Evelyn Gonzalez Delgado, Gianluca Sottilotta
Open Journal of Blood Diseases (OJBD) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/ojbd.2013.31003
Abstract:

We present the case of a 51-year-old moderate hemophiliac with gingival bleeding due to papillary inflammation and adherence in the molar area 47. After dental diagnosis a calculus was removed and 30% trichloroacetic acid was placed by a pressurized applicator for five seconds; the procedure was repeated until the bleeding stopped, then tranexamic acid was placed by a gauze. The patient chewed the gauze for 30 minutes and was discharged after repeating the same procedure for 30 minutes more. We observed how local treatment with trichloroacetic acid combined to tranexamic acid placed on the hemorrhagic site was able to stop the bleeding.

La integración de los saberes bajo el enfoque deialéctico globalizador: La interdisciplinariedad y transdisciplinariedad en educación
Delgado,René;
Investigación y Postgrado , 2009,
Abstract: this article analyzes the integration of knowledge from the globalizing dialectic approach under two perspectives: interdiscipleness and transdiscipleness in education. the study was supported by the modality of documentary research. among the results it shows: (a) the globalizing dialectic approach applied to education requires the use of a curriculum integrated by projects that help to develop competences in order to understand the reality and its processes from an integral and globalized perspective; (b) it becomes necessary to set out pedagogical strategies that serve to the purpose of the learning processes, the practical experiences, needs and interests of the students in order to strengthen the cognitive and physical structure, gender, critical thinking and socialization. all these aspects can be guaranteed if there is a constant application of a comprehensive evaluation of the processes that develop the necessary competences in the modern world.

'Inspiración' y 'entusiasmo' en la poetología platónica: expresiones relativas al estado epistémico del poeta
Delgado,Carolina;
Circe de cl??sicos y modernos , 2010,
Abstract: in this paper an interpretation of the use of expressions as 'inspiration' and 'enthusiasm' in the context of the platonic poetology is suggested. this interpretation tries to clarify the apparent contradiction between the platonic statement that (1) the poet had no knowledge and (2) poetry possibly can offer true contents. so the chance of decoding the figurative use of these expressions through the epistemological notion coined by plato of 'true belief' is investigated.
Algunas anécdotas sobre las peripecias de los archivos de Jujuy: Reflexiones sobre la legislación y valoraciones sobre su importancia como patrimonio cultural
Delgado,Fanny;
Cuadernos de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales. Universidad Nacional de Jujuy , 2002,
Abstract: this paper takes into consideration jujuy′s public and private document files from its foundation to the present. firstly we will refer to the historical comings an goings leading to the dispersion or disappearance of documents belonging to the present-day province of jujuy from early times to these days. secondly, we wil analyse the legislation pertaining provincial public documents files (1) and the political tendencies revealed in such legislation about the whereabouts and importance of the document sources. thereafter, we will proceed to consider private document files existing in the province and the necessity of their cataloguing in order to appraise such documentation so that researchers and public in general could access them as valuable elements of co-operation in their approach to jujuy′s history. finally we will formulate some considerations about the importance granted to document files and his public records offices by the province and society as a whole, not only as heritage to be safeguarded but fundamentally as a "future memory", which should be regarded as an invaluable resort for the reconstruction of our history - not the history woven by suspicious readings - but also as an approach to reality which will contribute to a new formulation of our identity as a result of our past.

O acolhimento familiar numa perspectiva ecológico-social
Delgado,Paulo;
Revista Lusófona de Educa??o , 2009,
Abstract: bronfenbrenner’s eco-social approach allows us to understand human development as well as to identify factors influencing ecological transitions. this perspective is particularly well suited to study the transitions occurring in the lives of children in foster care: separation from parents and the challenges of an unknown environment. this approach is also valuable in orienting intervention in practice, preventing risks and promoting children’s integration and development.
?Democratizar la Ciencia? Diálogo, reflexividad y apertura
Delgado,Ana;
Revista iberoamericana de ciencia tecnolog?-a y sociedad , 2010,
Abstract: within the political and academic discourses, dialogue, reflexivity and openness have been generally identified as defining features of 'science democratisation'. this paper focuses on those three features and on how they work and are intervined within the discurse and practices of science democratisation. in developing these arguments, the author takes three different perspectives: "out there", looking at real proceses of science democratisation; "in-here", focusing on academic approaches; "from within", taking the position of a practitioner involved in the organisation of processes of science democratisation. in a broad sense, the paper argues that even when there is a shared discurse on science democratisation (defined in terms of dialogue, openness and reflexivity), there are multiple interpretations of it, and they are often controversial. a multiplicity of values and motivations is at the basis of differing ways of interpreting the discurse of science democratisation. in concrete practices, openness, dialogue and pluralism should work as practical regulative principles rather than rigid and predetermined goals.
