) of the NATURA2000 Site “Rice Fields Tsalapitsa” (Bulgaria)

Abstract: The study was carried out by tree visits in different areas of the Natura 2000 site “Rice Fields Tsalapitsa” BG 0002086 (West of Plovdiv city, near village of Tsalapitsa). Our preliminary research showed that in the area vertebrates with high conservation status occurred included in the Bulgarian Bidiversity Act, Appendix II and III, Appendix II of the Bern convention, Natura 2000 species list, the Bonn convention, Appendix II, the Convention of the International Trade of Endangered Species, and the list of the International Union for Conservation of the Nature. This information will help in future preparation of the management plan of the Natura 2000 site and showed the need of studies focused on such areas which will help undertaking adequate measures for their proper way of conservation.
A planar vacuum diode with electrons possessing velocity distribution function

Abstract: The current-voltage characteristic of a planar vacuum diode with electrons possessing velocity distribution function during an emission from the cathode (electron beam) is theoretically considered in this article. The electron beam movement in the volume is examined. An integral-differential equation for the electric field potential is got in a correct form. A current-voltage characteristic of the diode for a model function of the velocity distribution of the emitted electrons is obtained.
Analytical form of current-voltage characteristic of parallel-plane, cylindrical and spherical ionization chambers with homogeneous ionization

Abstract: The elementary processes taking place in the formation of charged particles and their flow in parallel-plane, cylindrical and spherical ionization chambers are considered. On the basis of particles and charges balance a differential equation describing the distribution of current densities in the ionization chamber volume is obtained. As a result of the differential equation solution an analytical form of the current-voltage characteristic of an ionization chamber with homogeneous ionization is obtained. For the parallel-plane case the comparison with experimental data is performed.
A modification of Oersted experiment

Abstract: The paper describes a simple setup of Oersted experiment. A planar coil of wires has been used to deflect vigorously the magnetic needle (more than 80 angular degrees) when a current of up to 1 A flows along it. Based on theoretical analysis the torque on the magnetic field is analytically expressed taking into account the inhomogeneity of the field and the needle shape. What is more, a procedure to measure the Earth's magnetic component is implied and implemented and its magnitude has been estimated following the same steps.

Abstract: The paper presents a theoretical analysis on the interaction between the Earth's magnetic field of a compass needle and the magnetic field of a straight infinite current-carrying wire. Implementation of a planar horizontal coil of wires has been shown as a sinus galvanometer. The magnetic field over the planar coil of wires has been examined by experiment. The coil could be used as a model for straight infinite current wire in demonstration set-ups or could be given as an assignment in Physics laboratory workshops.
Analytical solution to the Langmuir spherical problem

Abstract: The current paper discusses and analytically solves the Langmuir spherical problem. A general solution has been obtained in a parametric representation and expressed in terms of the Airy function. A solution to the electric potential in a spherical vacuum diode with limited electron flow has also been reached.

Abstract: The paper analyses volt-ampere characteristics of a planar vacuum diode with mono-energetic electrons, emitted by the cathode (an electron beam). The movement of the electron beam in the volume of the diode is described. An analytic dependence of the volt-ampere characteristics in an unlimited and limited by the field mode of the electron beam is derived.
